Pros
Before I started using it, I couldn't find any tool that helped me stay in touch with clients reliably while also tracking my firm's general accounting. Once I got on board with it, I was genuinely impressed by how it kept my files so neatly organized and how flexible it was in letting me handle records the way I prefer.
Cons
There's really little about the program I dislike. The only thing I'd change is lowering the price a bit for teams or multiple users, that would make it even better for us.

“Promising but missing features”
Pros
It offers a wide range of features that, once I fully learn to navigate them, I believe will significantly simplify my workload and cut down on the hours I currently spend on routine tasks. In my experience, logging time and recording expenses is really simple and very user-friendly. Creating new matters and entering contact information works really well too. While my day-to-day role is as a Paralegal, I also handle Business Manager responsibilities, so the accounting and financial aspects are taking a bit more concentration and practice to master. The support staff I've dealt with have been consistently knowledgeable and helpful overall. The fact that two of the three people I interacted with were particularly warm and personable put me at ease and made me feel comfortable experimenting with new features.
Cons
It might still be too early for me to give a fully formed opinion. I was told that certain features would be available and yet some of those capabilities aren't present right now. To be fair to it, that expectation didn't come directly from your staff, it may have been an offhand idea from someone at our meeting and I can't be certain where it originated. Once a couple of issues are resolved, for instance if this tool can generate a truly workable check template so I stop wasting money ordering new checks and if the problem with our 'Role' configuration is corrected, and once I've climbed most of the learning curve, I think my present concerns will vanish, although I wouldn't be surprised to have new questions later on. I have confidence in you younger team members when it comes to fixing things, so roll up your sleeves and get to work! :-)

“Guided learning with strong support”
Pros
It took me a little while to get used to it but I quickly saw how simple the interface is, with plenty of tip boxes and guidance everywhere. There are also training sessions and chat support if I want extra help, I'm really impressed!
Cons
Honestly, I struggle to list real downsides for this case management tool. The one caveat is that I need to spend some time learning it but whenever I get stuck there's always help available to guide me through.

“Powerful document automation”
Pros
The document automation feature is incredible. Once I've uploaded my templates and configured the custom fields, it shaves a huge amount off my drafting time. As a new solo practitioner without a paralegal, I find that absolutely invaluable. Their customer support is wonderful, there's an in-app chat where I can ask a question if I can't find what I'm looking for in the very thorough help center. I usually get a reply the same day, often within just a couple of hours. The help center itself is very comprehensive, offering both video walkthroughs and written articles. I'm also a big fan of the invoice reminder function. Since it's automated, I don't have to keep track or remember to chase clients for unpaid invoices, the system handles that for me.
Cons
I've noticed that several of the so-called "syncing" options aren't real two-way synchronizations. For instance, the Outlook calendar integration only works if you invite your it calendar, it doesn't directly exchange data with Outlook. The same limitation applies to LawPay: when I record a payment inside it it updates as expected but if I send the LawPay payment link straight to a client and they pay that way, it doesn't capture or record that transaction.

“Calendar needs more flexibility”
Pros
It gives me several of the tools I rely on for calendaring and managing contacts. I'm also discovering more about how to apply it to matter management and to use features such as templates, intake forms and similar capabilities.
Cons
I'd prefer the calendar and task reminder functionality to mirror Outlook's because it offers many more customization options and there are times when I need the reminder to be rescheduled to one week or even two weeks ahead.

There's no InfusionSoft integration available through Zapier. Because we rely on InfusionSoft for lead management, we now have to consider a different solution.

Before we adopted it, my firm was juggling a wide array of web-based tools, integrations and miscellaneous applications to cobble together a law practice management solution. Switching to it has allowed our practice to expand by offering a user-friendly interface, strong mobility and the convenience of a single, centralized platform. As a result we've reduced recurring subscription expenses and made it possible for our attorneys in different cities to work together smoothly while staying on top of client matters and case files. I'm anticipating our revenues will grow by roughly 20-30% this year thanks to it's more efficient design.
Cons
While the integration with Box for file management works flawlessly, I'd personally prefer that it develop an in-house document management system.

