“CSOD Getting Better Every Year!”
Pros
I really appreciate the constant quarterly improvements to this application. Users have no complaints, which is a huge plus for us supporting the app in our organization. The application is extensive, with always something new to learn or a better way to do things.
Cons
There is not much negative to say about the application. One improvement I'd suggest is increasing the character limit when creating groups. While it may seem trivial to some, it's crucial for us since our groups can be quite large. Exceeding the character limit when creating a group is frustrating and could be addressed in future releases.

“Full of Features to Streamline Your Business”
Pros
There is a wealth of features to streamline business processes. We frequently use the reports feature, and our employees find CyberU, the training course catalog, immensely helpful for having numerous options readily available.
Cons
Figuring out how to perform specific tasks is not straightforward. The instructional videos provided are not very helpful, and while the Cornerstone Support Center's help feature is useful, finding relevant information requires precise searching.

“Cornerstone is a wonderful product”
Pros
I enjoy the multitude of functions this system offers, I can handle everything from evaluating employees to posting classes for them to register in.
Cons
I wish the instructions were a bit simpler to navigate. All the necessary information is there, but it takes some effort to locate. And that might require a minute :)

“Best LMS/LXP out there”
Pros
I have encountered numerous products, but CSOD stands out as one of the best. Its logic and functionality are coherent and intuitive, and the regular improvements always bring excitement and enthusiasm to the team. If you are seeking dynamic software capable of handling various learning experiences seamlessly, this is it.
Cons
GPS - it is struggling. Developers tend to test live with early adopters and clients... they truly embrace Agile in that aspect. GPS is undergoing changes, and while it has improved significantly in the past 2 years, there's still a lot of work to be done.

“You can find more for cheaper”
Pros
This software performs precisely as intended, effectively organizing courses and distributing them to learners.
Cons
This software comes with a hefty price tag. There are many other options available that offer better value for money. Once you commit to an LMS, switching later becomes challenging.

“Efficient SaaS tool, used since more than 8 years”
Pros
It is an efficient and comprehensive learning solution, continually introducing new features in recruitment to outpace the market average. The implementation, carried out by Cornerstone and an integrator in 2010 and 2015, offered dedicated points of contact: one for commercial and one for technical aspects, along with security role management.
Cons
There are still delays in getting support answers (~2-3 days). Waiting for feature improvements to enhance administrative actions within the system.

“I love the ease of the program”
Pros
Using this program is a breeze. As a facilitator, I had to manage various tasks like assigning training, reviewing, rating, pulling reports, and much more, and everything proved to be remarkably straightforward and uncomplicated.
Cons
I have not encountered any problems with this program. It did take some time to transition from a sales representative user to a facilitator administrator within the system, but I believe that was an internal issue.

“Cornerstone Recruitment Module”
Pros
The software adapts well to our business needs and is not overly complicated to use. Most of the screens feature modern designs, although some could use updating. The workflows are flexible, ensuring a smooth navigation experience.
Cons
The support provided by the helpdesk could be more efficient. It would be beneficial to have the option to share screens in real-time to address issues or discuss potential improvements.

“makes staying on time simpler”
Pros
Keeping up with required courses is pretty simple with Cornerstone. It's easy to use for completing trainings and that really helps when there are penalties for missing deadlines because it makes staying on time much simpler.
Cons
Looking up completed trainings by date gets frustrating. After opening one completed training to view it, the system doesn't take you back to the same page which makes checking the dates for several completed trainings more tedious than it should be.

“updates make things clear”
Pros
It can handle a lot and the scheduled updates are communicated well ahead of time which makes it clear what's coming next.
Cons
It wasn't really built around the way our business wanted to use it. We've had to adjust our internal processes to fit the system instead of the system adapting to how we work.

“Centralized training and powerful reporting”
Pros
Having all our training records in one place has been a big advantage and the reporting features are excellent. The move to Reporting 2.0 has taken a while but that's mostly because our supervisors were so used to the old reporting module and haven't had much time during their busy days to learn the new process.
Cons
Completion approvals really should allow a specific entry field instead of being limited to "first level manager," since in our case the people handling training approvals are often trainers rather than managers.

“Useful for events and reports”
Pros
Cornerstone has been really useful for custom reports, instructor-led training events, tracking and assignments. Those features cover a lot of what I need and make it a strong system overall.
Cons
One thing that still needs work is the withdraw option on the ILT roster. If someone withdraws from one event and then attends a different session, the completed session does not clear the withdrawal from the active tab. Because of that, the due report can end up showing incorrect withdrawals.

“moving toward a full-service model”
Pros
Getting thousands of users to actively engage with the platform, sign up and complete training has been a real achievement. It's now happening consistently across a large user base. Another thing I appreciate is that the platform is gradually moving toward a full-service model which is reducing the need for separate projects.
Cons
Learning how the system works from a configuration standpoint can take quite a while especially when it comes to understanding all the tricks, options and different possibilities available.

“Offers a wide range of learning content”
Pros
Navigating it feels very easy and it's simple to find a wide range of learning content. The admin side of managing learning is also simple and easy to work with.
Cons
The reporting piece isn't nearly as user-friendly as the rest of the system. On top of that, importing historical data from previous platforms is honestly pretty painful.

“Feature-rich and always improving”
Pros
Beyond just tracking learner training, the platform offers a wide range of useful features. I also appreciate the variety of LO types available, along with the regular updates especially since many of those improvements seem to come directly from client feedback.
Cons
I'd still like to see online help that's more focused on completing actual tasks instead of just telling you to fill in certain fields although that area is improving. We've also run into some difficulties with programs and cohorts but since I'm not the main admin for those, I can't really tell whether the issue is with what we're trying to accomplish or with how those features work.

“Customizable learning suite”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is how customizable the Learning Suite is. It can be tailored to create a more personalized experience for users which makes it much more useful.
Cons
What I don't care for is the lack of flexibility in customizing the Learner Home with widgets or similar tools. If you want the interface to look or function differently, you have to involve another company to make those changes and that's frustrating.

“Top-tier learning platform”
Pros
It really feels like the benchmark for LMS and performance management platforms. The content subscriptions are packed with strong options and the data moving through the system is genuinely valuable for tracking and managing employee learning.
Cons
The reporting side can be pretty complex and getting admins fully up to speed takes a lot of training.

“Valuable learning opportunities”
Pros
It has been really useful for building a learning product that offers training opportunities to both employees and external customers.
Cons
There are still a lot of smaller issues that need attention and fixing them would make the system simpler to use and easier for people to adopt. Unfortunately, those items never seem to make it into the quarterly updates.

“Solid platform with depth”
Pros
There's a lot this platform is capable of and I'm still uncovering features that fit very specific needs as I go. Reporting 2.0 has been a really valuable improvement and we're excited to see what additional enhancements come next.
Cons
At the same time, getting everything under control can feel like managing a circus. There are so many interdependencies and "if this, then that" scenarios that a lot of it only becomes clear through trial and error. Access and control have to be given very carefully to people who truly understand the system and building that level of knowledge takes a significant amount of time. Security role management is especially confusing and time-intensive. Figuring out what the hundreds of individual permissions actually do, how they should be limited and how to group them into the right roles is a huge effort and the basic guidance we received during implementation just wasn't enough for what we needed.
