user friendly and constantly improving

Pros

Waybook software is very simple to use. As it has made it much easier to manage different parts of my business and I have been really pleased to see the product keep evolving with genuinely useful new features. On the few occasions I have needed help, the support team has also been excellent.

Cons

One thing still missing is automated reporting for staff training progress, as well as alerts when important documents haven't been completed yet.

training tracking and strong support

Pros

Keeping tabs on employee progress across our training documents has been incredibly useful. The option to include pictures and videos in the documents makes the content much more effective. Customer support has been responsive whenever needed and the overall value for the price is excellent.

Cons

I'd still like to see an app dashboard that matches or at least closely resembles, the web version. A more full-featured mobile app would make the experience even better.

The best for remote SOPs

Pros

Working remotely, we rely on it to store all of our SOPs and it's been fantastic. Sharing links with the team is easy too and making updates is just as simple whenever something needs to change.

Cons

The downside is that paragraph styling is pretty limited. At times, it's difficult to paste paragraphs and keep the same formatting or font style.

The Ultimate Tool that Will Grow Your Business Massively

Pros

After trying out various recommended process management tools like Bit.ai, GDOCS, and Process.st, I finally discovered Waybook. None of the others combined the flow, storage, and flexibility that Waybook offers. Its user-friendly interface and logical flow make it pretty easy to use. The software accommodates different formats, and whenever I onboard new team members, they quickly grasp its functionality. Trusting Waybook with the storage of crucial documents is a no-brainer for me. I've uploaded thousands of videos in various SOPS, and it has never crashed or caused any issues. The software also provides useful shortcuts for effortless SOP writing and addition. The team behind Waybook continues to introduce genuinely valuable features without overwhelming the platform, which I truly adore.

Cons

It's difficult to find any issues as they have addressed all the reported concerns! My only minor current problem is not worth mentioning. However, when doing SOPS, it would be great if you could copy the link to your clipboard, highlight the word you want to link, and press Ctrl+V to automatically set the link, similar to Slack's functionality with Ctrl+U, then Ctrl+V for quick link insertion. As I mentioned, it's a very minor issue!

Great product and excellent support

Pros

Waybook is both flexible and powerful. With its excellent features and regular updates, it provides a delightful interface for team onboarding, training, and process management. We have created an extensive library of documents for internal training and onboarding, and thanks to Waybook, our training has never been better for new staff. The system offered by Waybook is truly exceptional in this regard.

Cons

Once you've checked off items on a list while working through a process, if you want to repeat the process (e.g., with another project), you need to manually uncheck all the checkboxes before reusing them. In that sense, it's not as powerful as Process St (but the pricing is much better!). Apart from that, we absolutely love it!

Collaborators & Partners, Not Just Securing a Contract

Pros

The support provided by this software is truly remarkable, fostering a highly collaborative environment. Its user-friendliness is a significant advantage.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the export format as it lacks the ability to create page breaks, making the printouts less user-friendly. Additionally, the inability to customize email reminders disrupts our workflow, leading department heads to send emails from their accounts and provide links to Waybook for review. It's not the ideal solution for us.

fantastic templates and support

Pros

Having one reliable place to document all our company processes and job types was exactly what we needed and Waybook delivered on that really well. The templates gave us a strong starting point right away which helped us get things set up quickly. On top of that their customer service has been incredibly fast, friendly and genuinely helpful. I really couldn't have asked for better support.

Cons

We only ran into a small number of editing issues and whenever that happened, the support team responded fast and either fixed the problem quickly or gave us a temporary workaround until it was resolved.

centralized SOP hub

Pros

Waybook does a really great job of keeping company content organized. Using Categories, Subjects and Documents makes everything much more structured and having all SOPs centralized in one place is far better than dealing with scattered files everywhere. The layout and formatting also make the content clear and easy to follow. We use it internally for onboarding and training new team members and externally as a client-facing knowledge base as well.