Pros
My workflow keeps moving without hiccups. It's a single place where I can handle every piece of case information, billing and invoicing and follow up with people who are late on payments.
Cons
My preference is for intake details and contact details to be displayed together on one page so I don't have to switch back and forth. Additionally, there should be functionality that allows multi-client files to act and be managed as genuine multi-client records.

Pros
Color-coding for each office user is a feature I truly appreciate since it makes schedules easy for me to understand at a glance. Scheduling is easy and billing tools simplify payments and trust account transfers in a way that feels reliable and stress-free.
Cons
Really dislike that the calendar doesn't let me search past clients or appointments by name or phone number. It would be so much more efficient if I could type in a name or number and jump right to the entry. Right now I end up opening the client's profile to find a phone number and then returning to the calendar to paste it into the appointment which is an unnecessary extra step. There should be a drop-down that appears after selecting a matter so I can pick which contact number to attach to the booking. On top of that, I'd love an option to increase the on-screen font size, the type can be pretty small on my monitor and makes things harder to read.

As an attorney, I can pull up the most recent case status from anywhere which lets me tell my assistants to reschedule, call a client, or put together a draft for me to review directly within the program. For me, "time" is more than money, it can actually determine whether a client gets a favorable outcome and being efficient often leads to more referrals. everything I need, billable hours, account balances, recent notes, phone logs and key events, is right in the app on my phone or on my home or office computer. it gives me the breathing room to deliver the best legal service I can. It even includes a billable timer that ties straight into the matter I'm working on. Having used Needles and Time Matters before, I find it integrates faster and offers far more functionality. Its layout is simple enough that even someone who's never used legal practice-management software can pick it up quickly, so it works equally well for a solo practice or a large firm.

We found it incredibly simple to install and operate. Our billing process now takes half the time it did with our previous system and our clients are just as enthusiastic about the online payment option as we are! The team actually enjoys using it, some even say it feels a bit like playing a video game. everyone picked it up quickly with only minimal training. We really love this product, recommend it to colleagues and appreciate that it delivers excellent value for the cost!
Cons
I can only have one window open at a time right now which is limiting, I'd like the ability to view the calendar and time entries simultaneously so I don't have to switch back and forth.

Before we started using it, our intake process was completely manual, we were filling out paper forms and tracking leads, consultations and follow-ups by hand, listing each item and adding a deadline to our calendar. Moving to it has been transformative for our workflow: it has removed most of the repetitive data entry we used to do, automates follow-ups and reminders and integrates with all of our payment collection, billing and calendaring systems so everything is coordinated.
Cons
Syncing with my Google Calendar could be a bit faster but so far I haven't run into any major issues and don't really have complaints.

Before we started using it, our setup was pretty rudimentary, an excel sheet to track contacts for conflict checks, a shared Gmail account so our messages would live in one place and to provide a common calendar for scheduling appointments and marking deadlines, plus a Dropbox folder for storing files. even though those solutions were cheap or free, everything felt fragmented and clunky. it brought all of those pieces together into a single, attractive and simple interface. Rather than opening five or six separate apps or websites, we now just log into one platform and everything we need is right there. every module in it is easy and approachable. The whole system clearly prioritizes efficiency and simplicity and the color-coded layout makes it possible to grasp our financial picture in seconds. Creating tasks, adding events and tracking time are all smooth and easy which has made daily workflow much easier for our whole team.
Cons
One thing I'd like to see is the platform linking with a few more services. QuickBooks works fine for me but I think more clearly when using Wave Accounting. LawPay is handy, though adding PayPal would give my clients more options. These are minor things and they don't make me want to switch. What I really value is the customer support, when I leave a message in the chat outside business hours, I usually hear back within an hour. The training videos and searchable help center also help me find answers quickly.

I'm able to log time quickly and send invoices that include LawPay payment links. Creating documents like retainer letters with client contact details is easy.
