“allows me to send customized forms
Pros
I love how simple it is for me to send customized forms to my patients and track when they have received and completed them.
Cons
What I like least is that I sometimes face formatting issues when building a new form, as it does not always lay out correctly initially. Plus it takes some time getting used to but fortunately the tutorial videos and customer support have been extremely helpful in guiding me through those hiccups.

“offers lots of form types
Pros
The thing I love is how many different forms I can use and how easy the setup was.
Cons
Unfortunately, I cannot skip a form and still submit an intake which is a major issue.

“User friendly, simple and affordable
Pros
I find it very user-friendly, simple to implement and affordable
Cons
I wish there were an option to reformat intake forms so they print on fewer pages when a patient requests a paper copy. I would also love to see native integration with Square for card payments.

“Simple to use and professional interface
Pros
It is simple for me to use and my clients always get a very professional-looking interface.
Cons
I find it frustrating that I have to build each form from scratch instead of scanning them in and I'd really prefer not to have to reconstruct my forms every time.

“The best platform for paperwork
Pros
I have tried many platforms for handling paperwork and this one genuinely stands out as the best for both my experience and my clients. It includes everything I expect such as telehealth, appointment scheduling, group access controls and both credit card and insurance billing. I also like the granular control over processes, workflows and automation, allowing me to shape things to how I work. Exporting reports to CSV and PDF is easy and the full two-way Google Calendar sync keeps everything aligned. Support has been excellent too and I was able to integrate Postmark to send from custom email addresses.
Cons
One drawback I noticed is that new accounts no longer get Stripe or Square integrations which I find unfortunate. So it feels like a step back for anyone preferring those payment processors. Also because the system is built to be extremely customizable, it takes a fair amount of time to set up and configure everything the way I want.

“Great for forms and client onboarding
Pros
IntakeQ is quite good for handling client forms and notes in a landscape filled with overly complicated practice-management systems. Creating online intake forms for clients is simple too and being able to attach disclosures and other legal documents for electronic signature streamlines onboarding. After adding a client, it is very easy to keep their timeline current with session notes and related files. Building templates for forms and notes does not require much effort. Above all the pricing is fair and accessible for small to mid-sized practices which seems to be the target audience. The setup itself is also quick and easy.
Cons
That said I would not say I dislike anything about it. however I'd really like broader integrations with third-party tools. For example a Wix Bookings connection because that kind of syncing would make aligning appointment times across the different services my practice uses much easier.

“perfect product at an affordable price
Pros
I am pleased with this great product that is available at an affordable price. It suits the healthcare industry. Plus it is easy to use with simple forms and appointment booking. Customizable templates and forms simplify tasks. Calendar setup, e-signatures and document sending and editing work reliably.
Cons
Well I have found the recurring payment feature to be poorly organized. Using the app on mobile feels boring too. Also the calendar view could use improvements. And frequently my messages end up in recipients spam folders instead of arriving normally.

“Spend Smart, Go Elsewhere
Pros
Their forms come with a price. Once they get you to buy, the support for setting things up is not really there, leaving you to figure it out on your own.
Cons
The customer service could be much better. When I reach out for support, they just send me a link to some guide. Given that I'm paying over $6,000 a year per practice, I expect to speak directly to someone when I have technical questions.

“Need better customization
Pros
The options for personalizing your workflows are quite impressive and flexible.
Cons
The color schemes and templates are really unpleasant, and the fact that they are not customizable is frustrating. You're forced to send out their pre-designed email templates, which honestly look like spam, and you can't personalize your domain or use white labeling. Their support team mostly talks about how great the product is but doesn't seem to know how to set it up or optimize it for individual business needs. They claim it's amazing because you can supposedly do anything you want with it, but I could go on forever about the missing features.

“Favorite EMR
Pros
IntakeQ has completely changed how I feel about doing my patient notes! What used to be the most tedious part of my practice is now something I actually enjoy. I love how I can make it my own with the adaptable processes and workflows. It's truly an all-in-one solution with features like audio/video appointments, scheduling, reminders, website links, Fullscript integration, and documentation built right into my notes. The voice-to-text feature is a huge bonus for me. Plus, the notes look professional and are easy to read. The messaging feature is essential for my virtual practice and helps me stay connected with my patients.
Cons
I don't have any complaints. After trying so many other EHR systems, intakeQ is honestly a win for me.

“IntakeQ = Stellar EMR
Pros
Their customer service is exceptional. The design and user experience are excellent, the patient portal works smoothly, and the features are almost limitless.
Cons
There are a lot of features and options, and setting everything up for your practice can take a little time, but in the end, it's definitely worth the effort.

“Mental Health Practices, Rejoice!
Pros
I love how customizable it is, and I appreciate that they've maintained the same pricing for long-time users. Their email support is great, and there's a lot of consistency in their services.
Cons
I wish they had an open API for billing. Their current billing system isn't ideal for our more complex needs, so we've had to create a complicated workaround. Having an open API would be a game-changer.

“Run Your Business, Your Way
Pros
IntakeQ is so customizable that you can truly design the business and services that suit your needs best. It's not a one-size-fits-all kind of software.

We would really appreciate it if signing supervising notes were a bit more simple and efficient.

“Fantastic & Budget-Friendly
Pros
Once it's set up, it's so simple and has fully automated my workflow, allowing me to manage a multimillion-dollar practice on my own.
Cons
Some of the automations can't be turned off, and there are still occasional glitches with the e-prescription feature.
