Clear task and billing flow

Pros

Using the system feels smooth and I can tell a lot of thought went into how tasks connect with deadlines and billing. everything is clearly laid out which makes it very helpful for my entire team on a daily basis.

Cons

I don't have any major complaints but I'd appreciate more advanced search capabilities and perhaps deeper business-oriented tools within the reports area to better support the practice's administrative and financial needs.

Feature rich with strong value

Pros

I've tried other well-known practice management tools but this tool delivers more value overall. There's a lot I can do with it, from syncing with Dropbox, LawPay and Google Workspace to building intake forms and custom workflows. The mobile app also makes everything more convenient for me.

Cons

there are no drawbacks.

easy navigation with fast support

Pros

This tool is easy to move through and it covers all the areas our office depends on, like client tracking, task management and time entries. I also appreciate that support is available by email and phone and scheduling tutorials for deeper guidance isn't difficult. When the software did act up once, support jumped in quickly and fixed it which really reassured me.

Cons

There is a learning curve with the software, though to my mind that's true of any tool that covers the range of functions we need in this office, so I don't consider it a major negative. Short of finding a program that literally does the work for me, I really can't think of a better solution.

efficient admin support

Pros

From my perspective, the interface, training materials and reliable support have made our administrative work far more efficient. That gives my firm more time to focus on complex case work instead of paperwork.

Cons

Although the time-tracking tool is excellent, simple and sensible, I find switching between matters clunkier compared with specialized timekeeping platforms I've used in the past.

great and reliable cloud start

Pros

As a user, I see this as a great tool that genuinely supports daily legal work. From my side, it handles the basics well and helps keep things organized.

Cons

Since I transitioned to a cloud-based setup, I anticipated some growing pains. Although it is the only cloud application I've tried so far, I'm satisfied with its overall functionality.

One system replacing many tools

Pros

Before switching to it, I was juggling multiple apps just to get routine tasks done. Whenever a payment came in, I had to enter it into QuickBooks and then re-enter it into my legal software. Tracking time accurately was tough and managing the trust account became stressful for both me and my bookkeeper. After reaching a breaking point, I asked for something that could tie everything together in one place. it did exactly that, making it easier for me to track time, money and staff activity without disrupting anyone's workflow.

Cons

I'd like this tool to offer webinars specifically focused on the day-to-day operations of solo practitioners and small firms. Training sessions tailored to what we actually handle every day would be really useful.

Messaging features need improvement

Pros

At this point, I'm feeling uncertain because our team hasn't been able to import data successfully. For more than a month, the product hasn't been fully usable for us which has been frustrating.

Cons

Our in-house messaging doesn't let us send group messages. Because inter-office messages keep appearing and disappearing, they actually advised us to sign up for Slack, yet messaging was one of the main reasons we chose it over other options and that recommendation felt like a workaround rather than a real fix.

everything synced in one place

Pros

Really appreciate having all my matters, tasks and contacts organized in one place. From my experience, the way it syncs with Google Workspace and QuickBooks Online makes daily work much easier to manage.

Cons

As a new user, I've run into a few questions about how to use certain features and how to get the most value from the integrations but the support team has been excellent in helping me get up to speed. That said, I'd really appreciate a secure client portal that doesn't force a second sign-in through Box.com, requiring that extra login feels clunky and isn't the kind of feasible experience clients usually expect from a portal.

simple setup with great help

Pros

Setting up client and matter files along with handling billing has been very easy for me. The system feels welcoming and whenever I hit a small snag, the how-to videos guide me quickly. On top of that, customer service stands out because I can reach a real person almost immediately.

Cons

There really isn't anything significant to complain about aside from the fact that it costs money. I personally feel the monthly or annual subscription is very reasonable given the combination of the software's capabilities and the responsive customer service you receive.

easy mobile time tracking

Pros

A fellow attorney referred me to this and I love being able to record my time on an iPad, iPhone, or iMac, it's really simple to use.

