“Easy to learn
Pros
Learning it was not hard. It feels familiar like PowerPoint but offers so much more functionality. I can quickly turn boring presentations into interactive experiences and Honestly the only limit is what I can imagine creating.
Cons
I don't like the bugs that pop up from time to time. The system crashes occasionally. Keeping your system updated with new releases helps minimize these issues and crashes.

“Huge stock photo collection
Pros
The stock photo collection is huge, the tools are really simple and I love that there's built-in audio editing feature.
Cons
The stock images feel a bit cheesy and while the audio features do their job, they're pretty limited in what they can do.

“Adjustable color scheme
Pros
Easy to handle and really user-friendly to work with. I can customize player controls and adjust the color scheme to match our company branding perfectly.
Cons
The software constantly prompts me to register even though I already have. Starting it up is also a bit difficult since it frequently has trouble launching and keeps asking me to run as administrator.

“Constant upgrades
Pros
The interface is sleek and really user-friendly to work with. Support team is incredible and they're always on top of whatever I need help with. They constantly roll out updates to make things better. The course authoring tools are powerful and perfect for teaching concepts, plus it's powerful enough to handle complex projects. Love that I can export as SCORM and TinCan for my LMS integration.
Cons
Feels costly and I'm not a fan of subscription models, though I get why they use it for this type of software. There's no discussion forum feature which would be helpful. The assessment tool isn't very powerful either, even though it looks nice visually.

“Lets me build engaging modules
Pros
The flexibility and customization options here are wonderful! With just this one tool, I can build engaging, interactive modules where everything flows together perfectly. Whatever information I need to share, there are countless ways to present it. I can really focus on how learners will absorb the material best. plus the support site has tons of useful tutorials and examples making it pretty simple to learn and the accessibility features are simple.
Cons
Managing team slides feels unnecessarily complicated. When I upload a project to the team drive, everything gets bundled as one element that has to be downloaded all at once instead of letting me access individual slides. This makes working with team slides more complicated than it should be.

“Would recommend
Pros
It's so easy to use. I'd definitely suggest this to any instructional designer wanting fast course development.
Cons
Haven't discovered anything to complain about so far. Coming from Lectora, this feels as user-friendly as working with PowerPoint or Word. The character library and pose options are great.

“Too costly
Pros
Really easy to pick up. Even our newest team members were creating excellent work right away with hardly any training needed.
Cons
Definitely not budget-friendly. There's an additional subscription fee on top of the regular Articulate 360 package that really adds up.

“Nothing special
Pros
I appreciate having another option for delivering content to my students, though it doesn't really bring anything new to the table that other LMS platforms haven't already covered in their existing features.
Cons
The upload and linking options are pretty limited, which gets frustrating. The main screen feels clunky too. Once you've named a course, you can't add more content to it, only to brand new ones that haven't been created yet. There are other flow issues that make it awkward. plus it doesn't really offer anything unique that competitors aren't already doing better.

“Flexible tool
Pros
What I really like is how flexible this tool is. There are so many ways to develop e-learning content. Having access to all those templates, photos and videos makes creating projects so much easier. The review process has become way more simple and faster too.
Cons
Sometimes I run into bugs when working on more complicated projects and they mess up the completion tracking and scoring in my LMS system.

“Better than Storyline2
Pros
I'm really impressed with how much better this is compared to Storyline2. The review process has been completely overhauled and it's fantastic. Would definitely recommend making the upgrade as the improvements are substantial and worth it.
Cons
I wish there was an option to review just 3 or 5 slides at once rather than the entire scene. It's also frustrating that I can't open multiple files without having to start a new session each time.

“My go-to software
Pros
The 360 suite has been my go-to, especially Storyline and Rise. While Storyline can be tricky at first, students absolutely love the final results. Rise feels more user-friendly to work with, though we haven't gotten much student feedback on those courses yet.
Cons
The interface isn't very user-friendly and there's a real lack of tutorials showing you how to actually build courses. Rise feels more user-friendly but it doesn't have the same level of customization and interactive features.

