“Can tailor it”
Pros
Right away, the flexibility stood out. TimeSolv really seems to fit what our small firm needs and the amount of power packed into the application is impressive. It feels like something you can truly tailor to the way you work. I'm still learning my way around it and while the user community is helpful, there are times when I still can't locate the exact answer I need. When that happens, support has been excellent. Even with just a brief explanation, they're able to point me in the right direction and if something isn't simple, they're willing to work with me to make it happen which is fantastic. Their response time has also been consistently fast. I honestly can't remember ever waiting long for someone to answer and if I missed them, I got a callback very quickly. Customer service, flexibility and overall capability are definitely some of the strongest things this app offers.
Cons
phone app needs improvement. It still requires a lot of work. That said I do appreciate that TimeSolv has openly acknowledged the problem and is actively working on it. Admitting it needs a serious overhaul is a good first step and I respect that they're not pretending otherwise. Even better, they seem committed to releasing an improved version. I just hope that update arrives sooner rather than later.

“Took no time to get comfortable with it”
Pros
Running a small shop, we really value how quickly we can put together invoices with TimeSolv. The system is very user-friendly and it barely took any time to get comfortable with it. Whenever questions come up, our rep gets back to us promptly with clear answers. I'd definitely recommend it.
Cons
A few tasks weren't instantly obvious to me at first but the training from our rep was excellent. Any time I've needed additional help afterward, I've gotten a quick and clear response right away.

The application has been very user-friendly. On the few occasions when I needed assistance, the customer service team was quick to respond and ready to help right away.
Cons
The only drawback I've run into is that once time has been logged against a project allocation, there's no way to change that allocation afterward.

It's very user-friendly and the support has been outstanding plus it's all included at no extra cost.
Cons
At this point, I really haven't run into any issues. The only thing we're planning to discuss with TimeSolv is a possible change to the bill format. We've noticed that clients often pay only the current amount shown on the front page instead of checking page two for other receivables that are also due. Putting the remittance page first may be a better option.

“Uncomplicated app and website”
Pros
Getting around both the website and the app feels very simple. It's simple to pull up past client communications or check previous billings from other employees without wasting time. The whole app has a very uncomplicated feel and after a short tutorial, it was very easy to start using comfortably.
Cons
At times, it's hard to decide which billing category something should go under. There are so many categories that certain entries can seem like they fit in more than one place.

Pros
The layout is very simple to work with and copying and pasting for similar billing entries saves a lot of time. Compared with the system we used before, this does a much better job of keeping track of every billable event. It has actually been eye-opening to see how many billings were being missed in the past before we started using this product.
Cons
We really have not run into any issues yet although we have only been using it since October 2017.

The part I love most about it is the abbreviation feature because it makes billing much faster when you have a lot of similar items to enter.

Its very user-friendly, from the overall layout to the drop-down menus. Creating professionally formatted statements in both hard copy and PDF is also a big plus. On top of that, whenever a technical issue comes up, customer support is always available and very quick to resolve it.
Cons
Honestly I have nothing negative to say about TimeSolv. Compared with other billing software platforms, whether online or downloadable, it stands out as the best option.

For the price, this program is incredibly full-featured and offers a lot especially for smaller organizations. There is a bit of a learning curve if you are someone who takes time to adjust to new software, like I do. That said the one-on-one support is absolutely fantastic. Being able to talk to a real person on the phone while they look at your screen, walk you through things step by step and answer questions in real time makes a huge difference. It really feels like having an expert sitting right beside you to teach you. Honestly the support alone would make this worth paying more for but since I work in the non-profit world, I really appreciate that this company offers both the software and that level of help at a price I can actually manage. I would definitely recommend it.
Cons
There is a little adjustment period at first especially if learning new software tends to feel stressful. Once you spend some time with it though, it becomes pretty simple to use.

Pros
From the first time I used TimeSolv, it felt very user-friendly. I can handle more than 95 percent of what I need just by choosing the most obvious option. On the rare occasions when something isn't immediately clear, Support has been quick and genuinely helpful. It's also platform-neutral which is a big plus. I can access and use it without issues on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. Getting comfortable with it takes only a few minutes. One of its biggest strengths is reporting. Report generation is where most data-driven platforms tend to fall apart, often because they seem to be built by technical people who don't really think about how users need information presented. TimeSolv does the opposite and clearly puts user experience first. The reports are actually the ones you need to run a business. That's another area where a lot of software misses the mark: the reports are either unattractive, unhelpful or both. With TimeSolv, the standard reports are attractive, informative and, most importantly, practical and they can be generated with just a few clicks. I've recommended TimeSolv to many of my colleagues who run their own firms and I would absolutely keep doing so. It's simply the best. I tried more than a dozen options pretty much all the major programs out there and this one stood above the rest.
Cons
There are too many different places to adjust preferences. That can make it harder than it should be to fix the data showing on an invoice. It also includes a free document management module but that part feels weaker. Like a lot of software suites since TimeSolv's main strength is time and billing, the additional tools don't measure up as well. There are definitely better document management systems available so we don't use the one that comes with TimeSolv.

Any time I run into a problem, I can reach someone from customer support on the phone within minutes. That's a big difference compared with other companies, where you might sit on hold anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.
Cons
The online manual isn't as detailed or helpful as speaking directly with someone on the customer service line.
