Slow website, broken features and the worst customer service I have ever seen.
Slow website, broken features and the worst customer service I have ever seen.
Pros
Learnyst is predominantly user-friendly, and the highlight is their website builder. I was particularly impressed with the utilization of Bevy in their front-end design. Additionally, it's convenient to integrate lead forms.
Cons
Dealing with customer service is an absolute nightmare. The level of support I've received is the worst I've encountered in a long time. The representatives are unhelpful, fail to address the questions asked, lack knowledge about their own technical tools, and most frustratingly, they never apologize or admit when they don't know something. At one point, I was so fed up that I resorted to contacting their customer support team team. Each helpline person gives conflicting information. For instance, I had my SSL set up with Learnyst for a year without any issues, but suddenly they informed me that they no longer provide SSL and I have to purchase it from my domain provider. It's incredibly frustrating to interact with the support team as they fail to explain things clearly, leaving you feeling helpless. The backend of the software is extremely confusing. It requires extensive research to find basic options, and the poor documentation further compounds the problem. This issue arises with various functions, such as adding a custom domain, integrating pixel, or editing content. The content creation page is slow and prone to lagging and crashing, which often necessitates restarting the process. Overall, the user experience is unintuitive. I'm also dissatisfied with the appearance and usability of the student's learning page. It looks unprofessional and navigating between lessons is challenging. Moreover, there is limited customization available on the course curriculum page.
