“saves us time”
Pros
Trainual turns our processes and lessons into something the team can actually follow and repeat, without me having to explain the same things over and over. It saves me a huge amount of time every single day.
Cons
Honestly nothing comes to mind. It has been the most user-friendly program we've worked with and we've tested several others, including Wiki and Guru. We ended up dropping all of them and sticking with this tool.

“training clarity that scales”
Pros
This tool has made our training process much more organized. It cuts down on the same questions going to managers, keeps information consistent across the team and helps new hires ramp up a lot faster.
Cons
It works really well overall but one thing that could be better is how updates or newly added content are surfaced. At times, changes aren't immediately obvious so a clearer way to highlight important or recent updates would help make sure nothing gets overlooked.

“Centralized training that delivers”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits of Trainual for us has been bringing team communication and legal processes into one central place. It's been really useful to test team members and monitor their training progress as they go. Before using it, documents were scattered in different places but now everything we need lives in one system and everyone is working from the same information. Being able to see who is actually engaging with the content is also a huge plus. We've also made good use of presentations and YouTube videos though getting that set up was a little challenging at first but it ended up being very worthwhile. The platform gave us a way to refresh our training library with pre-recorded YouTube content too which made resources much more accessible. Overall, our training sessions have been very productive, the setup process went well and the added organization and centralization have made a real difference for our team.
Cons
Honestly there's very little to complain about. We're very satisfied with this tool and the solutions it provides for our company and it's especially helpful that all of our training is being tracked.

“clean layout and stellar support”
Pros
Trainual took very little effort to start using it and the interface is clean enough that people usually understand it without much hand-holding. We still haven't completed a full rollout but even using it in a limited way has already helped by keeping our processes in one central place instead of having them scattered all over. Their support team has also been outstanding as they are fast to respond, genuinely helpful and very easy to work with.
Cons
This tool comes with a lot of features which is definitely a plus but when you're still trying to define your structure, it can also feel like more than you need at first. Since we haven't fully implemented it yet, usage has dropped off a bit while we work on making it a more central part of our system. A few parts could also be a bit more user friendly especially during the initial setup.

“scalable training that delivers!”
Pros
It has really helped us organize and simplify training in a way that supports growth as our small business scales. The platform makes it easy to upload documents for employees to review and it's useful being able to confirm they've gone through our policies and processes. Customer support has also been excellent whenever questions come up and they're always quick to help.
Cons
One limitation is that videos cannot be uploaded directly and need to be added through an iframe link instead. I'd also love to see a feature that tracks how many hours each employee has spent in it.

“fun dashboard and clear leaderboards”
Pros
Right from login the updated dashboard seems more engaging and gives a better overall view of progress. The leaderboards are a nice touch and it's much clearer to see what percentage each person across the workplace has completed. The data is also well organized, visual and consolidated in a really useful way.
Cons
I really cannot think of any major negatives. If anything, it can still be a little unclear when something should be set up as a Policy, a Process or a Subject. I am not always sure whether certain content fits best under one type or another.

“organized training that keeps everyone aligned”
Pros
Bringing new hires up to speed is much more manageable with Trainual. The whole training process stays organized and it does a really good job of keeping employees focused and on track.
Cons
One frustrating part is that even a small update to a page resets our 100% completion status. In a lot of cases, minor edits really shouldn't require users to go back through the entire module again.

“clean interface for training”
Pros
The clean and user friendly interface makes Trainual comfortable to use for both the people creating content and the ones learning from it. Putting together materials is quick thanks to the templates and modules and it doesn't take any technical background to organize everything well.
Cons
It works exceptionally well for documenting processes but it isn't really designed to serve as a full knowledge base the way Confluence or SharePoint can.

“amazing for team training”
Pros
Teaching employees the company's processes with this tool has been fantastic. It's been an amazing way to train the whole team and it really makes the work much easier.
Cons
The AI could be a little more helpful since it still feels somewhat limited right now. There's definitely room to improve in that area.

“Simple setup that saves time”
Pros
The biggest advantage has been how user friendly the setup is. Plus the team clearly put a lot of thought into making the company configuration process simple enough for a training coordinator at any experience level to handle. Since I am the main training admin for our company, the amount of effort required to get a platform up and running directly affects how I spend my time. Trainual has genuinely reduced that workload and made my role much more manageable.
Cons
One thing that really feels missing is an API for pulling training metrics. We're in a time where AI tools, custom workflows and MCP servers are becoming standard for anyone reasonably tech savvy and most of that depends on API access. Because of that, it's frustrating that this tool still doesn't offer this capability.

