From my perspective the pricing is extremely competitive especially since I don't have to burden internal systems with massive storage. Uploading files and getting them review-ready is quick and the de-duplication features are very helpful. Chat support has been responsive and capable.

We find the pricing model harsh because they charge by the gigabyte for the largest data sets per matter and my firm has faced surprise bills exceeding $1,200 that we couldn't pass on to clients due to this billing practice.

Breaking up large files into separate email threads has been a lifesaver for my team. Handling thousands of messages bundled in huge PDFs used to be extremely time-consuming but the app automatically splits them, saving hours of manual work and keeping review organized.

The scrolling behavior could use some polish, sometimes I lose track of the last document I was reviewing because the interface auto-scrolls after I tag an item. It's probably just a personal preference but that automatic jump can be frustrating during long review sessions. Also, I would really appreciate a proper 'night mode' if one isn't already available. Staring at a bright white screen for hours is draining and having the menus and empty areas shift to darker tones could help reduce eye strain and make marathon reviews more comfortable.

Pros

I've found this tool really easy to pick up and use. Compared with the "big names" in the market, it feels noticeably faster, the interface is more simple and I don't need specialized testing or formal coursework to administer it.

Cons

While it lacks some of the bells and whistles that larger platforms provide, I also feel many of those extras are tough to get buy-in for anyway. For certain results I still rely on a few workarounds but because the team keeps rolling out updates regularly, I expect those rough edges will become easier to manage over time.

Being a fairly new platform, I still have questions sometimes although the interface feels extremely simple and I find it very simple to get around. A huge number of discovery documents can be imported into the system and I can organize everything exactly how it's required. It's highly customizable and covers all my needs.

Getting it set up to process non-English documents was easy. The language-ID feature did precisely what I expected and after that it was really simple to open my documents and run machine translations. The tool even connects you to a partner that has an excellent system which smoothed the workflow. As I've mentioned before on Capterra, the user-friendliness really shines when you need it most. Over the past ten years I have approved linguists across dozens of platforms and none of the usual hiccups showed up with this one. A particularly helpful sales rep/CSR knew exactly where the 'workaround' was to save the translations my contractors created. They called it ad-hoc but it functioned exactly as I required. Hats off to this product, it's the easiest platform I've ever used and it has made me far more efficient than before (no need to tell my manager that the time I would normally spend chasing translator mistakes was instead spent working on my short game and soaking up the California sun). Cheers!

“affordable in-house discovery solution

Pros

For our small in-house legal team, we discovered this web-based platform is excellent for handling fundamental discovery work. Since buying licenses from the big players like Relativity wasn't financially viable for our tiny department, we wanted a way to run certain discovery processes ourselves. This product turned out to be exactly what we needed to meet that in-house need.

Cons

I find some of the product's features awkward to reach and occasionally I end up jumping through odd hoops just to finish simple tasks.

it is incredibly easy to both bring in data and pull entire data sets back out when I need them.

I am finding this database really simple to use. After watching a brief walkthrough video, I clearly understood every essential action I needed to take, how to upload documents, create and apply tags, run searches efficiently and flag items for experts, among other things.

Cons

So far I haven't run into any real drawbacks. When I am importing very large datasets there's some processing lag but that seems normal. Being able to upload the files myself is a big plus compared with some other databases.

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how simple and flexible the platform is. I can access it on a PC, Mac, or iPad without any trouble which is brilliant. I also value that help is only a short link away - whether that's live chat or easy-to-locate tutorials and guides. Being able to review documents literally anywhere, at any time, boosts my productivity.

Cons

Not a con but I'd love to see a few additions such as the option to export to legacy Summation DII without embedding the dataset's OCR text into my DII. I also require the ability to export a control list to support that workflow. There are still users and organizations that rely on that older platform so compatibility matters to me.
