“A reliable but increasingly expensive platform
Pros
It is a stable platform that works reliably. Also the system is fairly user friendly, especially once you get past the initial learning phase. I learned it about seven years ago and it has gotten even better since then.
Cons
The price has gone up a lot in the last few years making it very expensive for my solo practice and I think they should offer a cheaper single user license. Plus I rely on the desktop widget and I much preferred the old version over this new one, which feels easier to mess up on.

“Simple billing!
Pros
Switching over from our old, outdated billing software was pretty easy. The interface is also simple to figure out and you get a real person when you need customer support.
Cons
Figuring out how to invoice a retainer was confusing. Linking clients to the payment portal can also be a bit clunky at times.

“Excellent support for smooth long term use
Pros
Tracking time, creating invoices and its compatibility with Counsel Link for uploads are all very simple. The staff support is also excellent.
Cons
Getting started was tough because of some quirks but the team spent a couple of hours helping me get it sorted. Once we got to accept that first invoice, I have used the same template for countless other matters without a single issue. The support was excellent and I have not had any problems since that initial setup over five years ago. As a solo practitioner, I handle everything myself and despite my lack of experience, I found the whole process to be great.

“The most user friendly time tracker
Pros
The platform is user friendly and easy to use. My favorite feature is search time which lets you quickly check how much time you have logged on a case without generating an invoice. Adding time entries is simple too whether you are on the main calendar or inside a specific matter. The customer support is also the best. Like in this age of chatbots, I am surprised a real person always answers the phone and can even share your screen to walk you through a fix. That quick help creates efficiency and stops small issues from becoming big problems. Plus the cost is lower than that of other clunkier time management tools I have used, so it does not feel like you have to pay extra just to cover the software itself.
Cons
I am still not entirely sure how to log time for a flat fee case but that might be my own mistake. I also wish there was a simple way to stop the bill from being emailed to the client automatically. Plus I like the email system but sometimes I prefer to go over the bill with a client in person first, especially if I think they will have questions, rather than having them see it in their inbox. I know I can just remove the email address as a workaround, but it is a minor hassle.

“Fast, easy and enjoyable to use
Pros
It is easy to navigate, simple to use and fast. Plus I actually enjoy entering my time and using the software. The support team is very responsive too and gets back to me quickly with answers.
Cons
My only real complaint with it is that I cannot print invoices without the payment information showing on them.

TimeSolv is very user-friendly, with a clear interface and easy navigation for entering time, handling billing and creating invoices.
Cons
The downsides are that some of the customization options do not work as I expected and it is not the quickest system to get started with.

Pros
I'm seriously impressed with how effortless it all felt. Tracking my time was simple, organizing case details was pretty easy and generating invoices was surprisingly quick. It just took all the usual friction out of my workflow.
Cons
Only issue I had was with the sales process. I did a demo but then the representative left the company and no one ever followed up with me.

Honestly it's not user-friendly at all. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without an advanced degree in computer science.
Cons
Found the product difficult to use and it didn't really meet the needs of my small business. The learning curve was just too steep.

Pros
Dudeeee the customer service is excellent!! They were incredibly helpful in transitioning us from a system that couldn't export data and we're much happier now.
Cons
Wish there was a simpler way to see a client's full transaction history without having to go through the steps of creating a draft invoice first.

“TERRIBLE!! continued billing after closure
Pros
I don't have any good thing to say now especially considering how "well" they treated me.
Cons
I closed my law firm and retired in March 2024. I notified TimeSolv but they've continued to charge my corporate credit card and have refused to either stop the billing or issue a refund.

“An incredibly easy and wonderful experience
Pros
It is incredibly easy to use and the customer service is very EXCEPTIONAL. We switched to TimeSolv about a year ago after decades on a different system and the whole team is great for all our questions. Overall it's been a wonderful experience.
Cons
I have no complaints. For us it is a huge improvement over our previous software.

I found it simple to learn and I loved that I could easily book a Zoom call with a specialist for amazing support. Sending and splitting up invoices was a pretty easy.
Cons
I used to love that you could directly schedule meetings with specialists on the site. It's a shame they removed that feature, it's much less convenient now when you need help.

Pros
Well I don't recommend it. So please save your time. It is very unlikely you will even make it through the setup process.
Cons
Let me tell you that the company's support team and their ability to resolve your issue are a complete waste of time.
