TalentLMS site is simple, easy and very practical for online training. It offers more flexibility and is better suited for professional training models across all target categories.

I have not faced any major issues with using this site for creating digital courses though a common critique is that it does not perform well in terms of customization.

“A great user experience

Pros

TalentLMS intuitive interface makes it one of the best LMS options I have ever come across. With features like Stripe payments and a well thought out design, everything is easy to learn. I also like the free trial for up to 5 students. The pricing is competitive and depends on the number of students and the UI and UX are top-notch.

Cons

I wish they include an attendance system similar to Moodle in the future.

Pros

TalentLMS is fairly easy to use though I found that handling training ourselves was more effective.

Cons

I was frustrated to learn that their support group either cannot use phones or simply does not have them. Plus, after paying I was informed that they do not manage SSLs and blame it on a supposed third party provider. It was a miserable experience.

“The best Cloud LMS Software and Professional Online Learning Platform

Pros

TalentLMS is an amazing platform where I can create and build courses from scratch. I can also use my existing training materials. I can design unique courses and share them with others. My team can easily access training on both desktop and mobile devices, and setting up training takes just a few clicks.

Cons

This platform is excellent for learning from experts and includes some of the best quizzes. As an instructor, I find it perfect for creating courses. With the features and options available its ideal with no noticeable drawbacks.

“Scorm-compliant, flexible and robust LMS

Pros

After evaluating more than a dozen LMS systems, I chose TalentLMS for its flexibility, well-documented APIs and SSO capability. Since we are integrating training into our portal, we needed users to access training modules on demand and in response to triggers within our system. The ability to host our own domain, integrate SSO and transfer data between the LMS and our system was important along with SCORM compliance.

Cons

Overall the system could use an overhaul of the Administrator UX. Navigating through the ecosystem is complex and often confusing with workflows that seem to loop around until you get lost. Its a very complex system which is impressive but not intuitive to navigate. Even with an experienced guide it took some time to figure out.

I find the administrator functions easy to manage and the own landing page mirrors our website. Its user-friendly but offers a lot of functions.

No complaints. Everything is functioning very well at this early stage.

“Easy to use and very reliable

I have been using TalentLMS since 2019. The software is user friendly, includes all the necessary features and operates well. The wide ranging product documentation is helpful and the support team responds quickly to individual queries. There have been two webinars with useful tips in the past two months. The app allows offline learning and the latest update offers more user specific adjustments for the homepage.

Cons

The offline app does not fully reflect whats available in the online LMS. There are also limited options for individual structuring.

Pros

TalentLMS provides a suite of robust features and is quite easy and intuitive for both learners and administrators. Overall, it offers the best value for money in my opinion.

Cons

My biggest issue is with the eCommerce side of things and I hope the TalentLMS team is working on more robust solutions. Since we offer an all-access subscription model, I currently have to manage eCommerce through both our regular website store and the somewhat limited eCommerce options within the platform. While this is not a deal-breaker, its definitely an area for improvement. Having multiple configurable purchase and subscription options within the platform (like payment options A, B, C, D, etc.) would be a huge value add.

TalentLMS is pretty easy to use and the SCORM integration is key for us.

I am happy with all the features available so far.

Pros

I find the UX and UI to be good. It includes groups, branches and categories. I also like the ability to set up our domain and logo. The website is responsive.

Cons

Well I am unsure if we can set a course to be free with a payable certification. I do not need it right now but it might be necessary in the future.

“Everything you need from a LMS

Pros

TalentLMS supports a broad range of file types, including SCORM, PPT, PDFs, YouTube videos and even text with images. I can group my students and track their performance. The gamification feature is also fantastic.

Cons

The custom reports feature generates very nice infographic-style reports but the information provided is somewhat limited. The advantage is that I can always export the data to Excel.

“TalentLMS - a great solution for bringing learning online to customers

Pros

I find the software easy to work with and simple to deploy. One of the key features for us is the ability to create separate branches for our clients. I can customize these branches to meet our clients needs and setting them up is quick and simple. This responsiveness to client needs has been a big plus. The customer support has been excellent throughout our two years of using the product.

Cons

I am having a hard time finding anything to add here. One minor thing is that I would like the option to turn the gamification feature on or off at the branch level.

TalentLMS is not complex and easy to set up and maintain and most importantly it is affordable.

Cons

I am still encountering some bugs, likely due to Android updates with question banks. I did suggest considering ways to upload question banks without needing additional tools. I did also prefer having the option to rename the mobile app to customize it for individual organizations using the app.

“Easy, streamlined Training Software

Pros

I really like how easy TalentLMS is to use. I can upload documents from our food safety manual easily and create tests at the end of each training module to ensure that both new and retraining staff are competent in our processes. Since our food policy program requires annual retraining for all staff, the results export to Excel function makes managing our paper trail a breeze.

Cons

Since we mainly need to upload information, set tests and reset progress annually, I have not found any faults for our organizations needs.

“Fantastic LMS for the Price

Pros

TalentLMS offers a wealth of customization options which includes a personalized landing page. I mainly like the automation and notifications, which are not typically available at this price point. I even managed to set up a custom domain. I successfully migrated over fifty video courses and tests from our previous LMS on my own within a couple of weeks. TalentLMS provides three times the features of our old LMS at a much more reasonable price. After thirty years in high tech management, I can say this was one of my best decisions.

Cons

The key feature I am waiting for is the ability to issue a certificate after completing a group of courses. Currently we get around this by issuing points for completed courses. When the points reach a certain level, an admin is notified and manually issues the certificate. Its not ideal but since our training volume is low, this workaround is manageable.

Pros

Customizing learning with videos, tests and assignments was essential for me and TalentLMS made it very easy. The platform lets me track my clients learning progress, so I can schedule conferences at optimal times, update materials as needed and introduce competitive challenges. I was thrilled when they added a homepage feature which allowed me to integrate my original website with TalentLMS.

Cons

The only issues I am facing is with the homepage that I cannot add video content yet but its not a major issue.
