“Quick updates”
Pros
Entering time during the day feels very simple and making edits or updates is quick when needed. I also really appreciate how it tracks my monthly billable hours and shows what the firm has earned based on the time I've entered.
Cons
I do wish the contacts feature connected more closely with the client files.

“Efficient core features”
Pros
Right from the start, the core features you'd want in a time tracking and billing system have been efficient and simple to use. Entering time is incredibly quick and the customer support has been the best I've dealt with in any software so far.
Cons
We're still in the early stages of using TimeSolv so we're working through a few issues to get it fully integrated with QuickBooks Online.

“Excellent experience of 8 years”
Pros
After using it for 8 years, I can confidently recommend it. I run a solo law practice so I handle everything on my own and I needed something very user-friendly and simple to work with. This has been exactly that.
Cons
One thing I'd love to see is automatic invoice generation for clients who make partial payments. If no additional work is done for them that month, you have to sort of work around the system to create another bill. It's not particularly hard but it is an extra step and you have to remember to do it for every client in that situation. I believe there may be an option to send a statement instead of an invoice but I prefer handling everything through invoices at the same time each month.

“easy transition”
Pros
Switching over from our outdated system was pretty effortless with TimeSolv. The platform was quick to pick up, simple to navigate and the support team has been fantastic. They're almost always available when questions come up and it's really helpful that I can book one-on-one time with someone to walk through specific issues or tasks.
Cons
At the beginning, the naming convention didn't line up with our existing client and matter numbers. That said with help from the support team, we were able to make the needed changes quickly and meet our clients' billing requirements.

Cons
Getting around the site doesn't feel very user-friendly. It usually takes a few extra steps to reach the page I'm trying to access.

Pros
Everything feels well organized so it's quick to find what I need, add a time entry or a new client and sync the app to my online account with a single tap. Other time-tracking systems have been frustrating for me because they feel clunky and take too long to enter information but that hasn't been the case with TimeSolv. The dashboard and tabs are arranged nicely and the whole system is very simple to move through and use. It has absolutely paid for itself by helping me capture time that I used to miss.
Cons
Nothing specific comes to mind at this point. I probably just need to spend more time exploring everything it can do.

“Keeps improving”
Pros
Really appreciate how responsive and helpful the customer service team is. When I call, I can usually reach an actual person right away or they return my call very quickly. They also keep improving the product with useful updates and a lot of those changes seem to come directly from customer feedback. On top of that, the program is simple to learn.
Cons
The only downside I've noticed is that spell-checking invoices and adding finance charges feels a little clunky.

Pros
Keeping track of my hours is very simple with this software and it automatically assigns the time to the right client and project while still letting me make edits whenever I need to. The desktop widget is a big plus because I can track time while I work without having to stay inside the browser-based system. Being able to preview invoices with one click is also really helpful. The support has been outstanding, I can speak with a real person and get personalized help even through desktop sharing. I've only needed support a couple of times and at this point I already have almost everything set up the way I want.
Cons
I do wish reports had the same one-click preview option that invoices have. More flexibility for customizing invoices and reports would also be a welcome improvement. There are a few smaller things the system doesn't support yet so I still end up using workarounds in Excel or directly in the PDF. Also, the backup service feels unnecessarily expensive.

It would be more useful if there were a way to export data into other applications. There's also no option to preview the final invoice and once an invoice has been marked as sent, it can't be edited and saved.

Pros
Its very easy to use and one feature I especially appreciate is being able to add private notes to a file that stay off the bill but are still there if any questions come up later. It's also really convenient that I can edit entries either right from the calendar or from the bill and both stay updated together. The timer is another feature I really enjoy using.
Cons
One thing I'd still love to see is a feature that syncs or integrates TimeSolv entries with my iPhone calendar.

The platform is very user-friendly and the billing workflow is incredibly quick. Having both mobile and desktop apps makes it convenient to use from anywhere and the QuickBooks sync is a really useful bonus.
Cons
How payments are assigned to specific invoices could be more organized. The trust accounting feature also isn't very helpful the way it's currently set up.