Cons

Don't have any real complaints to share. I do feel we should invest more time working with customer support so our team learns to take advantage of all the software's features.

Highly customizable with expert support

Pros

What impresses me most is how customizable the platform is and how much they focus on the customer experience. The support team has been phenomenal, for example, Ariel Gross gave me training and went beyond answering questions by helping build actual fixes and fine-tuning the software for my firm. That, to me, is the difference between just using software and really getting value out of it. I've tried five cloud-based systems and a few proprietary tools and in my opinion, it is by far the best so far.

Cons

I've noticed templates need to be re-uploaded whenever I want to change them. It would be far more convenient if I could add a template and then go back to edit it without having to re-save or re-upload everything every time.

Smooth migration and stable performance

Pros

The interface is very simple and it does exactly what I need it to do. Switching from my old time-and-billing system went smoothly, the data transfer was handled well. I consistently get to speak with a real person instead of an automated message and I haven't experienced any crashes that required technical help.

Central hub saving hours

Pros

With this tool, I have one central spot to access nearly all client, matter and internal information with a single click. As we connect it to other systems, Panther is becoming a key part of how we run things. Tasks that used to take hours now take just minutes.

Cons

My main problem right now is that the app itself doesn't natively support ACH transfers or formal, structured payment plans. We've been able to work around both limitations for the time being and I was told that the team is actively working on deliberate fixes to address each of these gaps.

Strong integrations and easy billing

Pros

It is very easy to use and it offers excellent practice-management features. It syncs with Outlook and Dropbox and billing and invoicing are simple for me to handle.

Valuable portal with fair pricing

Pros

Big fan of the client portal, the template options, email tagging, LawPay integration and low fees. Because I travel a lot, being able to log in from anywhere keeps me connected and gives constant access to my files. I'm currently working on creating templates and while it takes time, I know it will pay off. Overall, I feel I'm getting good value for my money as I figure out how to make the most of the program and boost my productivity.

Pros

From my perspective, the features are far ahead of anything else I've used and the support team is highly knowledgeable, a major advantage for small business owners. I find it more affordable and a much better application than other options available in my market.

Cons

One thing I'd like is support for an additional accounting platform besides QuickBooks, Xero integration would be really helpful.

One platform for teamwork

Pros

What I appreciate most is managing an entire practice from a single software package. My assistant and I can work from different locations while staying fully connected and she values how it eliminates repetitive tasks so we can focus on higher-value work. It really aligns operations and lets us concentrate on what matters most.

Cons

The accounting software integration could be more polished. I wish I could monitor all my accounts from within the program instead of juggling separate tools, it still feels a bit rough around the edges.

Smart data flow and automation

Pros

One thing that really stands out for me is the thoughtful logic behind how data flows through the program. I've used several other well-known platforms but this one is the best I've come across. It's simple and I'd recommend it for teams who want staff to pick it up quickly. even as a solo practitioner, I find the automation and document assembly excellent. I especially love the Forms generator: I can email a form to a client, they complete it and the responses automatically populate my records, no more manual data entry. Time tracking is simple, invoicing is easy and managing retainer and trust accounts works smoothly. Over time, I've come to trust the program's records more than paper files. It's become central to how I organize everything I do.

Cons

It would be great to have a hefty manual outlining every capability and limitation in one place. The support team is excellent and answers any question I throw at them but I'm the kind of person who likes to read everything and push the software's boundaries myself. I used this tool for a while, then switched to another package that cost twice as much and delivered less. During that time, it improved significantly, so I returned and am very pleased to be back.

early gains toward efficiency

Pros

We're only a few weeks into implementing the software, so I'm still getting it fully up and running but I already see the potential to become much more efficient. Before it, even with a well-organized firm, our growth made it hard to maintain smooth processes. Now, entering data once automatically populates forms and matters, tasks are monitored in the system instead of sticky notes or fragmented lists and all client and matter info is congreatated. Clients have been happy with instant access to documents and the secure portal which makes communication easier. I genuinely believe this platform will help us scale and increase capacity.
