Cons
I did notice that some of the modules felt outdated and not as user-friendly as I would have liked. Adjusting to the multiple steps required to complete a single transaction took some time.

The module links feature is incredibly useful. It allows me to access a customer's file easily to look up older sales or maintenance records while entering an invoice for billing. I particularly enjoy the convenience of exporting reports to Excel and PDF formats. When we migrated our files to this new software we were able to start using it immediately on the first day.
Cons
There were a few features that required tweaking for certain reports specifically for our unique sales tax requirements. However the Aquilon team was incredibly accommodating promptly addressing and resolving these issues to align with our preferences.

Our small manufacturing and distribution company with approximately $15M in sales had to transition from our outdated server-based package due to lack of support. We faced constant problems with Microsoft update compatibility security issues and connectivity problems. Switching to a cloud-based solution seemed like the right path and after evaluating and testing various options we chose Aquilon. The pricing was reasonable for a company of our size and the involvement of Aquilon's leadership in the sales process was a major selling point. Their personal service and support have been exceptional from the beginning and continue to this day.
Cons
While transitioning from our old system there were a few reports that I missed. However we were able to create custom reports that provide essentially the same information. Using a cloud-based subscription product like Aquilon eliminates concerns about server problems software updates backups and connectivity issues with our branches which brings peace of mind.

While we have yet to fully utilize all aspects of the software we are confident that it will support our business growth. The customer service is truly awesome with quick issue resolution and prompt responses to any questions or concerns. Regular updates fix bugs and introduce new features.
Cons
Aquilon has the capacity to manage numerous aspects of your business making it challenging to fully master all its functionalities. Additional training from their staff would undoubtedly benefit us. While the interface is not yet consistent across all modules they are actively working on improving it.

This software excels in ease of implementation functionality payroll inclusion and significant resource savings compared to our previous system and Excel spreadsheets. The customer support is outstanding and customization requests are promptly and effectively implemented.
Cons
The integration with the general ledger can be cumbersome but I have learned that Aquilon is addressing this issue and working on eliminating it in the upcoming version which is currently being tested.

Cons
One limitation I encountered is the inability to build new modules on the fly. Each new request has to be submitted although the Aquilon office is incredibly helpful in assisting with these requests. Nonetheless it would be advantageous to have the capability to set up simple modules independently.

They achieved this by listening acting and reviewing to ensure buy-in from us. They also took the time to understand our business and its nuances so the product truly achieves what we wanted it to do.

My favorite feature is the automatic creation of intercompany journal entries ensuring balanced intercompany loan accounts at all times. The inventory module allows perpetual inventory counts avoiding disruptions that a full stock count can bring. The payroll system is user-friendly and allows detailed cost allocations. The customer service is excellent providing customization training and ongoing support tailored to our requirements.

We use the software for every part of our business from inventory control to purchase orders invoicing tracking aging and all our accounting needs. It's a fully-fledged accounting package. Additionally it simplifies "chain-of-custody" requirements eliminating the need for extra paperwork. 22.Aquilon has proven to be very stable with no crashing issues. Regular updates have made the system more robust. Reviews and queries are simple and straightforward providing all the necessary information. Exporting directly to Excel makes code changes and product updates very easy. Our small manufacturing and distribution company with approximately $15M in sales had to transition from our outdated server-based package due to lack of support. We faced constant problems with Microsoft update compatibility security issues and connectivity problems. Switching to a cloud-based solution seemed like the right path and after evaluating and testing various options we chose Aquilon. The pricing was reasonable for a company of our size and the involvement of Aquilon's leadership in the sales process was a major selling point. Their personal service and support have been exceptional from the beginning and continue to this day.
Cons
While transitioning from our old system there were a few reports that I missed. However we were able to create custom reports that provide essentially the same information. Using a cloud-based subscription product like Aquilon eliminates concerns about server problems software updates backups and connectivity issues with our branches which brings peace of mind.

Pros
22.Aquilon has proven to be very stable with no crashing issues. Regular updates have made the system more robust. Reviews and queries are simple and straightforward providing all the necessary information. Exporting directly to Excel makes code changes and product updates very easy. The shortcut keys are useful for speeding up data entry and processing. Security protocols limit access to employees with specific functions.
Cons
We have to use pre-printed forms for picking tickets invoices etc. It would be helpful to have the option to use PDF or another form capture method. Some module queries are currently unavailable or limited in scope but I've heard that they are being worked on.
