“Quick access to student submissions
Pros
For my classroom needs, it's incredibly simple to access for both myself and the students and I can quickly locate each student's video submissions, watch them and reply directly to their individual responses without any fuss.
Cons
I honestly can't spot any drawbacks at this point since the interface is simple, easy to use and makes navigation feel effortless even when I'm multitasking.

“Real-time collaborative commenting
Pros
I'm really pleased that my students and I are able to leave comments directly on videos as they're playing in real time which makes feedback immediate and encourages collaborative discussion.
Cons
Because I only use the platform for a limited set of tasks, I haven't really come across any problems and it satisfies my specific need for students to upload videos of their teaching so they can receive detailed feedback from both instructors and classmates.

“Simple interface :)
Pros
What I appreciate most is how simple the interface is because I have so many ways to enter information and I can instantly review and respond to comments the moment they appear.
Cons
What frustrates me is that I need to switch between different applications whenever I want to locate recordings which breaks my workflow and adds unnecessary steps.

“Online Grading Feels Awkward but Works
Pros
For me I find the tool really handy because it connects easily with Blackboard and exposes useful features that simplify course workflows.
Cons
I hate grading oral presentations through an online system, since it's awkward and impersonal but when I'm compelled to do so this platform actually works well enough and makes the process tolerable.

“Real-time classroom observation tracking
Pros
When watching a student teacher interact with their students, whether they're lecturing, leading a small group, or simply supervising the whole class, I'm able to record observations in real time at the exact moment something happens and then return to that precise timestamp to type my notes, when the teacher later watches the review they actually see themselves performing the behavior I referenced as they read my comments which I think is the real beauty of the program because it lets me point out things that need correction as well as identify moments that are exemplary and should be celebrated or woven into future lessons.
Cons
I do, however, miss the face-to-face connection that comes from an in-person, eye-to-eye evaluation and that lack of direct personal interaction is the only drawback I feel this program has.

“Virtual interpreting classroom tools
Pros
As an instructor, I've found the platform to function as a virtual simultaneous interpreting classroom, offering multiple booths and useful tools like broadcasting and recording video clips which made it a practical alternative teaching model during the pandemic, I also value that it enables me to provide time-coded feedback and comments.
Cons
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the software and haven't experienced any problems significant enough to change that opinion.

“Need richer editing features
Pros
I appreciate that this tool lets me leave comments directly as I watch a video which makes feedback much more immediate and contextual, the subtitle option also helps when audio is weak or when I need to double-check what's being said. In addition, I can create or use extra symbols and tags to shorthand particular skills and important rubric notes which aligns how I mark and reference key points.
Cons
For me the tool would be far more useful if it included richer editing capabilities comparable to Google Docs, Acrobat PDFs, Kami and other great editorsbecause features like highlighting, bolding and underlining would let me more precisely annotate and emphasize the parts of a presentation that matter most. At the moment, I end up having to retype or transfer my video comments into a separate, better-formatted document in order to capture the specific rubric elements and make the notes coherent enough to follow during review with a presenter which adds extra time and friction to the workflow.

“Useful for giving feedback
Pros
I like that it provides tools for giving students feedback, since it allows me to annotate, comment and guide their work in a way that's easy to manage and useful for their learning.
Cons
On occasion uploads take much longer than I expect and I find myself fighting technical glitches that interrupt my workflow and become pretty frustrating.

“simple and easy to use
Pros
After I spent some time practicing with the software and getting comfortable with its interface and features I found it became really simple and easy to use.
Cons
I believe the recording's date seemed to be absent from the file, though I might be mistaken and overall I wouldn't alter much about the software's setup or functionality.

“Instant video comment feedback
Pros
I find this tool really simplifies giving prompt feedback because it lets me insert comments directly while watching the video which means teachers can immediately identify the exact moment a remark was added and understand the reasoning behind it.
Cons
From what I've heard, uploading videos can be a real pain because the process feels clunky and in many cases, simply fails to work as expected.

“boosts teaching and learning
Pros
From my perspective, this tool significantly improves how I teach and how learners engage, boosting the overall teaching and learning experience.
Cons
I run into a frustrating upload cap in my experience files or sessions seem to be limited to less than forty minutes which complicates sharing longer lessons or recordings.

“Comfortable student recordings
Pros
For my courses, I've really enjoyed using this tool since students quickly become comfortable recording themselves for discussions, teaching demonstrations and presentations and it also allows them to post videos where classmates and instructors can leave real-time comments on those submissions.
Cons
I don't have any downsides to report from my perspective and whenever we've run into issues with the codes required to integrate this tool into our Canvas courses, our IT staff have been able to obtain the necessary information and resolve things promptly.

“Easy for supervisors and candidates
Pros
We're finding it to be a very easy platform that our University Supervisors and Teacher Candidates can use without much difficulty, although we are still only at the early stages of rolling it out.
Cons
I've found that generating the motivation to actually implement the system has been difficult and before customer support provided initial printed guidance on how to get started, several of our supervisors became frustrated.

“Uploading documents can be tricky
Pros
I've found it's a reliable substitute for on-site observations and adding users is easy, while the inclusion of a timestamp to record each action was something I desperately needed.
Cons
For me uploading documents and posting comments has been tough and unreliable, so I often struggle to get attachments or remarks uploaded smoothly.
