“Fast and accurate data handling

We find it handles data very quickly and with great accuracy. That speed and reliability are a big help for our team, particularly when we're supporting smaller firms that don't have the capacity or resources to produce a lot of data themselves, so it really eases the burden around data production.

What frustrates me is that when I create very large downloads there isn't an FTP server option to pull the full package. The tool lets you split the download into parts but I'd much rather get a single bundle instead of pieces. It gets especially confusing because when the download is split only one of the parts is a .zip file, so whoever receives it can have a hard time figuring out how to unzip and assemble the files.

The user interface is approachable and documents process quickly, downloading files and tagging feels natural, with rapid help from support whenever I need it.

One annoyance for me is there isn't a simple 'undo' if I accidentally cull or tag a large batch of documents, I'd love a way to view, say, a user's last ten actions and be able to revert them if necessary. That said, customer support has been excellent in fixing the one or two hiccups we've run into and beyond that I can't think of anything I dislike, it's an excellent product overall.

When the company expanded their pricing kept shifting and became pretty high, so much so that we actually stopped using the service for a period. We've returned since then and in our case the current price point feels fair.

Onboarding was completed in just two hours and my team was ready to go thanks to personalized guidance and fast chat support.

Before we went into production I requested PDF files instead of TIFFs with load files because, from my research, PDFs appeared to be the format most other e-discovery tools used. For our project, however, the support team here advised that TIFFs accompanied by load files would have been a better choice for indexing. I don't blame the product, it just ran counter to what I had expected based on prior research.

There are a few capabilities I wish the program included but I regularly share my requests on the tool's wish list with support and they consistently note them and promise to bring those items up with the technical team as well.

For my part I found the software simple and immediately usable without any training although it hides a lot of deeper, more advanced features that I am going to need time to master. Fortunately their support team is excellent which makes learning those capabilities a lot less stressful.

Prorated fees make it affordable for my small practice and the interface feels mostly simple, with 24/7 in-browser support.

The production workflow feels a bit clunky to me and I find it ends up increasing how much data gets stored overall.

Among the eDiscovery tools I've tried, this one stands out as the most user-friendly. The developers have managed to offer a rich set of capabilities without making it a pain to actually use them. Most functions are laid out on the main screens, so I don't waste time hopping around menus to find what I need. Plus the live chat for immediate technical help is terrific, it's a real time-saver and super convenient!!

Cons

New software always comes with a learning curve and I've run into a handful of hiccups where I didn't immediately grasp what a particular setting or option would do. Aside from those early misunderstandings though, I don't really have any complaints.

Creating projects and beginning to upload data felt incredibly easy and I was able to get everything started quickly without any confusion.

I've noticed the notification emails sent via Mandrillapp can be slow to arrive because they sometimes end up marked as spam which causes frustrating delays.

No training is required to handle basic uploads and reviews. The system feels very simple and user-friendly. Honestly it all makes sense. The layout stays tidy and uncluttered. I am thrilled there's no program to install which lets me access my work from any location without fuss at all.

Cons

It frustrates me that there's no way to generate a downloadable batch of text-searchable PDFs yet...I know they're working on it. For now I can download the PDF and run OCR in Adobe but I can see that becoming monotonous once I have a high volume of documents to process.
