Pros

I liked how easy it was to see what I was missing and to check my grades for the assignments I completed.

Cons

I could not save any attachments, which was a major drawback. It would have been nice to go back on my computer and review things I might have forgotten.

Pros

CANVAS has been very important for me during college. Its intuitive design allows me to check my grades, review assignments from professors and access all the necessary tools to stay on top of my studies. It was also useful when I tutored high school students which allows me to check daily assignments and syllabi for upcoming tests.

Cons

A minor annoyance with CANVAS in the past has been dealing with professors who were not fully onboard with it. Sometimes, assignments and syllabi were missing. The portal is only as good as its users, and this applies to students who did not check the portal daily.

What I like most about CANVAS is the alerts for new assignments or due dates.

I find the excessive notifications from other students commenting on discussion boards overwhelming.

It might lack advanced features compared to other professional design software (but thats not a problem for me). Also, there is no offline version available.

At first, I was overwhelmed with too many emails but once I figured out how to manage communications from my school and teachers, everything improved significantly.

Organization is very very important for doctoral school and CANVAS supports me by keeping everything very neat. I can separate and organize modules into different subsets, add external links to the tabs bar for easy access and much more.

Cons

I truly have nothing negative to say about CANVAS. I have used many other organizational apps and CANVAS has been the easiest to use and the most organized with the fewest issues.

I find CANVAS easy to navigate and learn even for those who are beginners with technology. The navigational tabs are very helpful and the development of the agenda is very useful.

Cons

It does not save your work. If you start typing and leave to come back later, it wont save what you had previously typed.

There is nothing I dislike in particular but if more than 30,000 students are online taking quizzes simultaneously, it can get bottlenecked.
