“User-friendly document creator
Pros
You can create documents really easily on this platform. My clients also find it easy to use and I have not received any complaints about it being difficult. The interface itself is simple and user friendly for me to navigate.
Cons
The cost is a little high. I would also really like to have the ability to build surveys directly on the platform. Plus it would be great if clients could upload their own documents through it.

“Easy for staff to learn
Pros
Storing frequently used documents is a feature I really like, it simplifies both saving and sending them out and overall the platform is very user-friendly, so new staff members can learn it quickly.
Cons
My main wish is for a full integration with our specific electronic health record system. We also have trouble with clients not finishing their forms, so a warning message like 'his form is not complete would be really helpful.

“Highly customizable for client documents
Pros
The best part is how customizable everything is. I can quickly draft documents for my clients without a hassle. It does not take long to learn the system and you can even make complex forms and convert them to PDFs for clients to fill out by hand.
Cons
There is not a button to translate documents automatically. I have to manually translate every single document into Spanish. Another thing that's missing is the option to upload forms that have been filled out by hand.

“Love Building Custom Forms Easily
Pros
I love being able to build custom forms and even like the wide variety of question types available. Also the interface is user-friendly, the support team responds quickly and overall it is simple to use.
Cons
What frustrates me is having to lock the prior note before any changes will carry over to the next one.

“form creation made simple
Pros
Creating forms with this tool is really simple and I find the whole process pretty user friendly. Though pretty often I need a couple of attempts to position the fields or boxes the way I want them but it is generally not too hard.
Cons
I cannot think of any major drawbacks at the moment. But maybe I did prefer a few more field options in the future but on the whole it does exactly what I need and meets my expectations.

Initially I struggled to configure the signature fields because my clients were forced to tick an opt-out of research box. However support helped resolve this quickly.

“pretty simpe to use but flawed reporting
Pros
Using it has been remarkably easy and whenever I need help the support team responds quickly and really knows what they're doing. Our patients also seem to like it and it syncs smoothly with our EHR. Plus the QR codes are fantastic! My clinic has honestly gotten a lot of value and enjoyment from this program.
Cons
Customizing the intake form header should be simpler. I had IntakeQ design a header and while their turnaround was quick, I was dissatisfied. Our team needs more flexibility with patient search filters. Also sending multiple forms to the same patient creates duplicates that affect our reports and skew statistics. So I would like a way to delete or merge duplicate forms in bulk, rather than opening each chart to remove them individually, for more accurate reporting.

“Easy access with hipaa compliance
Pros
My patient records are easy to access and compliant with HIPAA which I like. I also enjoy being able to add notes across different sections and it is incredibly handy to see when patients have returned their completed forms to me.
Cons
I have not run into any problem so Honestly I have no complaints to share at this point.

Pros
One thing I really like about IntakeQ is its ease of use. Plus the overall interface feels user-friendly and learning to navigate forms, tailor questionnaires and coordinate appointments was surprisingly simple too. It has cut down on our administrative work and saved us significant time. So I recommend it to any practice seeking an easy way to simplify patient intake and enhance workflow. Additionally the pricing for the service seems fair and reasonable.
Cons
For me the biggest drawback is that it does not fully sync with our EHR. While it handles intake forms by uploading them, it cannot automatically refresh or update patient demographic fields in our records based on form responses. I know another vendor that provides that functionality and having it here would make our process much smoother and more efficient. Because of this missing integration, we still must manually transfer some details into the EHR, costing extra time and effort.

One thing I have noticed it allows multiple forms for the same patient with no simple way for patients to return and complete unfinished forms. The platform also fails to recognize returning users, causing them to start duplicate forms.

Pros
Even though I am not a tech wizard, yet I find the interface incredibly easy to use. You do not need special technical skills to start and whenever I have questions the team responds quickly and is genuinely helpful.
Cons
Since it does not integrate with our system, I find uploading forms takes a bit longer than I'd like.

We really like how simple it is for our patients to complete the forms we have set up in IntakeQ and how simple it was for our team to design those forms.
Cons