“user-friendly training hub”
Pros
Trainual has been a really efficient and user-friendly platform for organizing and sharing information. The layout is also good so creating, updating and finding training materials doesn't take much effort or require a big learning curve. The AI tools are especially helpful because they assist with drafting and improving content which saves time and helps keep documentation clear and consistent. It also works well as a central place for processes and company knowledge making it simpler for team members to locate information and stay on the same page. Overall, it makes onboarding, training and knowledge management much more manageable which boosts efficiency and helps maintain consistency across the organization.
Cons
The part I have liked least about this tool is the formatting experience since it can be a bit awkward and inconsistent at times. Tweaking layouts, spacing and text styles doesn't always feel very user friendly and formatting updates don't consistently carry over evenly between sections. That can make it take longer than expected to get everything looking polished and uniform especially with longer or more detailed content. Sometimes it takes extra manual fixes to keep the formatting consistent which slightly slows down the documentation process.

“training made effortless”
Pros
Compared with a lot of other software out there, Trainual is very easy to use. I recently built a full training program for a client with it and it also works just as well for one-off communication needs with a team. Another big plus is being able to quickly confirm who completed which tasks.
Cons
Honestly there is not much I would change right now. The only minor thing I have noticed is that when editing, it can take two clicks to get back to the other courses I am working on. It is a small issue though and once I got used to it, it just became part of the normal workflow.

“no way to export data”
Pros
The sales pitch made it sound promising but the platform itself doesn't live up to that. A few features are helpful though I am not convinced this is a system that would work well for every company.
Cons
Trying to leave it is where the biggest problem shows up such as there's absolutely no way to download or transfer your data. There's also no bulk download option which makes getting your information out incredibly frustrating.

“helpful training hub”
Pros
Trainual has been really useful for our company because it gives us a lot of information about all the training required across the organization. The directory is also a nice feature since it lets you put faces to names and see everyone who works there.
Cons

“fantastic playbooks for teams”
Pros
It has been very user-friendly, with features that are simple to access for both backend admins and front-end users. Our team works in it every day because the playbooks give each department a reliable place to find what they need to know and learn. One thing I really appreciate is being able to share playbooks across departments which gives everyone better visibility into other teams' responsibilities and what's expected of them. The customer service and user community have also been incredibly helpful and I often browse posts from other users to better understand the features available to us. On top of that the implementation team seems genuinely open to feedback and is always willing to consider new ideas from users.
Cons
The only issue we really run into is that the mobile app can be a little slow at times and it still doesn't offer every feature available on the desktop version. Since many of our team members work on-site and depend on the app to access information in the field, that gap can be frustrating.

“It is pretty easy to setup”
Pros
Trainual was pretty easy to use and the onboarding team did a really helpful job of getting us set up and ready to go. Our employees also mention how simple the platform is to use which has made adoption much easier across the team.
Cons
One downside is that they cannot partner with Loom anymore to create videos the way they used to. When Loom was available, the videos fit right into the training content we built so that integration is definitely missed.

“ORG chart and AI boost training”
Pros
Seeing the full org chart with both staff and leadership in one place has been fantastic. Content creation is also really strong especially with the AI-generated summaries and the help it provides when writing trainings.
Cons
Working with tables can be frustrating because they're hard to navigate. Management changes also take extra effort since each staff member has to be updated one by one when reporting lines change.

“keep our teams aligned :)”
Pros
Building and managing a structured sales playbook in Trainual is pretty simple without being overly complicated. The platform gives plenty of flexibility to create, reorganize and update pages as the content grows which is especially important when putting together more than 70 hours of material. Everything can be arranged by role and process, with videos and tools linked in so the entire system stays organized, clear and accessible. It has also worked really well for the team. They can jump into a section and quickly find the most current information, templates and training resources without having to dig through shared folders. It keeps everyone on the same page and saves a lot of time.
Cons
Tracking comments and feedback across a large volume of content can be challenging. With more than 70 hours of material in the system, it would be helpful to have a simpler way to spot when someone leaves a comment and go straight to it, rather than searching through individual documents. It's not a major issue but it would make content management and updates much more efficient.

Pros
