Redzone is very very easy, catering to newcomers and senior management alike. It represents a significant step in data collection, prioritizing action, and establishing a bottom up information system that focuses on machines, people, and processes.

The price is a concern. However we consider Redzone as an essential tool for maximizing our added value much like our Human Resources department.

The software's ease of use is outstanding. Once you understand how to create skills and learning packs, the process remains the same regardless of the skill you're working on. It provides associates with a detailed overview of the company and their positions, which is a new and valuable addition.

I didnt like the absence of a preview option for learning packs. To see how something looks for a new hire, you have to assign it to yourself.

It's incredibly easy to use, and the user experience for colleagues working in production environments is exceptional. Performance updates and screens are easily understandable for everyone!

Implementing the SPC module during the rollout has been challenging but has significant potential for improvement.

Pros

Redzone has accomplished what no other software has been able to do for us. It is flexible and logically structured, allowing us to go fully paperless in Quality. The ability to switch between products and lines on an iPad made it possible. We were able to create intelligent checks that cannot be falsified and are easy for operators at any level to complete. The difference maker was our Coach, who understood the big picture and found creative solutions to meet our unique needs, leading to our success. Redzone's support throughout the implementation process exceeded our expectations and surpassed any other software implementation experiences we've had.

Cons

Its not necessarily a bad thing but using Redzone requires full commitment. It's not something you can dabble in you need to be fully invested.

I joined Redzone training a couple of months after its launch at Just Desserts. The support team ensured I caught up and learned what was necessary. The feature I find most valuable in my role is the variety of chats available to stay in touch with the production team, along with the operations module for reviewing runs with the production supervisors.

Cons

I cannott think of anything negative. We are truly enjoying the positive impact Redzone has had on Just Desserts.

No major issues but it would be great to have the ability to view historical problems from shifts in the data center in chronological order, along with the default Pareto chart.

Occasionally, there are glitches in the system where certain fields cannot be edited while others can. Also, the lists of names for forums are not in alphabetical order.

Some features like problem solving, are still done outside of the system. It would be even better if they were integrated into Redzone.

The way it connects the entire company is remarkable. From the company president to the line operator, everyone can now communicate directly with each other. It's a fantastic tool! Equipping everyone on the floor with tablets is fantastic. It has truly revolutionized our business practices!

Cons

Customizing the software to individual businesses is not easily achievable. However for 99% of the application, customization is not necessary.

Transitioning to a paperless system! The simplicity, traceability aspects, and functionality of Redzone have greatly benefited our company in terms of quality and production improvements.

We would appreciate certain features, such as sell by date calculations per item or GSFI audit scheme templates being added to Redzone in the future.

It was simple to replicate and further enhance the existing quality checks we had established in our company.

Our company requires numerous quality checks resulting in a high number of data sheets. While creating these sheets we often had to copy and paste, but not all the necessary information like triggers and reactions upon completion was successfully copied over

As it replaces paper logs, it would be more convenient if it had better accessibility with a search function. The action filters can be somewhat cumbersome.

It doesn't have the capability to automatically manage shift schedules and the reason codes lack depth.

It would be great if Redzone had a coding wish list. While building new triggers, we noticed the inability to copy existing triggers. Additionally, having a multi-window mode to edit multiple data sheets simultaneously would be beneficial.
