“Highly intuitive and easy to navigate
Pros
Articulate 360 especially Rise 360 and Review 360 is highly intuitive and easy to navigate. It provides high-quality resources and tutorials that genuinely help users grow their skills. The user community is also an invaluable resource for sharing expertise, which has been essential for both troubleshooting and developing my own abilities.
Cons
Storyline 360 requires a significant time investment to learn and is not as easy to navigate. Overall its tools are not as user friendly as the ones in Rise 360.

“simple for developing training content
Pros
Developing training content is so simple. Plus storyline is perfect for creating beautiful, interactive videos that really capture attention.
Cons
One thing that bugs me is that storyline 360 is not natively compatible with Mac. As an artist who became an Instructional Designer, my workflow is slightly hampered by having to use it through Parallels.

“incredibly easy & ai-powered
Pros
The platform is incredibly easy to use. Building classes and curriculum is simple too and the AI tools are great for adding extra quality and support.
Cons
Juggling the multiple platforms can be complex. I feel confident with Storyline but I struggle more when using Rise and Reach.

“Professional course creation
Pros
Putting together online courses feels simple with Articulate 360. Rise 360's templates let me drag, drop and customize everything in minutes and Storyline is there when I need more complex interactions. You can go from an idea to a finished, professional-looking course all in the same day.
Cons
I highly recommend Storyline 360 especially now that it is available for Mac. Plus being able to build interactive, custom courses directly on my laptop has made it much easier to keep up with fast-paced changes.

“user-friendly tool
Pros
It is so user-friendly. All the features are simply amazing and we can start creating right away even with no prior experience.
Cons
Some products in the suite are trickier to use than others. We also wish there were more customization options available in Reach 360.

“Game-changer for course feedback
Pros
Course creation is not an issue anymore. The Review 360 feature is especially useful for getting quick feedback and approval from subject matter experts and managers.
Cons
Getting the margins and spacing to behave can be tricky sometimes. The small, medium or large padding options are okay but I would prefer more precise controls, similar to what Canva offers.

“Very user-friendly
Pros
The platform is very user-friendly. As a new user, I was pleasantly surprised by all the detailed tutorial videos available.
Cons
As a new user it is a bit tough for me to pick out a specific dislike just yet. I need to get more familiar with the app before I can really answer that.

“surprisingly easy course creation
Pros
Creating engaging, interactive lessons is very simple. Importing PowerPoint presentations into Articulate is also a smooth process as I am able to do it in no time
Cons
The learning curve is pretty steep but the online tutorials and training materials are a big help. Since I am the only one at my organization using it, I am figuring it all out on my own.

Pros
The interactive elements are the best for keeping our learners engaged. We also like how Articulate continuously improves its products. Plus the AI features and the accessibility checker are amazing tools!
Cons
Getting started was challenging but there are lots of helpful resources online especially on the E-Learning Heroes website.

“Easy to build modern content
Pros
Building modern, clean-looking content is so easy and the interactive blocks are definitely my favorite feature.
Cons
It is frustrating that Storyline does not have a native app for Apple computers. I have been trying to get a Windows device to use it but it has been difficult.

“Truly unmatched flexibility
Pros
The flexibility of the products is truly unmatched. Anytime I need to contact customer service, the team is always incredibly helpful and friendly.
Cons
Storyline can be quite complex. I really wish there was a simple, step-by-step guide for building out a full course.

“resource-rich design experience
Pros
Articulate 360 ease of use and the Review 360 feature are the best. Transitioning from PowerPoint was seamless too and the built-in asset library is a huge help, saving us from having to outsource graphics.
Cons
While I use a lot of the built-in graphics, my own screenshots sometimes do not stay where I put them when I drag them in and GIFs do not work very reliably either. My current workaround is to create short videos in Camtasia and import those instead which works much better.

“A comprehensive yet simple tool
Pros
It is a comprehensive yet simple tool for creating compelling content. Rise is perfect for my current workflow while Storyline offers great room for professional growth. The E-Learning Heroes community is also amazing and I love the direction the company is heading.
Cons
There is so much packed into Storyline that it can be overwhelming to understand all the features. That said they do provide a lot of helpful content right in the help menu and on their support site.

“Modern & user-friendly
Pros
The design is quite modern and user friendly at the same time. The AI options are powerful too and there are lots of quick e-learning modules for reference.
Cons
Nothing that I dislike. However just remember that Storyline does take some time to learn but it is definitely in line with modern learning trends.

“Love the creative freedom
Pros
I love the creative freedom it gives me for designing interactions. The variety of templates is great and the AI image creation feature is a favorite of mine.
Cons
Rise does not give us enough options for text and picture boxes. I feel like there should be more flexibility when you are working with an image and text together.

“Simple and fast
Pros
Rise is so easy and fast for creating content. On the other hand Storyline is also much simpler to use for eLearning than competitors like Captivate.
Cons
umm it does not let us save a custom color palette which makes it tedious to stick to our brand colors.

“User-friendly and versatile
Pros
This tool is user-friendly, versatile and packed with extensive features. Our content has become more engaging which has helped improve knowledge retention.
Cons
The AI feature in Rise has a few limitations. Also I feel like the voice-to-text function would be a really helpful addition.

“Great for powerful projects
Pros
Having the option of Rise is great for building fast, web-based and polished courses, while Storyline is more powerful for creative, code-based projects. Review 360 is perfect for consolidating all your feedback and Reach 360 is incredibly useful for sharing content without needing a separate LMS.
Cons
Storyline can be a challenge because it's code-based and requires an understanding of variables and if-then statements. Layers are powerful but do add complexity. However mastering it is incredibly rewarding as you can build amazing, interactive experiences like escape rooms. Rise, on the other hand is perfect for organizing content into bite-sized blocks, though the font selection is too limited. Plus I feel like it would also be great to have matching, sleekly-themed job aids to go with the courses.

“Perfect for all skill levels
Pros
It perfectly caters to all skill levels, with Rise being ideal for beginners and Storyline offering the deep creative control that more experienced users want.
Cons
Some of the blocks in Rise feel a bit limited and I think a way to set a default theme would also be very useful.
