“Flexible review for mid-sized cases

Pros

When I am handling a small to mid-sized matter, say under 50,000 documents, this tool is really handy for processing, culling and reviewing the data. I like that the coding panel is customizable to match my coding needs. Also, I can search keywords without trouble and tag or code documents rapidly.

Cons

I haven't experienced any drawbacks.

Somehow this tool turned e-discovery into something I actually enjoyed. My team and I had to go through more than 1 million pages on an extremely tight deadline and honestly it was the least difficult and most enjoyable document review I've ever been part of. I genuinely like this platform.

When it came time for actual production and Bates stamping, I found the interface clumsy and not very simple to use which slowed me down more than I expected.

“No-frills discovery that just works

Pros

We recently added this tool at our office and I am genuinely pleased with it. The cost is fair, very affordable. We didn't want a bunch of extra bells and whistles and this product really meets that need without adding complexity. Feeding thousands of emails into the system quickly gets rid of duplicates and usually trims the remainder down to a manageable set. The fundamental tasks are easy, upload, review, redact, export and similar actions are simple to perform and don't cause headaches. There are also extra features that let me flag documents as privileged or otherwise, so they stay in the database but can be promptly excluded when producing documents. The support team has been outstanding. During my first few uses I probably opened the online chat three times and each time the reps were patient, walked me through things and were extremely helpful. Overall it's a great, no-frills discovery and production tool that's easy to use and priced in a way that fits our budget and workflow needs.

Cons

A helpful enhancement would be better redaction assistance. For example, let me search for specific words or phrases, highlight those results and then hit an "apply" button to redact them in bulk. That would save time and I understand the team is already working on something along these lines.

“smooth multi-workstream review experience

Pros

it's perfect how the platform handles multiple workstreams at once and the filter carousel makes it easy to narrow results to particular documents or document types. The support team has been fantastic, they're always ready to jump on a call to walk through any questions I have.

Cons

For larger review projects I found the platform pretty limiting when multiple reviewers need to be logged in at the same time. We used it for a document review engagement and quickly ran into situations where less experienced reviewers could, often unintentionally, make sweeping edits or changes across large sets of documents with a few clicks. Because my team prefers to limit the potential for broad, accidental edits, that capability created real headaches and extra oversight work. Additionally although the tool performs well for productions, trying to locate producible documents and then search within and across those produced sets was tough. In particular I couldn't build a Responsive Family search that behaved dynamically, the searches felt static and inflexible which made it harder for me to find responsive families in an efficient, repeatable way.

Expanding the chat with support would be helpful because the chat bubble sometimes gets in the way when I work through issues.

For me the standout thing about this tool is that it provides a great e-discovery platform while remaining affordably priced for handling smaller cases.

Having multiple tiers in the pay-as-you-go option, or a full-year subscription after reaching a spending threshold, would be ideal for me.

From the first time I tried this program I've been really impressed. It's simple right out of the gate and during my initial upload they walked me through how to use it and have been quick to help whenever new project questions pop up. The chat option is fantastic since sometimes a little nudge is all I need and that help is consistently available whenever I look for it.

Cons

Automatic updates for previously uploaded projects and more printing choices would make things easier for me though part of the challenge is working with a very old-school organization.

At my small law firm, we were tired of waiting around for e-discovery vendors to process our often modest document sets, so I appreciate that this tool is completely automated and self-service. The fact that billing is tied solely to storage usage makes it practical whether a matter is huge or fairly small which has saved us money and hassle. Customer support has been outstanding, once one of the company's founders actually called me to ask for my suggestions on improvements which I found impressive. They keep adding new features and polishing the service every month instead of forcing us into expensive major releases every few years, so the product keeps getting better and more useful.

Cons

Occasional website freezes and missing features, like manually editing metadata for scanned documents, can frustrate me.

I am really impressed by how simple it is to upload and review documents. The app clearly shows which file types are acceptable and navigating the review process feels very simple and user-friendly. On top of that, their customer support is outstanding. Whenever I had a question and needed help, a real person responded to me in under five minutes. They reached out by phone, message, or by sending a link to exactly where I could find the information I needed. The reps also followed up afterward to make sure I was fully taken care of.

Cons

Removing individual files from an upload would be useful, currently, I can only delete the whole upload at once.

It enables us to handle document productions of virtually any scale without forcing us to sign up with one of the big vendors like Relativity and I genuinely appreciate the outstanding, responsive customer support available through the chat feature.

Ever since I started using this tool, organizing and reviewing documents has become dramatically easier and much faster than before. Working on projects with more than one person is also easy and convenient which really cuts down on the kinds of confusion that used to occur when files and notes got out of sync. Honestly the best thing about the whole experience has been the support staff. I have received a ton of assistance through multiple training sessions I attended and any questions I've emailed in were answered promptly and clearly. Within a fairly short stretch of time I picked up most of the ins and outs of the program. I feel confident navigating several of its features and even teaching colleagues at my firm how to perform the same tasks. Every time I talk with someone from the tool's support team, they keep me updated on new functions and improvements the engineers are working on to make workflows smoother and boost overall quality. It genuinely feels like they pay attention to user feedback and are actively trying to make things better.

Cons

Viewing Bates-numbered documents in strict numerical order is tricky, I would prefer a congreatated PDF for the full sequence though it's a minor annoyance.

Okay so.... I am impressed by how simple it is for me to import data. The platform gives clear progress tracking and notifies me when uploads finish. Its user interface and support especially around uploads and across other areas, are excellent.

Uploads and processing can be slow which occasionally frustrates me but otherwise the system works as expected.

The interface is simple and easy to use. I handled a complicated task on short notice without trouble. The initial walkthrough with the client was helpful. Ongoing support was excellent. It gave me the guidance and tools I needed. Overall this service is great for complex, short-term discovery tasks. It keeps things easy and low on hassle.

Cons

A client-side deployment option would be preferable because we used the platform for tight deadlines though ongoing storage fees make long-term retention less appealing.
