Pros

Honestly I find it incredibly easy to use and even when I can't quite figure something out, their support teams are phenomenal and jump in to help! Where else can you literally click a button and have it turn into an integration? The platform is clearly designed with real thought.

Cons

Downside? Honestly none after working with Cypher for almost a year I haven't found any. They act like fantastic partners and genuinely and consistently support me every step of the way.

Pros

I've found NEO LMS to be by far the easiest LMS for schools to use. The interface is very aligned and each tool explains itself so there's little learning curve. The task-to-do panel made managing work much simpler and the announcements tool was extremely effective at spreading information quickly and clearly.

Cons

In my experience the subject mappings are locked and can't be changed directly, while Organizations can be created or removed as needed. Subjects only get adjusted through a Terminology workaround which feels clumsy for instance the inclusion of a 'space program' subject that most schools won't actually offer.

Pros

This platform includes a variety of built-in activities like several quiz formats which I find easy to set up and grade.

Cons

One frustrating limitation I run into is not being able to add multiple calendar dates in the attendance section and I also notice the HTML editor feels sluggish and unresponsive at times.

I'd say the gradebook is hands down the best feature of NEO because it allows students to monitor their progress in real time, they can see their scores for every assessment they complete, whether it's done onsite or online. Equally helpful is the gradebook's export capability which I find extremely convenient as an educator. It lets me export the grades into a file, quickly copy them and transfer them straight into our class record. That process then automatically calculates each student's final marks, saving me a lot of time on manual computations.

Cons

Honestly there's not much I dislike NEO LMS meets the needs of teachers, students and even parents. That said I occasionally run into weird deadline glitches: a task will state it accepts submissions until 11:59 pm, yet it refuses to accept work submitted at 11:45 pm or 11:50 pm. Those inconsistent cutoff behaviors can be frustrating when students think they still have time to submit.

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about NEO is how flexible it is when I build my curriculum, from auto-graded homework quizzes to larger assessments. I can tailor each student's path, for instance, I can let them retake a quiz and choose whether they answer every question again or only the ones they missed before. It's simple to make a whole unit self-paced, or to design lessons that we go through together during class time. Pulling questions from test banks, permitting late submissions for selected students, awarding extra credit and adjusting assignment weightings are simple and easy. The NEO LMS team listens to feedback and keeps rolling out new features that improve the experience for both teachers and students.

Cons

Sometimes I ran into trouble when students tried to upload files for an assignment. Occasionally I couldn't access those documents unless students placed them in a shared folder for me. I also wish I had the option to annotate students' PDFs directly inside the platform instead of only entering comments in the text box because marking up the work itself would have made my feedback much clearer and actionable.

For me it helps teachers greatly in supporting learners with their modules and exams.

I notice it frequently logs out of the server and some features don't work.
