Patient support team

Pros

Having my case details organized in the notes section has been really useful and I can also monitor my financial information across several areas of the system. Since it's a cloud-based program, I don't have to stress about losing important data if my computer crashes. The customer support team has also been extremely helpful and patient with the many times I've called for guidance on features I hadn't used before.

Cons

There aren't enough fields for phone numbers or address details. When I'm on one page within a case, it takes too many steps to move to another page in that same case. There's also a bit of a learning curve when it comes to locating payment, escrow deposit and expense charge information. I'm still figuring out how to find time entry data without having to download a batch of older invoices.

Smooth transition thanks to the support team

Pros

Switching to a new system took a little adjustment and I ended up contacting customer service several times along the way. Every time, my questions were answered thoroughly, no one made me feel rushed and the whole process went very smoothly. I was also fortunate enough to speak with Tiann twice and she was absolutely fantastic.

Cons

There are still quite a few steps I have to keep in mind although I'm gradually getting more comfortable with it. Combining multiple projects into one clear, easy-to-follow bill has also been challenging for our team.

Feature-rich program

Pros

The platform is simple to use, has a clean layout and comes with a lot of useful features.

Cons

One thing that would make it better is a timesheet approval function so managers can keep a closer eye on employee activity and make sure billable hours are entered correctly.

Pros

Both the mobile app and desktop version work really well for tracking the time I spend on different projects.

Cons

Lets me see total hours

Pros

Getting around the software feels very simple and entering data is clear and easy. I really appreciate being able to see my monthly hours, the time I spent each day and the weekly totals all in one place.

Cons

We only recently started using the program and honestly I just wish we had gotten it sooner.

Simple to enter timeslips

Pros

Entering timeslips is simple and uncomplicated. Printing both draft and final bills is just as simple.

Cons

Nothing complicated about it

Pros

Everything feels very self-explanatory so getting through daily entries is simple and pulling reports is just as simple.

Cons

While using admin access, I ran into a problem with the assigned rates once. In the end, I had to review all previous entries one by one to correct them. It would be much better if there were a simpler way to handle that.

organized invoicing and quick edits

Pros

It has a user-friendly interface that makes reviewing, editing and processing invoices much more organized. The old routine of printing invoices, marking them up by hand making manual corrections, reprinting and mailing them is no longer necessary. A few clicks are all it takes to update an invoice and email it directly to clients. And if a client doesn't use email, that's still not an issue since you can print the invoice and mail it instead.

Cons

Even though TimeSolv integrates with QuickBooks Online, it generally seems to perform better with the desktop version.

Helpful follow-ups by support staff

Pros

Working with the TimeSolv team has been a really positive experience especially with Ron Reinart, our account rep. He stays on top of everything we ask for and is always good about following up.

Cons

I would still prefer TimeSolv to offer more reporting options especially more advanced reports. We previously used the Timeslips database and I appreciated the flexibility in their reporting. In TimeSolv, the reports are more preset so there isn't much room to customize them.

Pros

Getting into it is simple and the training is easy to follow. Our attorneys can also enter and track their own time themselves which is really convenient.

Cons

Its so easy to use. Saving documents directly into client folders keeps everything organized and the option to customize task codes to match Bankruptcy Court requirements for fee applications is especially valuable.

Cons

Made us more efficient

Pros

Its been very simple. It didn't take long to learn and the reporting tools are user-friendly while still offering lots of different ways to generate reports. It's been really helpful for tracking billing and payments received. Overall It has made our company more efficient and much better organized.

Cons

If I had to point out one downside, it would be that creating the ideal invoice and customizing it exactly the way I wanted was a little tricky at first. I needed some time to figure out which sections the information belonged in and how it needed to be entered. That said it felt more like a learning curve on my end than an actual issue with the software.
