“Clear timestamped comments

Pros

Being able to add timestamped comments to videos my students upload helps clarify exactly what each remark refers to and I let them leave timestamped feedback on each other's video submissions in the same way.

Cons

I find the file size limit for videos frustrating because my students record themselves teaching and struggle to upload their lessons, due to privacy constraints they can't publish via YouTube so more often than not they must split recordings into multiple segments, a task many of them aren't familiar with or able to do easily.

I found that using a rubric together with timestamps allowed me to pinpoint and correct where the signing needed adjustment.

Cons

One issue I notice is that it should support creating two distinct rubrics when evaluating dialogues between two people.

“precise pinpointed feedback

Pros

I love that I can leave pinpointed feedback showing exactly where a student did something well or made a mistake and because they can see the precise spot I'm referring to it really clears up any confusion.

Cons

Setting up each class and creating a master class is somewhat fiddly and I find that it adds a layer of complexity that makes organizing everything a bit more difficult than it needs to be.

Pros

The platform�s simplicity really stood out to me. I was able to score submissions quickly and without any hassle.

I found the tool overall easy to use, although a handful of the submitted videos were somewhat hard to make out and I suspect that those clarity issues came from the students own recordings rather than the platform itself.

Pros

Logging in to watch student interns and offer real-time feedback is incredibly easy and I really value that I can return to the session recordings later on whenever something's unclear or I want to double-check a detail.

Cons

I haven't experienced any issues or drawbacks with this tool, so I don't have any complaints to raise at this time.

What I appreciate most are the visible time stamps and the different feedback options, since they let me pinpoint exact moments in a recording and leave more focused, useful responses rather than vague comments.

It frustrates me that whenever a PDF is embedded in a recording I can't fast-forward through the video which makes reviewing longer submissions more tedious and furthermore, when a student attaches a PDF slideshow to their recording neither they nor I can download a single file that contains the video with the PDF included as part of the recording, so I can't easily save or share the combined material.

“ASL feedback that improves skills

Pros

When I give feedback in ASL, it lets my students really work on and refine their skills, particularly the non-manual markers, so they have a clearer path to improvement over time.

Cons

I'd like there to be a dedicated video file for each student so they can track their progress from the first ASL session through the final class and there should also be a way for students to share that file with their instructor, currently, I've noticed that it deletes all files when one semester ends and the next begins.

Pros

I really liked how easy it was to set up my course which saved me time and hassle. Being able to pull up my student teachers' videos and leave comments on each individual lesson made providing feedback much easier and far more specific.

Cons

Overall for what I needed the platform performed very well and met my expectations without any major issues or hiccups.

The platform's video and scripting capabilities are strong and I appreciate that it lets me save, edit and come back to projects later without losing progress.

I find there are far too many university markers involved and because each assessor follows different scoring rubrics I'm left confused and uncertain about how my work will be judged.

I find it genuinely simple once I understand the basics, although it took me a little time to get comfortable with how it works.

In my experience, the design assumes that everyone grew up with technology which makes it frustrating and exclusionary for people who didn't have that background.

Using it has been incredibly easy and whenever I run into an issue the support team gets back to me promptly and professionally, always patient and willing to help.

I don't have any complaints, I genuinely like the software and haven't come across anything worth criticizing.

I couldn't get it to work because my Apple MacBook Pro's camera refuses to rotate to an outward-facing position.

Cons

After several attempts, I discovered my MacBook Pro's camera only captures the screen-facing view, so I couldn't actually use the app.

“Easy navigation for symposium

Pros

For our statewide CAMP symposium, I found the platform incredibly easy to navigate and very effective, it's simple, quick to pick up and provided an excellent environment for interaction among attendees.

Cons

Honestly I couldn't find anything about it that bothered me it's a easy, well-designed platform that's pleasant and simple to use for our needs.

“Two-way teaching visibility

Pros

The biggest advantage for the student teachers I mentor is that they can see exactly what I see. This lets them review their own teaching while using their own notes or responding to my feedback. That two-way visibility is powerful, they're not just stuck with my interpretation of the lesson. They can compare my observations directly with their own, making their reflection much more concrete than a vague guess about what happened. I also really value being able to create our own custom markers for the specific skills we're focusing on or to match our official assessment rubrics. This flexibility helps me prepare them for real classroom realities while they're still teachingand it directly supports their readiness for performance assessments like the edTPA

Cons

There are just two improvements I would love to see added first, some sort of integrated auto-correct or spell-check within the comments area because I type fairly quickly while watching lesson videos and inevitably make typos, yet the platform doesn't catch or correct those mistakes, so having that functionality would save time and make feedback clearer. Second and this one is more important for the candidates themselves, I wish they could trim clips during the submission or review process, I'm not asking for full editing capabilities but rather a simple way to cut out unnecessary portions of a recording as needed which would be especially helpful for compiling evidence for edTPA.

“Smooth LMS-ready teaching tool

Pros

As an educator, I find it incredibly convenient and easy to use for both teachers and students since it brings a more personal, human touch to online learning and integrates very smoothly with LMS platforms such as Canvas.

Cons

However, grading is frustrating for me because the rubric panel is tiny and cannot be enlarged and that fixed, cramped rubric screen makes it a real pain to navigate criteria while I'm trying to grade.

Pros

I really appreciate having this as an additional piece of observational material to support my evaluations of student teachers, since it provides useful context and evidence when I'm assessing their performance.

Cons

One major frustration for me is the inability to pull up previous comments from past and current student teachers which would be really useful for tracking progress or preparing referralsbecause of that limitation, I usually copy my feedback into a Word document and print a hard copy to keep on file for future reference. On top of that, the initial invite process and logging in are consistently difficult and it often takes several attempts before I can finally gain access which is time-consuming and annoying.

For me I find this software incredibly simple to navigate and it provides an excellent space where I can upload, submit and share my videos effortlessly.

Cons

I sometimes find the interface a bit unclear and not very self-explanatory, so there are certain features and workflows I really have to struggle with and spend time figuring out.

Pros

Using this product has been fantastic for my daily work with both teachers and students and I find it incredibly simple to navigate when assigning and reviewing sign language projects, I appreciate how easy it is for my students to submit their assignments without having to juggle additional recording tools. I also value that I can give feedback to each student either as a video or typed comment which makes responses more flexible and clear. Creating rubrics in this tool was likewise fast and uncomplicated for me saving time and making assessment smoother, so, thanks!

Cons

It would be helpful if, when I'm recording as the teacher, there were an option to use a virtual background whenever I don't have a physical backdrop, having that capability would give me and others an extra alternative to rely on in those situations when we need a cleaner or more professional background.

this became an excellent way to send a recording to my supervisor for their assessment and feedback.

I think the interface could be made somewhat more user-friendly, since a few of the navigation steps felt tough and slowed me down.

Pros

I've found that it's really simple for students to upload their videos and I appreciate being able to set up assignments in Blackboard while having grades sent automatically from this tool into BB which really aligns my workflow and saves time.

Cons

My students frequently struggle to attach documents or other files when submitting assignments and I've often had to intervene to help them troubleshoot the upload process.
