“Scalable from Free to Enterprise with support at every step
Pros
I loved how user friendly and quick the implementation was. As content creators, we managed to upload our content and use nearly all the features within just two days. The look and feel of the platform are great and its simplicity, along with the variety of content types, keeps things fresh and engaging for learners. As an admin, I have excellent visibility into user activity which is perfect for tracking and auditing the learning journey. Since we provide compliance training, the ability to easily customize certificates to match our brand and language is a huge plus.
Cons
Sorting fonts and pasting text into the system can be a bit tricky at first. However the support is excellent and the system seems very much customizable. Other WYSIWYG systems I have used at a similar price point often have limitations where they simply say you cannot do that. So far, every problem or request I have had has been addressed with a custom piece of code to paste into the system within 24 hours. I did not expect this level of service for $120 a month!

“A quick implementation with Talent LMS
Pros
Impressed with how quickly we set up our training system. Within just a few days we had courses created and users assigned. I also liked the affordable pricing which allowed us to dive in and start testing without any stress.
Cons
Sometimes moving between modules can feel a bit too much but with time you get used to the system.

“Employee Learning at its BEST with Talent LMS
Pros
I love the user interface of TalentLMS. Its user-friendly even for employees who have never used a computer before. Creating new courses is quick and simple with any media format.
Cons
We have specific requirements for each employee job title. Even though its easy to assign the courses but I need to work outside the system to determine what percentage of required courses they have completed excluding any elective courses.

Pros
Its very easy to use and configure as I managed to set up most of the system within just a few hours. The FAQ support is excellent.
Cons
If I had to choose something it would be the minimal customization options on the course catalogue page. It displays everything a potential customer needs but I have no control over how it shows the course lists specifically the bundles.

The features are excellent, highly customizable, and very easy to use. The comprehensive online help is a bonus which makes it an exceptional value for money.
Cons

Pros
Creating courses from existing PowerPoint training materials is simple. I found it easy to set up tests with various types of questions.
Cons
When we started 2 years ago we tested using it for our online webinars but it did not work as well as the standalone webinar platform we use now. It might have improved since then.

Pros
TalentLMS consistently rolls out quarterly updates that enhance the features and usability of their product. They have kept the pricing affordable even with significant updates. Its easy for our learners to use and administration and reporting are quite good.
Cons
Certification management needs further improvement. I have not yet figured out how we will handle re certification if requirements change from the original. Its also difficult to get the certificate ID number which is important for storing data outside of TalentLMS. Currently, my workaround involves manually loading a PDF preview and extracting the ID from the PDF as its the only place its implanted naturaly. Reporting has improved over time but could still benefit from better cross-object reporting and filtering based on additional criteria.

“Simple-to-use platform for a commercial product
Pros
We use TalentLMS for our commercial curriculum which serves thousands of learners from about 100 clients. It nicely supports isolating each customer in their own "branch," where they have their own admin and manage their users. The primary reasons I chose TalentLMS were its simple UI which requires minimal training for both customers and learners and the mobile app that allows learners to complete modules offline. The customer support has exceeded my expectations. When we had an issue we could not pinpoint (whether it was the LMS, browser or authoring tool), the team went above and beyond to help us troubleshoot. Setting up new branches is quick and simple and bulk import is user-friendly. Most of our teenage learners say it doesn't even feel like "learning" with the app. We and our clients love it. When we add large new clients, we need to increase the seats on our subscription, and our customer service rep has always been helpful and responsive.
Cons
It would be helpful to have more robust survey functionality. We currently have to create courses that link to Survey Monkey for some of our learner self assessments (eg questions with two answer: How would you have rated yourself before this program and how do you rate yourself now? It would also be beneficial to create custom learning paths or prerequisites for the same courses by branch without duplicating a course. The self registration and course purchase feature does not function in a way that we can use.

Pros
One of the standout features of TalentLMS for me is that it does not require any installation, upgrades or backups. All features are easy to use with the available guides. TalentLMS offers the best blended learning experience. Once we uploaded our courses to the TalentLMS portal, its been quite useful which allows us to access course contents from anywhere in the world.
Cons
I think the payment method for each category could be better as its a bit difficult to understand.

Pros
Its very easy for me to use and get familiar with the features. Our students, mostly children aged 8-15, love the gamification aspect and earning certificates and badges.
Cons
Creating our courses is somewhat time consuming. It might be due to our approach but it would be nice to see a preview of previously uploaded images for easy selection and reuse.

“Well thought out tool
Pros
The whole setup is really well designed. Courses, groups, quizzes, everything flows nicely. Getting our team to actually use it wasn't a struggle at all, which says something. You can tell they've learned from having tons of users because everything just works smoothly. It has all the functionality we were looking for.
Cons
The text editor feels a bit clunky compared to other options out there. I'd really appreciate a better WYSIWYG editor or maybe the ability to switch to a different one. What they have now works fine but it's not as smooth as I'd like it to be.

Pros
Gets easier once you realize you need to switch between different roles depending on your task. Simple to add courses, just drag and drop your files and you're done. The platform handles SCORM packages along with regular file formats, which gives you flexibility.
Cons
The 100MB video limit is way too restrictive. I ended up creating a YouTube channel just to host videos and link them back, which feels like a workaround rather than a real solution. Even upgrading doesn't seem to increase this limit. Support is pretty limited too unless your on the premium plan with 500+ users, no live chat or phone support, just email which isn't great when you need quick answers.
