“strong features for small businesses”
Pros
Being free for up to 25k subscribers makes this such a strong option for getting a small business off the ground. There's a huge range of functions included and the postcard feature is one of my favorites because it lets me send postcards directly to customers. That kind of creative, outside-the-box feature really makes the platform stand out.
Cons
One thing that really annoyed me was the delete confirmation. If I want to remove something, I have to type "delete," but it only works as "DELETE" in all caps which feels pointless and overly case sensitive for a major email company. Just typing the word should be enough. I also ran into problems when I first tried to create an account. One of my accounts was suspended as a duplicate without any notice or even a question and they ended up deleting the account I had used and learned the most. That was pretty crazy.

“advanced email marketing platform”
Pros
Handling email subscriptions, marketing blasts and building email designs is where this software really shines. It's one of the best and most easy tools for the job and the fact that it connects with so many other products makes it even more valuable for running a website or a business.
Cons
A few of the integrations with other tools can be pretty challenging to work through especially if someone isn't very technical. Email customization can also take a bit of time to understand although overall the product is still excellent.

“affordable bulk emailing win”
Pros
Sending bulk emails with this works really well. Scheduling messages is easy, the reports are useful and clear and the pricing is affordable. The test email feature is also a big plus since it lets you preview exactly what you're about to send.
Cons
If you're aiming for a more creative style, the templates and customization options may feel a bit limiting and probably won't be satisfying enough.

“organized email campaigns win”
Pros
Before using this, our marketing emails were completely scattered. Every sales executive wanted a different theme, style, font, format and layout so keeping things consistent was a challenge. This gave us exactly the solution we needed and works as a one-stop shop for all of our email marketing campaigns. With the newer GDPR rules, it also helps a lot by making unsubscribing effortless whenever a recipient chooses to opt out which saves the company from legal headaches. The organized contact lists and the email analytics are a really nice bonus too.
Cons
One issue is that the user guidelines are not very visible and one of our team members ended up violating the terms of use without realizing it. The reason was not clearly explained and customer support was difficult to get hold of. That said considering it is free software, it is still the best option our team has used so far.

“free plan and wordpress integration”
Pros
This software is easy to use. Free package is a nice bonus and integrating it with WordPress was simple and hassle-free.
Cons
Downside is that customer support can take quite a while to reply to emails and accounts may get limited without a clear explanation.

“fantastic free newsletter tool”
Pros
Running a small company that works with young people, this platform has been really valuable for keeping our followers and networks updated on news, case studies, funding opportunities and our quarterly newsletter. It lets us send everything out efficiently at no cost which is a big plus. I also appreciate being able to check the stats to see who has read it. On top of that, it helps with managing contact lists and includes design features as well.
Cons
There's honestly not much to complain about especially since it's free. The only part I don't really use is the design feature, mainly because I prefer using different software for that.

“powerful email tools and support”
Pros
It has been a really positive experience for me. I've had it for more than 3 years now and I'm still very satisfied with the software. The site keeps getting updated and improved and it has become much more simple to navigate over time. The support is excellent too, with tutorials and help articles that walk you through things step by step, like creating lists and setting everything up properly. I also appreciate the two-factor authentication because it adds an extra layer of security to keep the account protected. Another big advantage is the free basic plan. Once you go over 2,000 subscribers, the pricing is clear and the system warns you when you're adding new subscribers and getting close to exceeding your monthly plan. Scheduling newsletters by time zone is extremely helpful especially in the US and if you don't want to choose manually, it can analyze your audience and recommend the best sending time. I also get daily emails with campaign activity and unsubscribe updates which makes it much easier to keep my list current. The analytics are one of the strongest parts of the platform, you can track opens, see how many times links were clicked and even check a subscriber's full activity history on their profile. The feature I probably value most is the ability to automatically send follow-up emails to people who didn't open the first message or didn't click it.
Cons
A few features, like sending campaigns with Timewarp, are locked behind the paid plan and that pricing feels a bit expensive. The list management options such as tags, groups and segments can also be confusing when you're first learning how everything works.

“top-notch email design tools”
Pros
Using this has been really easy and it comes packed with features that are tough to match. The emails consistently look better than what I've seen with other platforms. Its mobile responsiveness is among the best out there and being able to save emails as exportable templates is something I really appreciate.
Cons
Pricing is on the expensive side and the auto-post to social feature feels clunky.

“free start for bloggers”
Pros
Being free for up to 2,000 subscribers makes this a really great starting point for new bloggers who want to stay connected with a growing audience. It gives you room to learn what kind of newsletter style and communication works best before committing to a paid platform.
Cons
Design side could be better. If you run a lifestyle blog, it can be hard to customize the look and get the visual style you really want.

