Featurerich but needs improvement
Pros

The is highly functional with many features that are readily available. It is not a software with only basic functions rather it offers a wide range of capabilities. You can perform most customizations on your own without the need for consulting services as almost all settings are accessible. Additionally content delivery is fast especially in Europe and there are numerous customization options to achieve a visually appealing system. We had a great experience with EduBrite during our first implementation project. They completed the work quickly and accurately. EduBrite offers public and private support forums as well as regular change logs. Their pricing is also very competitive. EduBrite's Openlearning offering is unique which is a standout feature that we highly recommend. The system itself is quite powerful and can accomplish a lot.

Cons

The system's functionality is focused more on allowing users to buy courses from a catalog than on providing a library of courses. The use of course and program sessions instead of just courses and programs provides more flexibility but requires additional administrative work. It's important to understand how this setup works and how it can affect your business. For instance if a user completes a course session it's only remembered for that particular session and not for the entire course. In certain situations you may need to resort to imperfect workarounds as there may not be a perfect solution available. Although Openlearning's functionality is impressive it is not fully integrated with the rest of the system which creates some challenges. For instance statistics and reports are distributed separately between Openlearning and the rest of the system. Additionally it takes some time to learn how to work with the admin side of the system and some settings seem to have been hastily placed without careful thought on where and how to position them. The documentation regarding advanced settings can be insufficient at times and the support answers may also fall short. Instead of providing helpful solutions the support staff might simply state that a certain action is not viable. It would be more beneficial if they suggest alternate workarounds or recommend modifying the process to achieve the desired outcome.
