“certification module needs work”
Pros
The user interface looks clean and modern overall. Their client support site is also very strong, with lots of training resources and forums where administrators can talk through issues with each other.
Cons
The certification module feels unfinished and doesn't match the rest of the LMS very well. We rely on that functionality because we operate in a heavily regulated environment but we keep running into problems for both end users and admins. Since it's an optional add-on, a lot of customers don't use it so it doesn't seem to get much attention or priority for updates. On top of that some other administrative functions are unnecessarily complex. It feels like Cornerstone is putting more energy into expanding products like HCM and Analytics and refreshing the interface, while a lot of the core functionality still needs serious improvement.

“Decent standalone LMS”
Pros
As a standalone LMS, it does a solid job. If that were the only thing I needed to focus on, it would probably work just fine.
Cons
Where it falls short is in integrations, reporting and SLAs which are basically missing. For instance, we use SkillSoft courses like many enterprise clients do but they didn't really seem to know the best way to use those courses to separate training by employee roles.

“boosts engagement”
Pros
One of the best parts is that our employees can finish their training whenever it works for them and at a pace that fits their schedule. Since Cornerstone is also available on mobile devices, we've noticed they're browsing and engaging with far more content than they ever did with other learning formats.
Cons
I'd still love to see a bigger selection of books and TED-style talks. Even though the library keeps growing, this is still an area where our employees regularly want more options.

“Good but outdated”
Pros
As one of the major players, it boasts extensive experience and expertise in creating a learning platform. Ideal for established organizations.
Cons
Managing effectively does not come instantly, it requires time. It demands an LMS admin, a resource that many new LMS platforms lack. Moreover, it is quite costly, making it unsuitable for small organizations.

“Ahead of the curve for L&D”
Pros
Cornerstone has been focused on the LMS space for a long time and that experience really shows. They seem to be ahead of the curve in a lot of their thinking, while still taking into account the day-to-day realities and practical needs of L&D teams.
Cons
The interface could feel more polished and a bit more up to date.

“Too many clicks everywhere”
Pros
Honestly there is pretty much nothing positive to say. The application is missing so much that there is really nothing good worth mentioning.
Cons
Getting to a course takes far too many clicks which is frustrating from the start. On top of that, after finishing a course, you have to figure out how to navigate back just to sign it. If you upload videos, there is also no way to control or track who has watched them.