“reliable bulk email delivery”
Pros
Their infrastructure has been really dependable especially for sending bulk emails to large lists. Delivery rates are strong, tracking is great and it does a good job of keeping emails out of spam folders. The GDPR compliance is also a big plus.
Cons
HTML form builder can be a bit frustrating because it is not always simple and it also lacks some of the more advanced customization options. As a professional developer, I usually lean toward something more tailored like Mailgun but I still recommend this to less technical users so that ends up being both a strength and a weakness.

“Great free start but limited scaling”
Pros
Launching my business with it made a lot of sense, mainly because it's FREE. When you're not bringing in income yet and your list is under 500, paying $40 or more each month for advanced software you don't really need feels unnecessary. It connects with almost every platform and offers plenty of polished opt-in options through third-party integrations. As far as free ESPs go, this is probably the most reputable one available.
Cons
Once your list starts growing, I moved mine over at around 500 subscribers, you'll likely need something more capable. It works strictly on a list-based system so you have a list and you email that list. You can create multiple lists but if the same person belongs to two of them, they get counted twice as a duplicate. That becomes important because the platform is only free up to a certain subscriber limit and those duplicates eat into that cap. More advanced email service providers work on a customer-based model instead of a list-based one. Rather than separate lists, they use tags which lets you track subscriber behavior and send emails based on those actions, like automatically emailing everyone who clicked a link in a recent blog post.

“feature-packed value for newsletters”
Pros
Compared with a lot of email marketing tools, this one gives you a strong feature set for a fairly low price. It handles automation, RSS-to-email and comes with really great email templates. We regularly suggest it to clients as their go-to email marketing platform and the free plan makes it much easier for them to get started with newsletters and email marketing without feeling overwhelmed.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is more flexibility in the design interface especially the ability to group elements together like an image, title and description. It would also be really helpful if the platform made web article curation simpler with true drag-and-drop support. There's an entire niche of newsletter curation services growing around that need and if this feature were built in, a lot of those extra tools wouldn't even be necessary.

“affordable email editor standout”
Pros
Among email platforms, this is one of the simplest ones to work with and the pricing is very reasonable. The drag-and-drop editor is excellent and makes creating emails a pleasure. I regularly suggest it to new clients because it's so approachable and cost-effective.
Cons
Their automation tool, is a completely different experience. It takes technical know-how to use properly and isn't very user-friendly. They also don't offer real customer support you can call or schedule meetings with to get help learning the system. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend it for more advanced email automation.

“versatile services and flexibility”
Pros
Over the past few years, this platform has really evolved and added a lot of valuable services. At first glance, the features seem pretty easy but once you dig into them, there's a lot more depth there which is actually a big advantage. We can either import our own HTML designs or build emails with the built-in templates so there's plenty of flexibility depending on where the HTML is coming from. The GDPR tools were also a standout addition and are especially useful for publishers who are still working through compliance requirements. Another plus is that every campaign is saved and can be edited later, then sent to any of the multiple lists you've assigned.
Cons
One limitation that stood out was the lack of a fully developed template builder for embedded forms. We use sign-up forms on our websites and wanted something as simple as adding a full-color background instead of the default white form. Right now, that kind of customization requires coding. That said there are workable alternatives, like embedding a sign-up link that sends users back to their servers to subscribe to a list. Since that page can be customized, it's not a major issue overall.

“advanced email builder and testing”
Pros
Using it day to day feels very easy. The email builder/editor is honestly one of the strongest I've seen on the market. There were even times when we designed emails in the platform and exported the HTML so we could reuse it on our website which says a lot about how capable and user-friendly the editor is. On top of that, the multi-variate and A/B testing features work really well. That made it very useful for testing subject lines or different email content before sending anything to the full mailing list.
Cons
Our company relies heavily on automation. We needed to build more advanced funnels where certain customer actions, like purchasing a product or visiting a specific page, would automatically trigger targeted emails. We also needed stronger integrations with other tools we use, including Shopify and Facebook Ads. In those areas, the platform felt limited when it came to more advanced functionality. On top of that some of the features we needed required paying an extra monthly fee. Because of those limitations, we eventually moved to a different email marketing platform.

Pros
If you want a reliable way to stay connected with your customers, it is the platform to use. The interface is user-friendly and the customization options feel almost limitless which makes it really effective for managing communication.
Cons

“drip campaigns that deliver”
Pros
Managing lists is easy and the workflows are really well set up. It's especially impressive for building drip campaigns. Most of the time, the sender IP doesn't even need warm-up optimization which helps keep emails from landing in customers' spam folders.
Cons
User-based pricing can be a bit of a hurdle for early-stage startups. With average open rates around 11%, it was somewhat difficult for my company to justify the ROI at first. That said performance improved over time.

“excellent crm for newsletters”
Pros
Every month, I use it to send out my real estate newsletter about three times to stay connected with my contacts and keep them updated on the market. It works really well as a CRM and it's also excellent for creating flyer and newsletter content.
Cons
Since I can be a bit of a slow learner, it took me quite a bit of customer support to understand all the features and details. That said their support team has been wonderful throughout the process.
