flexible email design freedom

Pros

Compared with other email marketing platforms I've used, this one feels much more simple. The design flexibility is excellent, template creation is easy and the ability to build visually engaging emails with complete control over layout is a major advantage.

Cons

I'm completely satisfied with it and don't have any complaints at all.

Perfect engagement tracking

Pros

The analytics provide valuable insights into audience engagement. Being able to track opens, click activity, engagement times and top-performing users makes it much easier to understand customer behavior.

Cons

Pricing becomes frustrating when it comes to adding multiple contact groups. I have one very long email list that I would prefer to split up more easily but creating separate lists raises the cost quite a bit. Since I do not use the platform often enough to justify paying extra, it is disappointing that I cannot more affordably send emails to groups like freshmen sophomores and seniors separately.

powerful email tracking tools

Pros

For nonprofit marketing, this platform has been an excellent choice. The free plan is surprisingly powerful, reliability has never been an issue and its e-commerce tracking capabilities rank among the strongest available.

Cons

The one area where it falls short is email design. We definitely prefer the templates and overall look from other platforms like Flo Desk because the design side here feels pretty limited.

Simple campaigns with limited advanced features

Pros

Ease of use is one of the platform's greatest strengths. The user experience is easy, it covers the core needs of most small businesses and the pricing offers excellent value.

Cons

It's definitely not as powerful or advanced as other email marketing platforms. It works well for sending campaigns and getting your business email up and running but I wouldn't recommend it for lifecycle journeys or transactional emails.

Making campaigns less intimidating

Pros

Creating and sending email campaigns feels far less intimidating with this solution. The dashboard is welcoming, the template builder makes professional emails easy to create and the reporting tools present data in a clean, understandable way.

Cons

The template builder can be a bit glitchy at times and it takes a few minutes to fully get used to the settings. I'd also prefer more creative freedom when designing, more along the lines of Canva's drag-and-drop style for placing elements.

Simple automation with strong potential

Pros

After spending some time with it, the standout features for me are the email automation and lead generation forms. The platform is simple to learn and still offers a lot of power.

Cons

Support has been a little behind when it comes to response times but as far as the platform itself goes, I have not run into any issues yet.

Packed with smart marketing tools

Pros

Being able to create emails from either templates or raw HTML is something I really value. Importing email addresses whenever needed is easy and I appreciate the strong focus on spam prevention along with the tagging and grouping tools. The demographic insights are useful and the platform's A/B testing features plus its predictions for the best send time make a real difference. I've made very few sending mistakes and I credit that to the excellent testing options built into the system.

Cons

Switching between the multivariate email sections and the older version of the site can be frustrating to navigate. I've also had trouble setting up automated sequences especially something like a welcome email series. Another annoyance is that exporting data I entered myself is harder than it should be without administrator access. On top of that, I don't enjoy getting warned about the possible cost of importing new data every single time since that isn't something I'm responsible for in my role. I'd rather be focused on celebrating that our list is growing.

A great fit for new businesses

Pros

After more than two years of using it, I can say the system is very user-friendly and comes with plenty of email templates to get started right away. Creating and customizing your own email newsletters is also very easy. On top of that, the free basic plan is a really good fit for most people just starting a business.

Cons

I'd still like to see new templates added more regularly.

One of the best free options

Pros

One thing I appreciate most about it is that it's one of the best free email marketing platforms out there especially since it lets me use the service for up to 2,000 contacts at no cost. Another big plus is being able to create landing pages directly inside the platform with a drag-and-drop builder which makes the whole process really convenient.

Cons

One limitation that bothers me is that I'm not able to send emails that include a direct affiliate product link.

Beginner-friendly with useful integrations

Pros

There are plenty of templates to pick from which makes this email marketing tool very beginner friendly. One feature I especially enjoy is the WordPress landing page template since I was able to integrate it nicely into my blog.

Cons

Subscription pricing can feel expensive especially for users who only have a small number of contacts on their mailing list.

Affordable and easy to adopt

Pros

I've stuck with it for over three years and the affordable free and essential plans were what pulled me in right away. Getting started was very easy even as a beginner and I never had to study anything before using it. Picking the right template for each campaign can usually be a hassle but that hasn't been a problem here since there are plenty of template options for every campaign I send. I've also really enjoyed the integration options because it connects with almost any app online today.

Cons

Customer support is the part that needs work. Faster replies to support tickets would make it much better to use because waiting in a long queue for help is frustrating when there's an urgent client issue.

