“Functional but not flexible”
Pros
The integration between modules, particularly sales order entry and inventory management, is seamless.
Cons
Integration with other enterprise software solutions is not possible. It also struggles to integrate with out of the box web solutions and shipping alternatives. Communicating system data with clients is not easily accomplished.

“Sage100 is Easy to USe”

“Perfect fit for any size business”
Pros
This software is excellent for businesses of any size. It requires minimal training for new employees and the basic components are user-friendly. One of the best aspects is the availability of various addons from different vendors, so if a function is needed, it is often already available or can be customized by a vendor.
Cons
Some of the more advanced features lack proper explanations or are challenging to locate. The user interface needs consistency across all modules.

“Very good software. Has gotten better over time. Still room for improvement”
Pros
It is a comprehensive software with all the necessary modules for running a typical company. The Paperless Office feature works well for printing and linking PDF copies of documents.
Cons
Workflow can occasionally be frustrating or unclear. The implementation of the paperless office, particularly for PDF invoices and uploaded documents, is good but not excellent. Better management of inventory work orders is needed. Basic integration is problematic, while fully featured integration is overwhelming. There should be an intermediate option. A basic work order process that functions properly is required.

“Moderately ok ERP”
Pros
Sage100c proved to be relatively intuitive in its usage.
Cons
Data integrity has been an issue at times. Our value added reseller (VAR) has been excellent in assisting, but even they have struggled to resolve certain data issues. In one instance, correcting average costs for an item held in multiple warehouses posed a challenge, even when contacting Sage directly for assistance.

“Easy to customize”
Pros
The ability to export GL details to Microsoft Excel and customize reports for our cost centers is highly valuable.
Cons
It would be preferable if I could create cost centers directly within Sage instead of exporting to Excel every month.

“Manufacturing company - Standard Costing Basis”
Pros
Integrating back end data using Access is relatively easy although having an ODBC connection directly to SQL Server would be more helpful.
Cons
As a manufacturing company using standard costing and lot tracing, updating standards within this software proves extremely difficult. Tracing the history of costs and breakdown between materials, labor, and overhead is either very limited or impossible.

“changes that are hard to make”
Pros
I appreciate the software's ease of use, and I can typically find what I'm looking for without much difficulty.
Cons
It's difficult to read the text in the shaded box where the customer number is displayed, causing strain on the eyes, especially when working on the computer all day.

“I don't have cloud just Sage 100”
Pros
The support team was excellent during our transition in 2012 making it as smooth as a new installation could be. I also like the consistency across different areas of the software, allowing knowledge from one module to be applied to another.
Cons
When attempting to create custom reports, I come across databases with the last three letters "WRK." It would be beneficial to have access to those databases since they often contain all the necessary information for a custom report. Although I understand they are a combination of existing databases, they typically provide everything I need. Additionally, the bug in the current software update that prevents closing the ship to address box in the right corner is quite annoying.

“Sage 100 Review”
Pros
We have been relying on the Sage ERP Suite for over 10 years, and it has been consistently reliable with only a few minor issues. The new releases have addressed the problems we encountered and we have successfully customized the software to streamline processes for our users.
Cons
We encountered some issues with payroll and decided to switch to another solution.

“Not for us”
Pros
The setup process was straightforward, thanks to clear instructions. The customer service team was helpful and addressed any questions we had.
Cons
This software feels outdated. Voiding a payment requires manual intervention and making adjustments to an invoice involves extensive research, such as retrieving information like invoice number, amount, posting date, GL code and cost code, followed by manual adjustment. In the payroll module, once payroll is posted, all the information is permanently lost and there is no way to retrieve it.

“Bondex Sage”
Pros
The visual integration tool is impressive, and I also like the options for paperless operations.
Cons
It would be great if I could directly print GL detail from the account inquiry screen instead of having to run a separate GL Detail report; it would save time. Great Plains offers this option.
