“Practical group tagging and recovery

Pros

I really value being able to assign multiple tags to items and I appreciate that when I remove documents from a batch, they aren't lost forever. Group tagging is fast and highly practical for me.

Cons

the app's continual refreshing and result updates introduce noticeable lag and on occasion it behaves glitchily. I'd also like a way to undo mistakes, plus the ability to have tags sorted by most recent activity so I can find the ones I am using right now.

“Fast, effective online review

Pros

Because the system is online, I find the review process both fast and effective, no matter where I am working from.

Cons

I found it hard to pick up and use without guidance, I'd like to be able to explore and uncover the program's capabilities on my own but the interface and layout aren't simple or self-explanatory, so training feels necessary.

“Quick search with saved workflows

Pros

Great tool... I can search through huge numbers of documents quickly and affordably and I save searches to use again later which makes my workflow much simpler.

Cons

I have trouble printing directly from the searchable database.

Pros

After using the platform for over two years, I feel confident navigating it. Everything is simple to operate and I rarely run into issues.

I do experience noticeable slowness with this tool at times, particularly during the afternoons.

I use this platform constantly for reviewing documents and preparing for trials. Sorting and organizing documents is much easier for me when I'm preparing for depositions or court.

it is difficult for me to batch-process documents and some of the search tools, such as wildcard support, aren't easy or simple to use.

Pros

Using the search interface makes it really easy for me to find the exact documents I need. Tagging and annotations also speed up my workflow.

Sometimes when I tag a document so it no longer meets the current search criteria, the system kicks that file out of the results and starts reprocessing it which creates a noticeable lag. I'd love an option to 'freeze' a running search so tagging doesn't trigger processing and cause delays while I am working.

The tagging feature felt very simple to use and the search results bar worked well for me. Overall, the interface looks clean and easy to navigate.

Cons

redaction feature needs to improve. I expected more options like a 'redacted' stamp or multiple color choices to better match different needs and workflows. That said, the redact tool itself is easy to operate and I picked it up almost immediately after trying it a couple of times.

“Excellent, responsive support

Pros

Support has been excellent and I often rely on the chat since they respond quickly and are genuinely helpful.

Cons

New features take quite a while to be introduced and there are many tools I rely on from e-discovery, often viewed as essential, that still haven't been implemented which frustrates me when workflows are missing.

“Smooth interface for uploading and generating documents

Pros

Navigating the interface is simple, so I can quickly upload, convert, review and generate documents without much effort. Download options are great and support is easy to reach by phone, email, or chat.

Cons

Conversion times for uploaded files are inconsistent, so I always build extra time into my schedule. I am also frustrated that the charges don't change whether I am simply converting files or keeping them stored on the site for later review after conversion has completed.

Pros

Searching through documents is simple and advanced search features make things even easier for me.

Cons

I find it less helpful when handling documents that are hundreds of pages long.

The system is very user-friendly, allowing me to upload documents quickly. Reviewers pick it up fast and can start tagging items efficiently right away.

I wish there were a way to reduce uploads using a keyword search list instead of being forced to upload the whole batch of documents first.

This app is easy to use and it doesn't freeze like other programs I've tried. Tagging multiple documents at once saves a lot of time and filtering by tags makes finding things easier.

Cons

It took me a little while to figure out how to search for a particular document but once I got the hang of it searching became easy and posed no real problems.

Pros

Working with the drag-and-drop processing is smooth for me and creating productions takes almost no time at all.

Sometimes the interface feels a bit cluttered. I wonder if there's a built-in option to export produced documents as PDFs. Also, is it simple to run user reports, like how many documents were viewed, coded, or what the action history shows? I am not really complaining but I'd love to know more about advanced searching capabilities and ECA features.

Once the more complex searches are mastered, they become incredibly useful, letting me perform highly targeted searches consistently.

Cons

Learning to run the more advanced searches and to set up productions with every key feature has been challenging for me. The productions in particular are tough because the various options feel complex and aren't always simple. Also, the interface can sometimes be VERY slow and it becomes frustrating when loading documents or navigating through a production.

Pros

The interface is visually pleasing and simple to navigate and documents open almost instantly, saving me a lot of time.

Cons

I'd like a way to see the Bates-stamped versions of documents once they've been produced. At the moment there isn't any integration or congreatation linking the raw documents we've gathered to their produced counterparts which makes tracking those versions tough.

“Easy upload & download workflow

Pros

Having control over the upload and download workflow helps me a lot and admins and reviewers both find it easy to use.

Cons

My experience is that the search could be stronger and should let me include families. Admin functions need a delete-upload ability. I also want more granular permission options, for instance, to allow someone only to view documents, block tagging, or restrict them to a defined set of tags.

Pros

Tech Support is always available and I can rely on them whenever I need help with case-specific requests.

Cons

Sometimes I find it tricky to craft the right search to get the most precise results but fortunately tech support is just a click away and they've stepped in to help me when I needed it.

Pros

Setting up custom searches and tracking down particular documents is easy and the new feature that splits saved searches into separate pools for team members is very useful for me.

Cons

However, saved searches sometimes don't behave the way I expect them to. I've also noticed it can get sluggish and act a bit glitchy when I am batch-tagging a number of documents at once.

The search tools do a great job filtering out irrelevant documents, making it easy for me to review large batches efficiently.
