“Great features but slow support

It's been helpful for organizing all of our different training materials in one place.

Cons

The technical issues are not resolved fast enough and I find it a real challenge to get ahold of someone from support.

“The tool is almost perfect

I really value that it offers both internet-based and in-person classes. Grouping my staff by their job roles is simple which makes assigning the right training to each team incredibly simple and easy.

If I had to pick a downside, it's that the system does not send me an alert when staff finish their online assignments. I have to manually go in and look up each person or course to check their status.

What's really effective is how simple the computer-based training is to navigate. And the 'Test Your Knowledge' quizzes keep you engaged and participating.

A few of the training modules lack the depth needed to properly cover a subject. The new system feels more awkward and complicated than the previous version we had.

TrainingToday provides huge selection of available classes which is my favorite part. Like isnt it great ?!! that you have a massive number of courses to pick from!

For the admin side of things, pulling reports used to be simple but now the process is a bit more of a hassle.

It is so simple to use that we can find our way around without any instructions. We also love the option to build our own custom courses.

The one tricky part is checking on progress without generating a full report. I really miss having a simple button to view everyones recently finished training like we did in the old platform.

Nothing to like as all the testing is consolidated into a single spot, whether you are logging in as an administrator or for yourself which is not ideal.

My employees and I both find the navigation pretty confusing. The login session expires too quickly and the message we get when it happens is not clear.

Sending out training and pulling reports is a simple task now. It speeds up monitoring how employees are progressing and the library of available courses is top-notch.

Our move over to BLR was smooth and they sent our Scorm files to us promptly. Their pricing is also reasonable and the material covers all the necessary topics for our team.

I am pretty sure one of the quiz questions had an incorrect correct answer. It asked if management would be forced to act differently if a woman was subjected to hearing about men's exploits in the workplace.

It was very educational and straight to the point. Plus the content provided was vital.

Going through it took a lot of my time but it was definitely something we needed to do!

Creating a password was a bit frustrating, the system made me create a completely new one.

I really like the training modules that use PowerPoint.

The support team is not supportive at all. They won't let me configure my yearly refresher training and I cannot get any assistance from anybody. I am also locked out of updating my own courses that were moved over from the previous BLR system. Overall the whole platform is difficult to use.

The content was quite detailed. However there was no certificate available at the end, with no explanation given to us and no way to resolve the issue.

I noticed there is no certificate available for download, even though the course shows a completed status.

TrainingToday offers detailed information on the basics of Aid and Response procedures which includes how to handle common scenarios found in most workplaces.

Some of us work alone for 8 to 12 hours a day, so I think self rescue procedures and responses would be useful. also it would be helpful to know how to assist someone remotely such as gathering location or injury details that could aid in managing a rescue. Since we often work solo and have a lone worker status update program, training on remote rescue procedures might be beneficial.

Some of the media in this training seemed excessive. Not everyone in my position, not directly involved in laboratory work, might find it overwhelming. It could be beneficial to tailor the tutorials separately for those working with chemicals and those who aren't.

There is an excellent variety of training courses available, with a wealth of practical knowledge. The transcripts often contain additional information that might be missed during casual listening. While the questions require some note-taking, it is not overly burdensome.

Completing a class once seems to lock in the completion status permanently. Even when a company mandates annual retakes or updates to courses, there's no mechanism to reset the completion status. This could be improved to ensure employees stay current also certain features like the display of 'x' tags and language filtering need refinement.

I found it challenging to set up reports to gather necessary information. Thankfully, the customer service team assisted me in automating the process.

It was disappointing to find out that the test offered after completing boot camp was identical to the only practice test available outside of it. In short, there should be another practice test with fresh questions to better prepare candidates.
