What Is GoReact?
GoReact is a cloud-based tool used to review video submissions in education and professional training. Students record practical tasks and send videos to instructors for assessment. Instructors can set their own criteria with customizable rubrics and leave comments on individual submissions. The software also provides information about speaking pace and the use of filler expressions, giving students specific aspects of their performance to revisit. It is suited to courses where practical skills are assessed through recorded work.
What Is GoReact Best For?
GoReact is known for its Time-Coded Feedback function. This function lets instructors and peers' comment on specific moments in a student’s video. Feedback can be added as any form such as text, audio, or video. Students can go directly to the part of the recording being discussed and make necessary tweaks. This is useful for reviewing presentations or other kinds of clinical work and communication exercises.

GoReact Use Cases
Based on GoReact’s features and its focus on video-based skill assessment, these are the main situations where the software can be a good fit:
Corporate Training Teams Verifying Skills After Role-Based Training
Training teams can ask employees to record role-plays, presentations, and other exercises after completing role-specific training. Trainers can review each recording against defined criteria and leave comments at the relevant points with GoReact. This evidence of how well employees apply training in practice is more valuable than relying only on course completion or written tests.
Sales Organizations Coaching Employees On Customer-Facing Conversations
GoReact lets sales managers review recorded calls and practice sessions without being present each time. Managers can leave notes on parts of a recording that need attention. Sales reps can then return to those sections and see where their delivery could improve. The platform also tracks speech patterns such as pace and filler words to help reps prepare for future conversations.
Healthcare Organizations Assessing Practical And Communication Skills
Written tests do not show how a healthcare worker handles a procedure or speaks with a patient. GoReact lets staff record these activities so an instructor or supervisor can watch them later. Evaluators can use rubrics to assess the recording and leave notes at relevant parts. This gives instructors a way to review practical skills when an in-person assessment is difficult to arrange.
Organizations Providing Ongoing Coaching For Distributed Employees
Managers working with employees in different locations may have limited opportunities to observe performance directly. Recorded practice sessions give coaches material they can review before a development discussion. Employees can also return to the recording and comments when working on the same skills later.
Workforce Training Teams Evaluating Hands-On And Technical Skills
Some workforce programs need employees to demonstrate procedures, equipment use, or other hands-on tasks. Trainers can review recordings of these activities with GoReact and assess how each task was performed. Rubrics can be used to check the work against set criteria, with comments added to the relevant parts of the video. This can help when trainers need to assess a larger group without observing everyone in person.
Is GoReact Right For You?
GoReact focuses on video assessment for practical skills. Educators and training managers can watch recorded demonstrations and review how a learner handled the task. They can also leave comments on the recording. The 60-day free trial includes full access without a credit card or contract.
Learners record their work and submit it for review. GoReact received a Tech and Learning Best of Show award at ISTELive 2023 for practice, recording, sharing, and instructor feedback.
GoReact is a better fit for programs that assess people through demonstrations and observed work. It is less useful for training based mainly on written exams or course completion.
For education customers, GoReact states that it is COPPA and FERPA compliant. Videos are private by default, and administrators can control access. The company also states that it maintains SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and uses encryption and other security measures for video and user data.

GoReact Features
Time-Coded Multimodal Feedback
GoReact lets reviewers add text, audio, or video comments to particular points in a recording. Employees can select a comment and move straight to that part of the video. This helps trainers explain what they noticed and connect the feedback to the relevant part of the performance.
Live Review
Live Review lets reviewers add feedback while a recording is taking place. The comments line up with the video timeline, so trainers, managers, or coaches can note observations during demonstrations or practice sessions. They can then review those comments with the recording.
AI Comments And AI Markers
GoReact’s AI tools can create comments and mark specific behaviors within recordings. Trainers can use these markers as another reference when assessing performance. They can then decide which points are relevant to the assessment and where additional coaching may be needed.
AI Metrics
AI Metrics examine communication patterns in recorded videos, including pacing, filler words, hedging words, and pauses. Trainers can look at these results alongside their own assessment to discuss communication habits. This can be useful during presentation training and other professional skills programs.
Searchable Transcript
GoReact can create searchable transcripts for supported video recordings. Reviewers can search for particular words or phrases and move to the related point in the video. This gives trainers another way to find relevant sections, especially when reviewing longer recordings.
Customizable Rubrics
Customizable rubrics allow organizations to set the criteria used to assess recorded performances. Trainers can create standards based on specific skills or competencies and apply them to assignments. This provides a common basis for grading employee training, coaching, and development activities.
Peer And Guest Review
GoReact allows organizations to invite peers or external reviewers to assess selected recordings. These reviewers can leave feedback as part of the assessment process. This can support peer learning, specialist input, and outside evaluation when an internal trainer is not the only person reviewing the work.
Reports
GoReact features reports covering areas such as engagement, feedback activity, and progress. Training teams can use this information to review participation and development within their programs. Managers can also refer to these reports when following training and coaching activity over time.
Activity And Progression Templates
Activity and progression templates allow teams to reuse training activities, progressions, and rubrics. Instead of setting up recurring exercises from the beginning, organizations can use an existing structure for new programs. This can help keep assessment methods consistent when similar employee development activities are repeated.
Multi-Camera Support
Multi-Camera Support lets GoReact record from more than one camera angle. Reviewers can switch between views when assessing presentations or practical tasks. This can help when one camera does not show the employee, workspace, equipment, or other parts of the activity clearly enough.

“transforms remote teacher mentoring”
Pros
With this tool I can watch my student teacher's lessons and give targeted feedback using a rubric aligned to the Teacher Performance Expectations which makes evaluating specific competenci s easy because it removes geographic constraints, I can support and mentor candidates remotely and I'm genuinely enthusiastic about it.
Cons
There aren't any real complaints from my perspective, although I've worked with Edthena before and I tend to favor the level of customer support and the overall simplicity of that platform's interface which I find easier to navigate.
