“Learner home is a game changer”
Pros
Learner Home feels much more user-friendly and visually appealing as a landing page option. The AI features are excellent too and the playlist functionality has been especially valuable. Right now, we're using it to highlight on-demand training related to remote work and share it with employees through our Remote Work Tips website but we're also planning to expand it to showcase approved, recommended topical training, along with books and other relevant resources. It's been a real game changer for us!
Cons
At this point, I really don't have any complaints and am excited to keep exploring more ways to promote our instructor-led programs on the Learner Home page as well.

“provides automated daily reports”
Pros
I really appreciate how permissions can be assigned across nearly every part of the LMS. You can define each user and then fine-tune or even redefine exactly what they're allowed to do, what they can view and what they can report on. The reporting is another big plus. Reporting 2.0 really raised the bar and provides automated daily reports packed with a lot of useful data.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the platform takes a pretty steep learning curve even for people who already have experience with systems like this. It can take quite a while to really understand how Cornerstone works and even after that, it sometimes feels like you need visual cue cards just to remember the steps required to get from one place to another. Because of that, stronger support is really necessary. The community feature can be helpful for finding answers but you often have to dig around a lot and know the exact search terms to get anywhere. Customer support is nearly nonexistent unless it's a very small issue and bigger problems can take weeks or even months to be resolved.

“Complete solution”
Pros
After looking at more than 30 LMS platforms, Cornerstone came across as one of the most complete and capable options in the group. The system is extremely powerful and offers a huge number of features and configuration choices which made it feel more well-rounded than many of the other platforms we reviewed. Beyond the platform itself, the content partner network Cornerstone brings to the table also feels hard to match. We are still wrapping up our initial implementation and will be choosing content soon and although we are evaluating several suppliers, what Cornerstone offers will be tough to overlook.
Cons
Being one of the biggest vendors in the space has its trade-offs. We are a small to mid-sized company in the construction and utility infrastructure industry, with a workforce made up mostly of blue-collar employees and we have run into a few challenges around e-learning and how to roll the system out effectively to our teams. We have managed to work through most of the questions and issues that came up but getting to a solution has not always been fast.

“Flexible landing page customization”
Pros
One of the best parts is how flexible the landing page customization is especially when using user metadata. It makes it much easier to tailor the experience to different users.
Cons
admins currently have to configure Events (Courses) in several different places. I understand CSOD is already working on improving this so I appreciate that.

“Solid product overall”
Pros
Cornerstone is a solid application with a wide range of training options available.

Using it from both the learner and admin side has been a really positive experience. It's simple for end users, the content feels well curated for learners and it's also simple to manage from a system administrator's perspective.
Cons
there isn't anything I dislike about it. They keep improving the platform and adding updates that better support all of a learner's needs.

“Easy to move about”
Pros
Its interface really stands out and feels very user-friendly for our employees. It's user-friendly enough that people can usually find their way around without much trouble which has been a big plus. There are also plenty of options for online learning, including videos, materials and interactive e-learning content.
Cons
On the admin side, though, it can sometimes be difficult to navigate. There are multiple ways to complete certain tasks such as creating training items and while it's good that the system tries to meet different client needs and offer lots of options, that same flexibility can make it harder to understand the right process. Reporting 2.0 is also fairly complicated right now because there are so many permissions involved. Some of them are linked together so if one connected permission is missed, the one you actually need may not work properly.
