“advanced audience automation suite”
Pros
It has grown from being just an email platform into a full marketing automation suite. The newer subscriber recovery, notification and retargeting features make it much easier to manage audiences in a more complete way. The pricing is also one of its biggest strengths since it stays affordable and simple to adopt without cutting back too much on functionality which is especially helpful for clients starting out with smaller budgets.
Cons
Stricter limits and privacy policies are something everyone is dealing with now so that part is not surprising. Even so, it would still be helpful to have a feature that supports the management and recovery of subscriber lists that have been inactive for a certain period. Maybe that is asking a lot at this stage but it would be a valuable addition because current spam tolerance thresholds are extremely strict and that can sometimes lead to losing subscriber lists.

“newsletter scheduling works beautifully”
Pros
Using this as a teacher has been really helpful for sending my weekly newsletter to parents and keeping them updated on what's happening in the classroom. The platform is fairly easy and I can customize my email settings without much trouble. Being able to schedule messages for a specific date and time is something I especially appreciate.
Cons
There was a bit of a learning curve at first and the site's layout seems to change often enough to be confusing. Over the past year, the homepage has looked different at least five times and each redesign has made it harder to find the sections I need.

“beautiful newsletter templates”
Pros
Between the beautiful templates, drag-and-drop editor and strong free plan, this feels hard to beat for newsletter creation. It lets you build professional, customizable newsletters that do a great job of capturing leads and keeping customers engaged.
Cons
As your contact list gets bigger, the paid plan starts to cost more than some competing tools. Even with that, it's still hard to match when it comes to usability.

“frustrating setup and upload bans”
Pros
One thing I do appreciate is that email providers seem to treat it as a trusted platform for organizational emails. Because of that, I'm not constantly worried about messages ending up in spam folders which is definitely a big plus.
Cons
Getting everything configured is frustrating. It's also confusing when you're trying to make sense of lists, groups, organizations and how all of that is supposed to work together. By the end of the day, setting up an automated email really should not take more than a few minutes. The importing process is another major headache because if you run into bounce-back issues for any reason, like unsubscribes or something similar, they can block you from using auto-upload again. We paid a lot to be part of a trade show and were told we'd get the email addresses of everyone who registered. We sent a single email to that list and then after a certain percentage unsubscribed, we were banned from uploading again. That just feels ridiculous.

“professional campaigns made simple”
Pros
Using it feels really easy. Putting together templates and campaigns that look polished and professional doesn't take much effort at all.
Cons
Getting the hang of how contact lists are managed took me a bit of time at first but once it clicked, the whole process became very simple.

“user-friendly fit for regional teams”
Pros
Starting with the free version gave us a great feel for the product and the biggest advantage was how user-friendly it was. A lot of our users could set it up and tailor it to what they needed without much trouble. The volume caps in the free plan didn't really affect our regional offices which was a plus. We also managed to connect it with a newsletter although getting it to work with our registration systems took a bit more effort.
Cons
Once we started looking at the full version for our actual volume needs, the pricing was higher than expected. Some of the integrations with other tools we use were also more complicated than the easy experience we had with the free version. I'd still recommend it if you don't rely on a lot of APIs or integrations and your volume requirements aren't too high.

“powerful templates and visuals”
Pros
Designing email campaigns with this platform is genuinely enjoyable, mainly because of the ready-made campaign templates and the drag-and-drop editor. That said the layout controls can feel a bit restrictive when it comes to handling negative space like margins and padding and I'd love to see more formatting and styling options to help make campaigns look even more polished and refined. Still, the simplicity of building a visually strong email campaign is the reason I continue to use it. The reporting for opens and click-through rates is great as well even though that isn't our primary priority.
Cons
Pricing becomes a real concern as your audience grows. The way the cost scales makes it feel like expanding your list is something to avoid because the platform quickly starts to feel less cost-effective as a communication tool. We've seriously considered switching to other options based on the pricing structure alone. It would be much better to have base plans that don't automatically jump in price every time you add more recipients to your lists. Another issue is that it's not always obvious when people on your lists are no longer actually receiving your emails. Some addresses may be opted out, disabled, bounced, or undeliverable, yet you may still be paying for them even though your messages never reach them. Because of that, you really have to stay on top of manually reviewing and cleaning your lists, otherwise you can end up paying for contacts that provide no real value.

“versatile email templates and insights”
Pros
Compared with other email marketing tools I've tried, this one has been among the best. The platform is very simple to use and they even provide free email credits so you can test everything before fully committing. There's no need for technical knowledge or coding to create marketing emails which makes it very approachable. It comes with plenty of templates across different categories and any of them can be customized based on what you need. The drag-and-drop builder keeps the whole process easy and the emails you create are responsive as well. Uploading contacts is quick and segmenting them based on specific needs is just as convenient. The reporting is really useful for understanding user behavior and making better campaign decisions. A/B testing is also easy to run which helps identify which campaign performs better. All in all, it's an excellent option for businesses of any size.
Cons
The pricing is a bit on the higher side. There are also times when email delivery gets delayed. I'd also like to see the template library expanded with more ready-made designs because right now you may still need to build some emails from scratch. Aside from that, everything else works very well.

