Responsive team and helpful webinars

Pros

Setting up and tracking matters in it has been very simple. The automatic reminders do a good job of keeping custodians informed about their responsibilities. The virtual user group sessions and webinars have been especially helpful for seeing how other teams are getting the most out of Legal Hold Pro. The documentation is clear, well organized and includes strong visual screen examples that make the different parts of the system easier to understand. Support has also been quick to respond whenever questions come up. Zapproved seems to pay close attention to customer feedback about user experience and business needs and they act on as much of it as they reasonably can. Digital Discovery Pro has also been fairly simple to work with, even for people who are not especially comfortable with technology. The learning curve was light and users were able to get up and running with reviewing, analyzing and tagging information in a fairly short amount of time.

Cons

It would be helpful to see more examples of best practices from other users. That is not really a criticism of the product itself but it would add value by helping organizations adopt the platform faster and use it more effectively. Legal Hold Pro has a lot of powerful functionality so being able to benefit from other users' lessons learned and use cases would make rollout more efficient. Digital Discovery Pro has not delivered as much value for us, mostly because of the amount of data we manage and the way the model is designed. That challenge has been consistent for us across our use of eDiscovery tools in the middle stages of the EDRM cycle. It has also been difficult for our organization to rely on separate products for Preservation and Collection.

easy navigation

Pros

Getting around the system feels very natural. You almost have to go out of your way to make a mistake which says a lot about how user-friendly it is. Anyone with basic computer knowledge should be able to navigate the site without much trouble. The layout is logical and everything is organized in a way that just makes sense.

Cons

There really aren't many downsides for me but setting up reports for multiple people could be handled better. It becomes pretty tedious when you have to create each report individually. A duplication option would be really helpful instead of having to build every report again from scratch.

Fewer steps, better flow

Pros

It cuts out quite a few "hops" between identification and collection which makes the overall user experience much better.

Cons

It still depends on offline selection and tracking for targeted HD collection and I'd really like to see targeted folder selection become automated.