“Useful free webinars
Pros
Very versatile. I can create assessments, scenarios, import PowerPoint presentations and so much more. Making content interactive and engaging has become much simpler. The free webinars they offer are packed with useful tips, tricks and best practices that really help. plus there's an excellent library of resources and templates to work with.
Cons
Only downside is that there's so much functionality I feel overwhelmed. I'm still figuring out all the features and know I'm barely scratching the surface of what this can do!

“Access to the expert community
Pros
I like having access to the expert community. Being able to ask questions, watch tutorials and join webinars has made learning the platform so much easier. Getting multiple programs like Rise and Peek in one package is perfect for creating engaging content that learners actually enjoy.
Cons
The way some features function really bothers me. The logic behind certain tools feels confusing and minor features don't always behave correctly after publishing courses. I often find myself having to delete and reapply features just to get them working properly again.

“No learning curve
Pros
I've been using this for e-learning development and Honestly Rise has been a game-changer. Took me practically no time to figure out and I'm cranking out quality web-based training way faster than with other authoring tools I've tried. What really stands out is how user-friendly everything is. Not just Rise but the other components too. The learning curve is basically non-existent.
Cons
Can't track who actually completes the training when sending it through Rise via web without an LMS. Really wish there was a way to upload content to Articulate 360 but that option just isn't there.

“Tidy interface
Pros
I find it really simple to pick up and the interface feels tidy. It actually makes training sessions engaging rather than a chore, though it still requires some effort on my part.
Cons
The biggest drawback for me is that it only runs on Windows so I'm stuck running it through a virtual machine on my Mac.

“Kept crashing
Pros
Pretty new to online learning development so Rise has been my go-to feature. Being able to create content right in my browser using simple templates makes everything so much easier for someone just starting out like me.
Cons
My computer couldn't handle the desktop apps at first. They kept crashing whenever I tried to do anything, even though the download went smoothly. The software was just too demanding for my system.

“Needs a PC
Pros
The interface looks really clean and modern. Feels fresh compared to other platforms I've used. Being cloud-based is a huge plus since I can access it from anywhere.
Cons
Only Rise works on Mac since it's cloud-based while everything else needs a PC or PC environment to run.

“Everything at my fingertips
Pros
I love having an entire eLearning suite right at my fingertips. The mobile support in Storyline has been really refined and Rise completely redefined it for me. Being able to develop in Rise from any connected device through the browser is great. Articulate Review lets me share projects with colleagues before publishing to get their feedback and make edits. The content library offers a great selection of stock images, videos and icons. Teams makes managing user licenses across our company super easy. Updates get delivered smoothly through the 360 launcher, which is convenient. It also supports Tin Can/xAPI publishing.
Cons
The subscription pricing was tough to sell to management. Having to budget for an eLearning license annually made things more complicated. SCORM compatibility is always a pain. Whenever Articulate or the LMS updates, something usually breaks.

“Easy to work with
Pros
I've been using Articulate products for years and this subscription really impressed me. Rise is easy to work with, the content library is outstanding and those review features are a great addition. Sure it's not the cheapest option out there but with all the regular updates, new content being added constantly and the ability to publish everywhere with responsive design, my team definitely feels like we're getting good value for what we pay.
Cons
Its expensive. Probably too much for freelancers or solo practitioners to justify. What really bugs me is that everyone needs an Articulate ID just to collaborate on course reviews and most of my technical experts don't want to bother creating accounts.

“Free online content
Pros
The upgrade from earlier versions is really solid, especially with HTML5-only publishing that gives us better future-proofing. I love how responsive the displays look now. What really makes this stand out though is all the free online content. Tons of characters and templates to choose from. But Honestly the web-based review tool has been a game changer for our team. Can't emphasize enough how much that feature has organized our workflow.
Cons
The packaging is my biggest issue. Having its own installer and launcher creates headaches for large corporate deployments. It's manageable but requires way more work than it should. I also really wish there was true responsive design functionality, though I get why that's not available from both business and technical standpoints.
