Slow uploads & tag issues

Pros

Being fully virtual is very convenient and the interface is simple to get around which helps me stay productive.

Cons

My uploads take forever. I've also experienced multiple occasions where my redactions and tags failed to persist.

Direct, convenient support

Pros

Whenever I need help, I can reach out to customer support directly through the website without any fuss.

Cons

Searching for specific words is tricky for me and the multiple ways to enter search queries just end up being confusing.

Simple for guiding attorneys

Pros

What I like most is the program's simplicity. It's easy to walk attorneys and their teams through the platform and they don't get intimidated by the many options that some other systems throw at you.

Cons

I do find, however, that while this platform works well as an introductory solution, it comes with several limitations that affect my workflow. For example, the user permissions are fairly basic and don't let me lock down access the way I need for more complex matters. Another recurring headache is the limited date formatting requirement for uploads, I end up spending a significant amount of time converting dates before I can bring files into the system. It's also frustrating that data overlay isn't possible unless the information has been ingested as a database, we frequently receive productions that only include images and native files without any load files and that gap creates extra manual work and slows things down.

Full control and flat-rate pricing

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about this tool is how much control it gives me. I no longer have to wait for vendors to be in their office or be available remotely in order to get things done. I can shape my workflow and manage my documents exactly the way I want, instead of being forced to follow what the wider industry does. The pricing is incredibly easy and hard to beat, you pay a single flat fee to store data and that's it. I can create as many productions as I want and share as many as I need without running into limits or extra charges.

Cons

Because the product is still fairly new, the team is continually working on improvements and refinements. I don't have any major issues with it and the things I find annoying are relatively minor. From what I've seen, most of these small problems will be addressed and cleaned up as the product matures over time.

feasible interface with efficient review

Pros

perfect it is that how easy and simple the interface is. We got everything set up and started using the software right away. It handles a wide range of load file formats without fuss and I find the review, tagging and culling features hit the sweet spot for fast, efficient document review.

Cons

So far there aren't any features I actively dislike. Having used the product for two months, I've run into a few hiccups when loading files, specifically linking native documents can be tricky. Still, those issues are fairly minor for how I use the tool.

Accessible tools with batch tagging

Pros

Great feature is that almost every tool is accessible right from a default home area and I also find the batch tagging and family tagging features very useful and efficient for managing items.

Cons

One frustration I have is the absence of some review tools I rely on, like a history of tags and the ability to sort documents into rows and columns so I can organize them by size. I find myself wanting to view more metadata for each file I inspect and the fact that highlights don't stick between sessions is a significant limitation. On top of that, it would be great to have more control over configuring the review panels to suit my workflow.

Clear ESI management approach

Pros

It delivers a easy approach to ESI management, so I like that attorneys are more likely to grasp the core principles guiding how data is reviewed and produced.

Cons

Powerful search & data features

Pros

Okay so.... I've tried almost every current review platform and this one still stands out as one of the best. The search tools and data capabilities are absolutely superb.

Cons

Occasionally I find the review panes behave a bit oddly but in general I don't run into any significant issues with them.

Fast handling with instant tagging

Pros

How quickly I can get through documents is great and having instant tagging available is really useful.

Cons

I do have trouble with the sidebar's family scrolling and I also can't see my password while I am typing it in.

Saves time and reduces costs

Pros

Thanks to this software I've been able to deliver a lot more services and real value to my small business client. Rather than paying to outsource document review or spending hours sifting through files on my own, I simply upload a project to the platform and let it handle the bulk of the work. The interface is tidy and easy to navigate, customer support has been excellent and overall the program performs reliably. Best of all, I've been able to manage most of our routine document reviews myself (avoiding the need to hire extra staff) which has saved my client thousands in legal fees and, not surprisingly, made them very pleased.

Cons

Right now the pricing model for small users charges based on storage rather than the actual amount of data processed by the software which I find frustrating. In my practice I only have roughly four or five litigation or similar matters each year where I need a tool like this, so paying for long-term storage feels inefficient. It would be preferable if billing was tied to the number of gigabytes processed during a project instead of the gigabytes kept in storage, although I can work around the current approach and it's not a dealbreaker.

Efficient processing

Pros

The interface and the way it handles processing are excellent. I can accomplish in just a few hours what used to take me several days and would have meant hiring extra professional help to handle the processing.

Organized review and time-saving setup

Pros

Accurate searches with easy tagging

Pros

This product has impressed me a lot, searches return accurate results when I use keywords and the tagging and categorization options make preparing reports very easy. Support is responsive and overall, it's a very great tool for handling large databases.

Accurate OCR but slow with large files

Pros

I've become a fan of this tool because its character recognition picks up about 95% of the documents relevant to me.

Cons

My only gripe is that it can be slow with larger files, though that may sometimes be my internet.