“helpful tracking and templates”
Pros
Navigating the platform is very easy and it makes it really simple to monitor who opened something, along with where and when they viewed it.
Cons
Customization feels a bit restricted. While the templates are nice overall, I can't build my own 2-column, 3-column, or 1-column sections inside a specific template. I enjoy using the premade layouts but the column structure can't be edited once it's already set.

“Great campaigns with smart analytics”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how quickly you can get started even with very little experience, you can have a campaign up and running in just a few minutes. There's no need to know how to code since the drag-and-drop builder and WYSIWYG editor make email marketing very approachable. At the same time, it's capable of growing with your business, whether you're handling basic campaigns or supporting a multi-million dollar company with automation, list management, A/B testing, drip campaigns and more. If you want to bring in custom code, it gives you that flexibility too. The analytics are especially valuable and have given us useful insights that led to some really strong decisions for our business and improved our bottom line.
Cons
Biggest downside is that pricing starts to climb as you scale. Because of that, you have to stay more on top of your campaigns and make sure every dollar you're spending is being used effectively.

“Perfect email marketing toolkit”
Pros
This email marketing platform comes with a high-quality set of tools and connects really well with social media, WordPress and WooCommerce. The templates look polished, the design features are well done and the analytics are very useful. I also appreciate how carefully it helps manage and maintain mailing lists.
Cons
Updated interface works well and is definitely good but visually I still prefer the look of the previous version.

“Excellent email marketing boost”
Pros
Email marketing and newsletters are becoming one of the go-to channels for a lot of businesses and this platform makes it much simpler to manage, automate and track everything. It has been a big help to our business overall especially for email marketing and it's definitely the option we keep turning to.

“useful store integration but restrictive policies”
Pros
Connecting it with my e-commerce store is pretty easy which makes it simple to build welcome emails, thank-you messages, abandoned cart sequences and promotional campaigns. It also helps me keep customers and subscribers updated based on their relationship or level and Mailchimp makes putting together emails that actually appeal to each group very manageable.
Cons
The part I don't enjoy is how strict the platform is around affiliate marketing and certain types of promotional content. Any "make money online" offer or similar email seems likely to land in spam or even get your account suspended. You really have to watch the wording in your emails and honestly, that feels like something email marketing software shouldn't make this difficult.

“quick CRM setup and great free tier”
Pros
For me, one of the biggest benefits is how easy it is to get started and it connects with almost any CRM platform without much trouble. That fast setup with software you already use makes it a strong first choice. The free plan is also useful for sending effective marketing campaigns to fairly large groups, up to 2,000 contacts and it gives you a chance to try some of their other tools to see whether they would benefit your business.
Cons
For a very small organization that just needs a simple free tool, this works well. The downside is that once your subscriber list grows past 2,000, the pricing can rise pretty fast. The paid plans do include more personalization features for marketing but similar tools are available through other software at a lower price and sometimes even at no extra cost.

“free starter-friendly crm”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is that it's free up to a certain subscriber limit and unlike some other platforms such as MailerLite, there's no approval step to get started. The setup feels pretty easy overall so it doesn't come across as too overwhelming if you're just getting into CRM.
Cons
Where I ran into trouble was setting up automatic monthly emails. I ended up having to piece together a workaround on my own and spent a lot of time watching YouTube videos to make it happen. A feature like that feels like it should already be built in, unless it's locked behind a paid plan and it's definitely something they should add. Basic email tasks are simple enough but once you start looking for more advanced functionality, expect a fair amount of trial and error.

Pros
Handling customer follow-ups from our promotional emails has been much more manageable with this tool. The Zendesk widget in particular has been fantastic for keeping track of those ongoing conversations and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Pros
The ease of getting started with this product really stands out to me and the user guides and tutorials cover pretty much every service, feature and function they offer. That makes the whole experience enjoyable and rewarding since setting up and launching new email campaigns and landing pages doesn't take much effort.

“affordable and always improving”
Pros
After trying a bunch of other software and CRM tools for the same tasks, I keep coming back to this one. It's easy to use, reasonably priced and they continue making it better over time. I've recommended it to plenty of entrepreneurs who were just getting started and a lot of them have continued using it as their businesses expanded.
Cons
One thing I still wish it included is a basic built-in CRM so I could manage client relationships more effectively. The other CRM options I've looked at either feel too limited or far more complex than I need so I've ended up piecing together multiple systems to handle everything while still relying on this one. I do remember them sending out a questionnaire asking users what they'd want from a CRM so maybe that feature is on the way.
