“Best on the Market
Pros
If you're aiming to craft an E-Learning course, Articulate is the way to go. It's incredibly straightforward to set up and dive right into, offering customization for any requirement you might have.
Cons
Whenever an issue arises, as it inevitably does with all software, the response time from Customer service isn't the quickest. However, they do eventually get back to you and assist with resolving the issues.

“Instructional Design made easy
Pros
It's easy to use, offers a wide range of functionality, integrates seamlessly with LMS, and facilitates great e-learning scripting.
Cons
I wish there were more training offerings in our country. Mastering the program without an actual facilitator can be quite challenging.

“A modern, clean and refined take on a publishing tool.
Pros
My pros are: 1. Easy to understand and intuitive, 2. Smooth playback of content, 3. Allows for the addition of downloadable templates at any time, 4. Integrates well with other software, such as an LMS, when using published files.
Cons
I'd like to see the option to add more audio, such as attaching an audio file to either image on a slide. Additionally, more timing options would be beneficial.

“A 360 Review for Articulate
Pros
The trial version sets individuals up for success. Upon opting for the trial, you start receiving email notifications from Articulate experts offering guidance and tips. Consequently, you're promptly introduced to the community. The community, ranging from e-learning novices to experts, provides a comforting support network, reassuring you that you're not alone! The product itself presents numerous options for creating learning content suitable for everyone. From a "powerpoint" replica with Storyline to Rise, which offers authors a swift method to craft responsive learning, to screen recording, and much more.
Cons
There's absolutely nothing I dislike about this software.

“Super Storyline
Pros
An outstanding platform for producing web-deliverable, SCORM-compliant materials. Incredibly versatile... there's a moderate learning curve for the advanced functions, but it's not difficult to get started, especially with a decent PowerPoint background.
Cons
It's exceedingly costly. There should be more flexible pricing options available for small businesses or individual users.

“Create a learning course about anything with Articulate 360
Pros
Incredibly straightforward to utilize. No need for hand-holding. It's like the PowerPoint of E-learning courses.
Cons
Maybe the templates make all eLearning courses somewhat similar. There isn't much guidance on how to create a substantive e-learning course.

“Easy to use
Pros
We acquired this as an alternative to Adobe. The interface is intuitive and straightforward. While it may not boast the entire feature set of Adobe Captivate, it still serves its purpose admirably.
Cons
It could expand its functionality to compete with its rivals more effectively.

“Storyline 360
Pros
I admire the templates, RISE, and content library. If you're using it for all new course designs, it would be fantastic. However, if you're using it to update Storyline 2 courses, it presents too many time-consuming issues.
Cons
While the subscription model works well for some, the perpetual payments can become burdensome. We encountered numerous issues when transitioning from Storyline 2 to Storyline 360. Despite following instructions to upload fonts, 360 would randomly alter some text in the course, which was frustrating. So, for now, we're sticking with Storyline 2 since we've invested in multiple licenses. We haven't ventured into Storyline 3 yet.

“A very powerful content creation tool
Pros
It's an immensely powerful tool that empowers users to craft intricate and captivating learning materials. Quizzes, graded assignments, self-evaluations, and more. It's fantastic that it allows for non-linear paths, making interactions more complex. Additionally, it offers excellent export options that facilitate seamless integration with our LMS.
Cons
While the UI is reminiscent of most Office products, making it familiar to users, it's slightly more challenging to get started with due to its extensive customization options, which can overwhelm some users. However, for our English-speaking clients, there's a robust community of Storyline users who are always willing to help. For non-English speakers, getting assistance is a bit more challenging.

“Great for Beginners
Pros
It's genuinely user-friendly for individuals venturing into eLearning/course development. It's prevalent in most large organizations, and the templates are easy to design.
Cons
After the release of 360, character packages are no longer available for purchase, which feels like a tactic to coerce users into investing in the 360 version. Additionally, designing courses for learners with physical disabilities while adhering to AA and AAA standards can be challenging due to limitations in native application functionality.

“Easy to use
Pros
This software is remarkably user-friendly. I managed to train a non-eLearning professional to use this software proficiently in just a few hours. We utilize it for our eLearning modules and to create instructional videos for our LMS training.
Cons
Setting up interactions can be a bit intimidating, but the payoff is worth it in the end.

“Storyline is a wonderful tool for a training developer
Pros
This tool is easy to learn and delivers excellent-quality training animation/interactivity. You can customize it to appear cute or professional as per your preference, and the content library is of high quality and professionalism.
Cons
It's somewhat resource-intensive, even for my powerful computer. When attempting to preview an interaction, there's a noticeable delay after hitting the space bar before the preview loads. While it's a minor inconvenience compared to its numerous benefits, it's worth mentioning.

“A true learning tool with user friendly UI
Pros
The interface of the tool resembles what we experience in PowerPoint, which is its biggest advantage as users are already familiar with it. Users can select based on the required features, and the layout isn't overly complicated to follow.
Cons
Some features, such as lip-syncing characters with text-to-speech, are eagerly awaited. The addition of Hindi text-to-speech and other languages would be a desirable feature.

“Articulate 360 is give us fully responsive courses supported with any browser or any devices.
Pros
As a Storyline developer working with Storyline 3 and 360, Articulate 360 provides us with numerous templates, characters, photos, videos, and icons. It's a powerful tool for creating e-learning courses. We can manage all assets for our projects in one place with the media library, enabling us to swiftly create any type of interactive or video-based course.
Cons
If our files are too large, sometimes they automatically close without saving, resulting in a loss of time and effort. Additionally, the recovery feature doesn't always work properly when reopening the files.

“Best tool for developing any courses and simulations
Pros
The best aspect of this product is its ease of course development; its UI is akin to PowerPoint, and functional triggers are akin to If-Else statements. Moreover, it allows the addition of external code like JavaScript. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.
Cons
It works well on HTML, but HTML5 has some limitations for certain animations like wipe and split. Since browsers are frequently updated, the tool needs to be updated accordingly to remain compatible.

“Needs better instructions for beginners.
Pros
I haven't really found anything positive about the product yet. I attempted to use it to develop courses. Perhaps there should have been better tutorials for beginners.
Cons
The product felt cumbersome, and I couldn't quite figure out how to use it.

“Amazing online user community
Pros
The complete software package is amazing along with regular updates and the incredible online community at E-Learning Heroes. I'm on E-Learning Heroes almost every day for technical support, grabbing templates and finding creative inspiration for course development. Storyline stands out as the top choice for building comprehensive interactive e-learning experiences. Rise is there newest addition and creates stunning mobile-responsive web-based training modules. Studio works as a PowerPoint plugin that lets you build learning content straight from PowerPoint. They've also included a basic video editor, not super advanced but great for combining clips and adding lower-third text plus screen recording features. The media and character libraries are huge too so I don't have to hunt around for royalty-free graphics.
Cons
Storyline crashes during audio editing which can be really frustrating. Rise doesn't have an undo feature and auto-saves everything so when you make mistakes they're permanent and take forever to fix. Since Rise is completely web-based, you can't export or share courses for editing. If your subscription lapses, you lose access to all your work. You also need the pricey Teams account to share with colleagues. Replay is pretty basic and missing key functionality so I end up using Screen-Cast-O-Matic for most video work instead.