Professional email marketing made simple

Pros

Running email campaigns with this platform feels very professional. It helps grow an audience through signup forms that are simple to set up and add to a website so visitors can subscribe and start receiving promotional emails. It also comes with plenty of beautiful, eye-catching templates and those can be customized and edited to fit different needs. Altogether, the features are impressive and make it a strong choice for growing a business in a professional way.

Cons

Dashboard is excellent and very easy to use. Everything about the platform feels polished and professional and I have not run into any issues or problems while using it. From my side, it has been perfect so I do not really have any cons to mention.

My top choice for deliverability

Pros

After more than seven years of using it and trying plenty of similar services along the way, this is still the one that has worked best for getting emails into the inbox. One feature I really appreciate is the drag-and-drop template builder which lets me put together a newsletter in almost no time. On top of that, the segments and tags are very easy to use so even someone new to email marketing could pick them up quickly. Overall, it's definitely one of the best tools in this category.

Cons

There's no question it's a very good service but the premium plans are priced too high and really should be more affordable. I also think the free plan would be much better if it included all features especially automation.

Insightful reporting and campaign building

Pros

This tool does a really good job of letting users build and organize campaigns or newsletters based on their business, target audience and the style of campaign they want to run. That's especially helpful for employees working in a newer market who may not yet know what kind of click-through rates or impressions are typical for their industry. I really enjoyed going through the campaign reports and comparing our results against both industry benchmarks and past campaigns. Putting together newsletters and campaigns is also fairly easy and simple to understand. There are plenty of content options you can drop into a campaign too, like buttons, videos, text sections and images with captions and those features work very well.

Cons

A few frustrations come up around email filtering and the newsletter creation process. The newsletters often end up in my junk inbox although that may be tied to my business-specific email address rather than the platform alone. I'd definitely like to see fewer emails land in junk but some of that also seems connected to missing customer information since messages without first or last names can be filtered out more easily. Another thing I keep wishing for is the ability to copy and paste individual boxes or elements inside newsletters. I often want to reuse content from previous campaigns in current ones and having that option would save a lot of time instead of rebuilding the same material again and again. I'd also say the overall layout and website could use a refresh. The site and newsletter builder feel a bit dated and they could be made much more interactive for users.

Easy to learn and navigate

Pros

It was pretty easy and sending emails didn't take long to figure out. The interface feels very user-friendly and I really enjoy the branding, everything has a consistent voice and really speaks the language well.

Cons

It falls short when it comes to advanced functionality. There aren't enough sophisticated filters, smarter segmentation options, or ways to build more advanced drip campaigns. If you need to really break down your audience and create complex automations, this probably isn't the right tool.

Strong features despite the cost

Pros

Even though the platform is pricey, the free plan still includes most of the tools you need. The Google Analytics reporting is excellent, customer localization is very useful and the template editor is powerful while still being simple to work with.

Cons

A lot is available at no cost but the pricing becomes very high once you need the premium plan for more subscribers. The free plan is also limited to 10,000 emails per month which can be restrictive as your list grows.

A complete free marketing toolkit

Pros

Getting all of this for free is a big plus especially with the full feature set included. It brings together the email database, email campaigns, landing pages and other marketing tools in one place and the automation options add a lot of value.

Cons

Biggest frustration is the landing page editor. There's no simple undo with Ctrl+Z and the design process feels far less simple than Unbounce. I often end up removing whole sections by accident. On top of that, creating and editing assets can feel slow and tedious even though the platform offers complete functionality. Automations are also hard to fully trust because when I test them with my own email, there can be a long delay before anything arrives. Some kind of confirmation message would make that much more reassuring.

Fast results for small businesses

Pros

Running my B2B outreach with this has been very easy. The platform is simple, simple to manage and has been genuinely valuable for my business. I sent a message to my customers this morning and it only took around 7 minutes to contact everyone. Based on the responses I'm already seeing, that one short email could turn into a $1500 sale. Really impressive stuff.

Cons

Only real downside is that the free version is pretty limited which is expected to some extent. Even so, the free plan still works well and I haven't run into any issues using it.

Efficient workflow for recurring campaigns

Pros

The design templates look polished and are simple to work with which makes it quick to build routine emails. A campaign creator can reuse previously uploaded images, templates and past emails or campaigns and the themes help clearly signal the type of message users are receiving.

Cons

At times, navigating around a campaign can be frustrating because scrolling and moving through it is not always convenient. The design pull-over boxes sometimes block the workspace and images cannot be adjusted inside the platform, such as cropping or stretching so banners need to be edited in other software before being uploaded.
