“fantastic for email campaigns”

Pros

Out of the many email marketing tools available, this one has become my favorite. It helps us promote our products and services effortlessly. We can also connect and collaborate with customers through email in a way that saves both time and money. Sending outbound emails is quick and creating, personalizing and managing email lists is all very fast and convenient.

Cons

Ever since I began using it, I haven't run into any issues at all. I would definitely recommend it for email marketing.

Pros

The pricing and feature set feel well balanced especially for small business owners who need something affordable without giving up the tools they need.

Cons

Getting everything configured takes more effort than it first appears and there isn't enough readily available setup support. It's not overly hard to implement but it does take some time to get set up properly.

Pros

After using this software at work for about six months, I can say it has some genuinely useful features even though it could be frustrating at times. The template creation is one of the better parts because you can set up an email template and reuse it without having to spend much time adjusting it over and over. It also lets you send emails to a fairly large group of people which was definitely one of the most valuable features the program offered.

Cons

At the same time, the contact limit is a real inconvenience because once you reach it, you have to keep deleting old contacts just to send emails to new ones and that makes the whole process more awkward than it should be. Another issue is that the formatting does not always translate well with other software so some recipients ended up seeing emails that looked a bit strange when opened. Even though the templates were a positive overall some of them were not very simple for my coworkers which caused a few problems for our team. On top of that, the price feels fairly high even considering the benefits it does provide.

Pros

Playful design is one of the best parts especially little details like the monkey giving you a high-five after you send an email. The documentation is helpful as well although it can be tricky to locate the exact information you need and it isn't always updated to the newest version.

Cons

Most of my frustrations come from the free plan so there's only so much I can complain about. Still, when they changed that plan a few months back, I had to cut down and adjust the way I use it which was tough and honestly still disappointing. On top of that, unrelated to the free plan, there are a few bugs while editing emails especially with typography and layout.

Pros

A great choice for startups especially because the pricing can be flexible at the entry level. I've been using this software for a few years and it covers everything needed for email marketing and then some. There are plenty of ways to build emails, with layout options for different campaign goals and lots of template themes to choose from. It also handles mass email sending well.

Cons

Even though there's a free plan, the pricing can jump from fairly low to very expensive and other providers offer similar features in cheaper packages. I'd also like to see more tutorials since getting everything set up can be a bit complicated.

“Simple interface and helpful campaign data”

Pros

The interface feels very simple and every new release seems to make the platform even more user-friendly. It also provides useful, usable data all the way through the email campaign process which helps a lot.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is a few more template and module options, or at least better customization tools that don't require copying and pasting HTML from somewhere else online.

It covers pretty much everything I need from an email marketing platform. It works well for all kinds of users, whether you just want to send plain text emails, use their very practical prebuilt templates, upload your own HTML designs, or create custom templates with dynamic fields to personalize content with user data. The automation tools are especially valuable for building great marketing flows, letting you send sequences such as welcome emails, informational campaigns, birthday offers, cart recovery messages, product feedback requests, opinions and other revenue-focused communications. I also appreciate the analytics side since you can check deliverability, open rates and click rates directly inside the platform without much effort. On top of that, you can connect your own tracking tools and review results in external analytics platforms like Google Analytics. Integrations are also easy, either by connecting manually through the API or by using plugins for major platforms like WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Zapier which helps extend the automation possibilities even further.

Cons

A few limitations stand out to me in the service and the biggest one is probably segmentation. You can organize contacts into lists but when you want to narrow down exactly who should receive a campaign, the filtering is fairly basic. It relies on conditions like whether someone has or hasn't opened the last few emails, along with details such as gender, age, state, interests and similar data but you are limited to using only five conditions at a time. If you are working with a very large database, that can be restrictive and it often means duplicating campaigns and refining the audience in multiple steps just to reach the segment you actually want. Pricing is another weak point if your contact lists are large and it becomes even more expensive when the same customer appears on multiple lists since they are counted once for each list they belong to. For very large businesses, I would rather use ActiveCampaign because the pricing is more favorable and the automation options are stronger.

Pros

After more than four years of using this software, it has been a really great way to stay on top of customer information. It also gives me one place to keep everything sorted, organized and much easier to manage.

Cons

I'm still figuring out the most effective way to build and manage email lists. I do wish there weren't limits on how many lists and tags I'm allowed to use.

It's advertised as a top choice for email marketing but personally it ended up being disappointing.

