“clean UI, pricey limitations”
Pros
The search works well, the interface is clean and being able to add GIFs to articles is a nice touch. It's also helpful to have reminders showing how much of the training each employee has completed.
Cons
The cost is a downside and exporting documents still isn't handled in a very useful or convenient format. They also used to let you edit images inside the app by adding arrows and boxes to highlight important sections and now that feature is gone, creating new training materials has become much more difficult.

“fantastic for onboarding teams”
Pros
Having this in place has been a big help for our team and the support has been excellent whenever we've needed it. The time you put into setting it up is definitely worth it once everything is running. It has been really useful for managing the business and handling onboarding much more effectively.
Cons
One thing that comes up is how often the platform changes so at times it feels like you have to learn parts of the system all over again. That said, their support team is consistently available to assist and there are plenty of online tutorials to help along the way.

“team learning stays organized”
Pros
Trainual's employee management has been really helpful for our team. It keeps everything organized in one place so we can work together better and quickly catch up whenever we need to review stored information or subjects we're supposed to learn.
Cons
At this point I haven't run into any issues. It keeps us up to date, supports better teamwork and makes it much simpler to catch up by storing the data and learning topics we need.

“onboarding and training win”
Pros
It has been a big help for our HR team especially when it comes to onboarding new employees and handling training more efficiently.
Cons
No complaints at this point. Our team really enjoys using it because the platform is very user-friendly and it works well on both phone and desktop.

“well-organized training software”
Pros
Trainual is very easy to use. The layout is clean organized and simple whether I am moving through modules as a learner or building out content for others to follow. It makes both consuming training material and creating it feel simple, manageable and not stressful at all.
Cons
Honestly there's not much to complain about. If I had to point out one downside, it would be that my training progress gets marked as incomplete again whenever teammates add a new page or publish extra content to a Trainual I had already finished which can be a little distracting.

“quick keyword search is useful”
Pros
One thing that really helps is the search function. I can type in a keyword and quickly pull up the exact content I need without wasting time digging around.
Cons
Every now and then it gets a little glitchy. It doesn't happen often but I have had the screen freeze or noticed a delay while I am typing.

“engaging onboarding experience”
Pros
Before switching we relied on an old wiki-style setup for training and process documentation. Trainual has helped us present that information in a much more engaging way for our team. Our new hires have especially shared really positive feedback about it during onboarding.
Cons
Since the direct video hosting feature is still fairly new, I have run into a few minor issues when uploading videos straight into it. It mentions the process can take up to 10 minutes but you really have to stay on the page while it finishes. I am confident this will get ironed out with time.

“mobile friendly solution”
Pros
Being able to have employees jump in and finish their required training directly from their phones was really convenient.
Cons
For our company it only goes so far because it's one more platform we have to manage alongside our scheduling and communication apps.

“Overall easy to use”
Pros
The platform is pretty easy to use overall. There's a lot of room to customize things once you understand how it works and it does a good job of helping you monitor progress.
Cons
The platform can feel a bit confusing when you're not very familiar with it or if you only use it once in a while. There's definitely a learning curve before it starts to feel natural.

“Packed with top training tools”
Pros
Being able to assign content to specific users is a big plus and the Chrome extension is especially helpful because the team can follow each step while they're actually doing the process. The AI feature is also incredibly useful since employees can ask a question and get answers pulled from all the published content in Trainual, plus it links them directly to where that information lives.
Cons
Document importing still needs some formatting and certain things are more difficult to set up than others. That said, I have managed to find a few workarounds that help and it seems like this is already something their team is working to improve.

“clean interface and smooth OKTA setup”
Pros
The UI/UX design is the biggest highlight for me. It is much more user-friendly than other onboarding platforms I have worked with before and integrating Okta was also very easy.
Cons
One area that could be better is the group permissions especially when trying to assign a single group across a full set of training documents. That said, it may be partly related to how our account is configured.

“onboarding made effortless”
Pros
Its customer support and service have been fantastic while getting familiar with the platform. It's very simple to use and has really helped organize our onboarding process.
Cons
There's honestly very little not to love about it. I'd just love to see more integrations in the future because I really don't have any major issues with the platform.

“engaging training hub”
Pros
Trainual has been a really user friendly and customizable tool to work with. Being able to add GIFs, videos, emojis and more playful formatting makes the training material feel a lot more engaging and much less tedious to get through. It also helps having everything stored in one place which makes updates simple and keeps things from slipping through the cracks.
Cons
One downside is that it can feel a bit limited in terms of design flexibility and I have noticed the integrations with some of the platforms we use could go deeper.

“centralized training that delivers”
Pros
This tool really stands out to me for five key reasons. Such as it keeps everything in one centralized knowledge hub, makes onboarding more structured, supports role-based assignments, is searchable and simple to keep updated and gives accountability and tracking.
Cons
The parts I like least about this tool are the search limitations, the fairly basic quiz functionality and the fact that cross-referencing between different topics and processes can be difficult at times.

“clean and user friendly documentation hub”
Pros
Trainual has been excellent for creating our internal documentation. The platform is user friendly, polished and very clear to work in.
Cons
A few tasks required us to rely on Zapier which wasn't a dealbreaker but I have heard some other tools offer stronger built-in integrations.

“allows training at my own pace”
Pros
Starting a new role felt much more manageable because I could finish the training from home and move through it at a pace that worked for me.
Cons
The only part I didn't care for was the profile completion percentage. It stayed stuck at 97% just because I hadn't uploaded a profile picture.

“onboarding organized in one place”
Pros
Having all our company information gathered in one place has made a huge difference. Trainual has really improved the onboarding process and made task preparation much simpler for employees since everything they need is only a click away. Training new hires takes less effort now and it also helps us clearly see how work is being done across the organization.
Cons
One issue I have noticed is with the search function. While it is helpful overall, it does not always perform well when using more advanced search terms or recommendations. That makes it a little frustrating when trying to locate very specific details inside documents so this part could definitely be improved.
