“handy interface but weak support”
Pros
Interface is easy to use and it comes with front-end development tools built in.
Cons
Customer support is practically nonexistent when help is needed, there's no phone number to call and email responses take an extremely long time. It also seems better suited for newsletter campaigns than for sales or transactional email needs.

“reliable delivery and simple workflow”
Pros
Our team relies on it every day and it's been very user-friendly and effective for what we need. The design options are a bit limited but there's still enough customization to make it work. We typically send emails to more than 400 people at a time and delivery and accessibility issues hardly ever come up.
Cons
More automation would make a big difference. Right now, I have to build a new recipient list every time I send a new email or whenever I add an address. I also wish it connected better with other tools so it could automatically update recipients or trigger sends based on how past recipients clicked. I know other platforms can handle that but they also tend to cost a lot more.

“Perfect marketing toolkit”
Pros
Being able to create my own promotional materials for my small businesses has been a huge plus. Anyone who has tried building a personal website and putting marketing strategies in place knows this is exactly the kind of tool you need.
Cons
Site can be a little tricky to navigate at times but that mostly comes from how much it offers.

“Great features for small lists”
Pros
After using it for more than five years, I still appreciate having access to features that make communicating with my small list feel effortless, all without needing to add another expense to my budget. My open rates usually land between 48% and 60% on the first send and the resend-to-unopened feature is something I really value. I also work with many solopreneurs who have very limited budgets so I often suggest it as a good starting point for managing their lists and building consistency as they grow.
Cons
The part that really annoys me is that users get counted every time they're added to a list. Tagging was introduced recently which helps but it can still feel a bit clunky when you're trying to use it alongside automation.

“mobile-ready templates I enjoy”
Pros
Adding images to email templates is quick and hassle-free and I really like that the platform automatically generates a mobile-friendly version.
Cons
Getting help when something goes wrong is frustrating because customer service is hard to reach. I ran into issues connecting my online store to my mailing list and the only support option available was the chat feature.

“drag-and-drop with useful reporting”
Pros
The drag-and-drop email builder makes campaign creation both simple and enjoyable. Subscriber management is easy and the reporting tools provide valuable insights into opens and engagement.
Cons
There was a bit of a learning curve at first when it came to understanding everything the platform can do but they provide helpful resources that guide you through how to use and implement the different features.

“advanced design and tracking tools”
Pros
Everything from email design to analytics and performance tracking feels simple. The additional advertising and postcard features are a nice bonus and the mobile app makes campaign monitoring convenient.
Cons
My only real complaint is that there isn't a built-in call button although it's still possible to add the code manually without too much trouble.

“responsive templates and useful insights”
Pros
Template responsiveness is one of the strongest aspects of the platform. Emails display properly across smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops while detailed reporting helps improve future campaign performance. Surveys and forms are easy to create and the wide selection of professional templates eliminates the need for HTML knowledge.
Cons
Interface is friendly enough but one frustrating issue is that it seems to change whenever a new update is released. Even if the team can relearn it fairly quickly, it still takes time for a newsletter team to adjust and that can slow work down unnecessarily. Another drawback is its strict stance toward affiliate marketers so anyone working in affiliate marketing should probably avoid it because the penalties seem to be quite serious. Pricing is also a concern. While the freemium version is fairly generous, the paid plans can get expensive fast once you need to send more emails and grow a larger subscriber list.

“versatile value for marketers”
Pros
Affordability, flexibility and ease of use make this platform stand out. It offers plenty of options for tracking, viewing and exporting campaign data making marketing tasks much more manageable.
Cons
My biggest frustration with the software is that custom coding is somewhat restricted because they have to follow rendering standards across different email clients like Google, Yahoo, Outlook and others.

“smart list upkeep”
Pros
List management is particularly impressive. The platform helps maintain clean contact databases, flags problematic uploads and offers extensive segmentation options, all while keeping pricing reasonable.
Cons
It tracks and compares records by email address rather than by contact name which can create issues. If someone asks to be removed from the list through one email but has several addresses on file, that could become a problem. I'm also not sure how well it connects with other databases. It works really well as a standalone tool but if you need integrations, that part is less clear.

“newsletter templates that deliver”
Pros
Professional newsletter creation becomes much faster with this software. The large template library saves significant time compared with coding emails from scratch while still allowing enough flexibility to create polished results.
Cons
The part that really frustrates me is background images in Outlook. You can't just add them and expect them to display properly there. Technically it's possible but only if you hand-code the email which defeats a lot of the convenience. It's pretty annoying and I still don't understand why there isn't already a built-in way to make background images appear in Outlook without having to code it yourself.

“crm integrations and friendly pricing”
Pros
Integration capabilities are a major advantage especially with CRM and eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce, Eventbrite and Shopify. The flexible pricing structure and free plan make it accessible for a wide range of users.
Cons
A few clients have mentioned that they don't receive marketing or promotional emails because Gmail sometimes sends them to the spam filter.

“strong newsletters and community reach”
Pros
Staying connected with my audience has been the biggest benefit of using this platform. It provides a reliable way to send newsletters, share updates and maintain ongoing communication with my community and customers.
Cons
Only improvement I'd really like to see is a wider selection of template designs for different industries, with more options that are ready to use and easier to access.

“advanced all-in-one marketing suite”
Pros
It's kind of mind-blowing how much this platform can handle. I keep discovering new things it's capable of which really shows how extensive the functionality is. From email and landing pages to both manual and automated workflows, it covers just about everything. If you want a single product to manage all of your digital marketing, this really feels like it can do it all.
Cons
That said this is easily one of the hardest software tools I've had to learn and I've even migrated ecommerce sites onto Magento. The company is excellent and the product itself is impressive but picking up new features takes a lot more time than it feels like it should.

“versatile email marketing standout”
Pros
Between personal projects and professional work, this tool has been excellent in both the free and paid versions. The free plan is a trimmed-down version of the paid one but it still lets you handle almost everything most users need, aside from adding their logo as a form of free promotion. On the paid side, we use it across a lot of client accounts and it's easily one of the most user-friendly platforms in the email marketing space. It also connects with plenty of other tools making it simple to move data in and out of the system. Template creation and day-to-day use are easy and the platform scales well as your business grows.
Cons
Honestly haven't run into any real downsides with the tool. They also keep updating and improving the product which makes the experience even better.

“free and great for starters”
Pros
As a new user, the free price point was hard to beat. It's capable enough to handle everything I needed and when I was just getting started, having a no-cost option made a big difference.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve and one limitation is that you can't send a campaign to multiple lists at the same time. If you want to send the same campaign to several lists, you have to do each one separately.

“reliable autoresponder starter”
Pros
Getting started with autoresponders feels much less intimidating with this tool. It really does a good job of acting like training wheels when you're new to it since the barrier to entry is low and you can pick up the core concepts very quickly. It covers all the features you actually need and the number of integrations available is massive, basically everything you could want is already there.
Cons
It definitely has a few weak spots. The UX feels a bit convoluted and could really use a redesign. Finding certain features is not very simple and sometimes you have to take a roundabout path just to do something simple. The pricing setup also feels a little nickel-and-dime. I get that they need to monetize but it would be much better if they clearly showed what is included for free and what each plan tier actually unlocks, instead of letting you sign up first and only then realize you're on the wrong tier.