Cons

From time to time, there are formatting issues especially when trying to get out of bullet points or numbered lists while editing content. The workaround is usually to create a new content block, format it the way you want and then delete the extra parts you don't need. I feel like it would be much better if there were a formatting icon on the left side of each line to make those adjustments more directly.

professional process documentation

Pros

Running my own business while also working at a multinational has given me plenty to compare and Waybook looks far more professional for documenting company processes than what most large companies use. The workflow is also simple such as document the process, then ask questions.

Cons

I'd really like it to store an IP trace and provide a diploma or certificate once someone completes the material. That would make it possible to track, with legal backing, who has read the activities and who hasn't.

Helpful onboarding knowledge hub

Pros

Waybook is very user friendly and simple to navigate. It does a really good job of helping teams organize knowledge and share it with the right people across the company. For onboarding, it's especially useful because it lets you keep track of who has gone through the process. It's not exactly an LMS but it still works really well for monitoring learning and training progress.

Cons

The customization options for text are a bit limited and it would be even better if it included more content features, such as the ability to add charts inside the text.

Great structure that delivers

Pros

Using Waybook is way too easy. The layout is well organized and the whole platform is incredibly easy to work with.

Cons

It would be even better with more community-focused features added. Things like chat channels, calendaring, email integration and Zoom integration would build on the platform's strong structure and make it feel more connected.

valuable and simple platform

Pros

Waybook is a great platform that helps showcase and build real value within a business.

Cons

The only thing missing right now is a mobile app which would be fantastic since I'd love to create more SOP guidance while on the go.

User friendly onboarding tool

Pros

It has been proven a really user friendly tool for organizing business processes and making onboarding much more manageable for new team members. Features like permissions and summary emails are especially helpful because they provide a clear bird's-eye view of how the team is progressing.

Cons

I noticed that the text editor still has room for improvement, although it has gotten significantly better since we first started using the platform.

powerful training and permissions

Pros

One thing that really works well with Waybook is being able to train people through it using courses, quizzes and other learning tools. The biggest benefit for me is that I can keep my manual stored on the platform and control permissions at every level.

Cons

The part I'd still like to see improved is the training setup, since it could be more user friendly and simpler to administer and manage.

team alignment and training wins

Pros

Waybook has been an amazing choice for keeping our team on the same page through shared documents, policies and procedures. The biggest advantage for us has been the ability to track training effectively by assigning and managing tests through the admin side.

Cons

At this point we haven't come across any particular feature we dislike or anything obvious that this software needs to add.

engaging onboarding that clicks

Pros

Our onboarding process has become a lot more organized with this. Another thing that works really well is the range of ways we can present information which makes onboarding feel far less dull and repetitive.

Cons

One frustrating part is when someone leaves and another person comes in using the same email address. I really wish there were a way to reset their progress.

limited for document templates

Pros

Getting a lifetime deal through AppSumo for a low price made it feel at least somewhat worthwhile. It's also useful having one place where we can store documents and look back at them when needed.

Cons

The downside is that it doesn't really work as a practical process management system since there's no way to print from it. The documents also aren't formatted in a way that makes them suitable for printing, so it's not realistic to keep letters for clients or employees there unless they're saved as PDFs. That becomes inconvenient because details like the name, address and date constantly need to be updated. We were hoping to store templates there as part of our processes but that just isn't possible.

fast and easy setup

Pros

Able to set this up and running was incredibly quick and it took almost no training to start using it properly. Whenever a question comes up, the in-app support team replies fast and is genuinely helpful. The way everything is organized strikes a nice balance too as it's detailed enough to give you the indexing depth you may need but it only goes about three levels deep. That simple menu structure makes the whole system much easier to roll out.

Cons

There are still a handful of features I'd love to see added, although they may already be on the roadmap. Exporting is possible but I'd really like the option to export more documents at once. It would also be useful to have the ability to password-protect a public page.

interactive onboarding powerhouse

Pros

At its best, this platform gets the basics right such as interactive onboarding, training and a central knowledge base all in one place. Creating, updating and archiving pages is easy and the ability to embed almost any type of media makes it very useful for building repeatable processes that lead to consistent results.

Cons

If I had to point out one thing I'd still want, it would be support for webhooks or more integrations beyond the usual Zapier-style options.
