“Boosted our engagement!

Pros

This program boosted our engagement dramatically. It was the key factor that transformed our training from just checking a box to enabling genuine learning.

Cons

A monthly payment plan would be much better especially for individual users. Plus the annual subscription makes it difficult for anyone not getting it through their company.

“Creates fantastic and engaging courses

Pros

You can create courses that look fantastic and really engage learners. Rise is also pretty simple to learn for quick course building, while Storyline offers a lot more room for customization.

Cons

Some features feel a bit limited unless we dive deep into Storyline which has a steep learning curve. The subscription cost is also quite high.

Storyline 360 is amazing. It lets me be creative every single day which makes my job fun and exciting.

Cons

It can be a bit buggy at times. For example the text-to-speech feature sometimes just stops working.

The platform lets us fully personalize and customize all our learning content for our specific audience. We can also customize it for each of our different employee groups like technicians, managers and leadership.

Cons

We've faced some challenges integrating the platform with our current LMS. Also SCORM files can be problematic, often making it difficult to link and update content smoothly.

It lets us transform training from simple, read-only PowerPoints into an interactive learning experience. I am also really excited to start using the new AI features.

Cons

I feel like it would be great if Rise allowed for smoother audio integration rather than just having a box that the user has to click to play.

We can build e-learning modules that truly make an impact on our learners whether we use Rise or the more advanced Storyline.

Cons

It sometimes feels behind on features that should be standard though I must say they are doing a good job with their recent updates.

“Fast & simple course building

Pros

Building courses is fast and simple. Most blocks in Rise have accessibility built right in and the responsive design is a must have for our sponsors. The interface is also clean and easy to navigate, letting us create professional looking training without needing design or coding skills.

Cons

The formatting options for images and text in Rise blocks feel quite limited. While the new blocks were exciting to see, it is disappointing that they are not fully responsive. That said I would say they did work nicely as custom dividers.

Pros

The online resources and support are so good that anyone can learn to use the platform with confidence.

Cons

When I first learned Storyline, the platform was confusing because my local support person did not provide the online training resources.

This sofware's products have been incredibly useful for creating simulations, branching scenarios and for rapid course development.

I feel like some of the interactive blocks in Rise could use more options for personalizing text.

It is so easy to use, works well with other tools we use and the AI functions and language translation are great! Rise is particularly simple to use with a modern, sleek look. The Review feature is also a fantastic way to gather input from others.

Cons

Storyline can feel a bit clunky and is harder to use. The learning curve is also longer than Rise's and it can be tricky to figure out what went wrong when there is an issue.

Pros

To be honest, this is an essential tool for my work and has dramatically improved our results. Overall the software is incredibly comprehensive, packed with all the information and capabilities needed to enhance learning outcomes.

Cons

This is a bit specific but in Storyline, the first click on an option sometimes does not register. As I often have to click a second time to activate features like adding a text entry or a hotspot.

It is simple for beginners to pick up yet powerful enough for experts and the wide range of interactions also keeps learners actively involved with the material.

Cons

The preview feature can be a bit slow and publishing sometimes takes longer than I would like. This is a minor point though and does not overshadow what a great product it is.

All the tools are so user-friendly and the AI assistant is fantastic for helping us create and polish course content.

Cons

My account rep does not always reach out and sometimes they change without any notice, leaving me to contact them for help. So it would be nice to have regular check-ins, even if it is just once a year.

The customizability is a huge plus. We can seamlessly pull Storyline content into a Rise course and the block tool makes it easy to apply our company's branding everywhere.

Cons

The customizability in Rise is overall great but it would be better if we could freely reformat text alignment. Having the option to left-align or center text, as well as choose fonts within existing blocks, would be a significant improvement.

Pros

We can develop course content that reaches many types of learners. Plus the new AI advances also help us build courses much faster.

Cons

There are no animated characters to help narrate content which I feel like would really boost user engagement and it would be great to have more interactive elements like that.

i feel like AI features could use better standardization right now using the AI forces us to stick with its provided theme template.

I love Articulate 360 because it allows me to build interactive and creative learning platforms that truly draw trainees in. This engaging approach makes it much more likely they will actually remember what they learned.

My only issue is my own lack of knowledge. My job requires a lot of travel so I do not get much office time to explore everything the programs can do.

The versatility is my favorite part. No matter what kind of learning experience I imagine, I know Articulate 360 has the tools to make it a reality.

There is a definite learning curve at the start and proper training is a must. While Rise 360 is easy to pick up, but in my experience tools like Storyline need more time and training to master.

Pros

I'm a big fan of it!!! it meets all our accessibility standards and is so easy to use. I became an instructional designer by accident and using it along with their trainings and webinars has taught me so much. The staff is also very responsive whenever I have questions or run into problems.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. It works very well for me, my organization and everyone taking our courses. Thank you.

Pros

The seamless user experience is the best. I especially love using Articulate Rise and Reach. In fact I have convinced two different companies to purchase Articulate Rise.

Cons

Well the desktop apps are not very accessible. So I feel like it would be great if they were all web-based or available as a native Mac download without needing a virtual machine.
