Its amazing how simple the system is to use. Because the program is so easy to use, getting attorneys to log their time has been much easier.
Cons
Our firm has gone through several different programs over time and honestly I haven't run into any downside with TimeSolv. The attorneys have been happy using it.

Getting around the software feels very easy and the tech team has been helpful whenever help is needed.
Cons
The date format is reversed and a few reporting features behave a bit oddly although they're still usable. I'd also like statements to be available the way invoices are.

The pricing setup is simple to follow which makes billing much easier to understand. The Xero integration is also a big plus for me.
Cons
It would be even better with workflow automation or automatic task assignment. I'd also love the option to set separate pricing for attorneys and non-attorneys.

Entering time is very simple and the abbreviations help speed things up even more. When I need to make changes, even once a bill is still in draft, the process is simple to handle. Compared with our previous billing system, ProLaw, this one is much easier to work with.
Cons
Shifting entries from one billing matter to another can feel a little clunky. There are times when something gets entered under the wrong matter or a new matter is opened later and those entries have to be reassigned. A shortcut for that process would make it a lot more convenient.

One of the best parts is how user-friendly the platform is. The free one-on-one support is also incredibly helpful whenever something needs to be fixed or set up to match the way your team works.
Cons
It's a great billing system and the QuickBooks integration is a big plus but it still doesn't offer a way to set flat-fee rates for projects which would be really useful for our firm.

Whether I'm entering time on a laptop, iPad or iPhone, the process feels simple and user-friendly. What really made this the right fit for my firm was how flexible it is when setting up hundreds of clients, each with their own billing templates and billing options. After trying just about every time and billing program over the years, this is the first one that truly handled everything we needed. Reporting is fast and simple and at this point I can't picture switching to anything else. I've been using it for nearly 15 years and I've loved it from the start.
Cons
Not much to complain about. I actually appreciate that it stays focused on billing and invoicing instead of trying to do everything for everyone. The only thing I'm still hoping for is a landscape app for the iPad.

Getting data into it is very simple and doesn't take much time which makes day-to-day use really convenient. I also really appreciate how prompt and attentive the tech support team is whenever help is needed.
Cons
The Trust accounting side is still confusing and hard to manage and the accounts can often end up inaccurate. I'd also like the calendar to have a built-in reminder system.