Cons

After building up a large contact database, I planned to use it for an email campaign. The problem is that the platform doesn't clearly tell you, or seems to hide, that once you have more than 2,000 contacts, you're forced onto the premium plan at $299 per month. Because that wasn't made obvious unless you went looking for it, I spent a lot of time learning the system, designing the email and resizing artwork, only to discover in the end that I couldn't actually use the platform. It ended up being a huge waste of time.

Being able to upload your own templates is really useful and it also connects nicely with your existing online presence, including your Facebook page.

Cons

Although importing custom templates is a helpful feature, it also feels almost necessary because the built-in templates are fairly basic.

The customer support here has been the worst I've dealt with. I don't usually leave reviews but this company really pushed me to do it. To start with, actually reaching someone is a challenge. Support seems to be available mostly through chat and judging by the replies, the agents don't appear to be US-based since their English is clearly a second language. The rep did understand what my issue was but couldn't actually fix it. Instead, I was told I needed to contact another department within the company and the only way to do that was to have them turn our long chat conversation into some kind of ticket which honestly sounds like something no one would want to read through.

Whenever I need to send a promotional email or a newsletter to my website subscribers, this works really well. It lets me create professional-looking emails with its built-in templates and I can also upload my own HTML email template when needed. There are plenty of drag-and-drop elements available for building newsletters and it's simple to update products and other content based on what I want to share.

Cons

Using the provided templates is very easy and uploading a custom template is just as simple. The overall process feels convenient and the tools, features and functions have been excellent for my needs. At this point, I honestly haven't come across any drawbacks.

Pros

Learning the software is remarkably easy even though it offers a broad range of features. The interface feels simple, the responsive email templates work well and the ability to export emails directly from the platform is especially valuable.

Cons

Customer support has been a major disappointment. Our first account was locked after the AI flagged content as violating the terms of use even though our team had not uploaded anything involving adult material. We reached out to have the account restored but the response we got felt like an automated message that simply repeated the same warning about prohibited content. After that, every follow-up email we sent was completely ignored.

For newcomers to email marketing, the free allowance of 2,000 emails makes the platform much more accessible. It provides a risk-free way to get started and the option to manually create customized email templates adds even more flexibility compared with many competing solutions.

Cons

One frustrating part is that the import feature gets disabled when they detect a high bounce rate from the audience. When that happens, users cannot import more emails into the current audience and are stuck adding addresses manually instead. Because of this some people seem less willing to continue using the platform. A helpful fix would be to include an email verification feature first so only valid addresses are added to the audience. I think that would make things much better for users and encourage them to keep using the service instead of leaving.

A generous collection of free features makes the platform very appealing from the start. Landing pages, real-time reporting and easy campaign creation all contribute to a positive experience. Out of the various email marketing tools I've used, this is one of the most satisfying and one I'd gladly recommend to new business owners.

Cons

I'd still love to see a chatbot feature added down the road. Chatbots are becoming more and more essential and I'd rather keep all my communication tools in one platform.

The platform feels approachable from the beginning. While a few features require some time to fully understand, campaign duplication and day-to-day management become extremely convenient once you're familiar with the workflow.

Cons

You really have to dig in and learn more about how the program works. At times it can be difficult to use and finding tutorials or navigating to helpful guidance is not very easy. I also wish there were a customer service representative available to walk me through it.

Cross-device accessibility is a major benefit, allowing email management from virtually any platform. The tree-style account structure is also incredibly useful for viewing team activity and monitoring campaigns across multiple users.

Cons

The one thing I wish it had is offline access especially for after-hours use when I'm outside a Wi-Fi zone.

Creating email campaigns is refreshingly simple with this software. The email builder feels modern and polished and the final emails consistently look professional.

My biggest disappointment is that the direct Shopify integration is no longer available. I used that integration before and it worked really well so it's frustrating that it has been removed.

Sending newsletters and promotions is easy and the platform integrates easily with the tools we already use. It has become an important part of managing our company's email marketing efforts.

Cons

Cost does increase as you grow although it still feels fair for what you get. Every now and then, the post-to-Facebook feature has a few hiccups.

Pros

Content distribution has become much easier thanks to its WordPress integration. The platform automatically detects new website content and sends it to subscribers, helping us maintain strong engagement and steadily grow our contact database.

Cons

I still haven't explored every feature but up to this point I haven't run into anything I needed to do that the platform couldn't handle. If I had to point out one issue, pausing campaigns feels a bit clunky.
