“Positive outlook”
Pros
The platform feels simple and well-designed from the outset, with a clean interface that makes organizing audiences and managing campaigns easy. It's also proven to be highly reliable even when handling frequent client emails at scale, with no noticeable issues in delivery or performance.
Cons
On the downside the design options feel limited unless you're very comfortable working with HTML. The templates are fairly basic and include a lot of whitespace so they're not always the most visually appealing choice.

“excellent integrations and insights”
Pros
Managing subscribers and tracking user activity becomes significantly easier here. The system provides clear insights into engagement while remaining simple enough that new users can learn the basics quickly. Strong integrations with other apps and website builders make it even more practical and the availability of tutorials and guides ensures support is always accessible. Whether used for simple mailing lists or more advanced automation and analytics, it performs consistently well across different needs.
Cons
The one thing I'd change is the way text editing works since it opens in a separate box instead of letting you edit directly in the live preview. I can see why it's set up that way but it can be confusing for people who are less experienced. That said the product keeps improving all the time and quite a few things I've found frustrating in the past have already been fixed. It's still a brilliant platform.

“Simple setup and branding”
Pros
Onboarding experience is especially smooth when using the free version for nonprofit work. Importing contacts from Excel, adding branding elements and embedding content like PDFs into emails can all be done without confusion making it approachable even for first-time users.
Cons
I haven't run into any problems or negative issues with it.

“Forever free email marketing win”
Pros
The "Forever Free" plan lowers the barrier to entry for beginners by allowing them to start email marketing without upfront costs. It provides enough functionality to build and run real campaigns while learning the system.
Cons
One limitation is that I can't properly segment or clean up my email list. If I want to improve open rates by removing subscribers who haven't opened my emails in months, that kind of targeting just isn't available here.

“free mailing list win”
Pros
Cost-effectiveness is one of its strongest advantages. The ability to upload contacts, build mailing lists and send bulk emails eliminates a lot of manual work and saves significant time compared to individual messaging.
Cons
I really didn't run into any problems with this software. It handled everything I needed it to do and even sent reminders for follow-up emails and customer birthdays. That ended up being really helpful for keeping customers engaged and coming back.

“Convenient emails and powerful automation”
Pros
After comparing multiple email marketing platforms, this one stands out for its simple workflow and professional output. It enables users to create polished emails without needing design or coding expertise while also offering powerful segmentation and automation tools that help improve targeting and overall campaign performance. Strong customer support adds further value.
Cons
Sometimes I wish the platform offered a wider variety of content blocks. It would also be really helpful to have the option to customize the "from" field using a tag or segment.

“clean newsletters and helpful tracking”
Pros
Mobile app and tracking features make it easy to monitor campaigns on the go. Email performance data is clear and useful and newsletters consistently maintain a professional appearance.
Cons
Every now and then the app version doesn't match the desktop experience especially when it comes to editing certain blocks which can be a bit limiting.

“fantastic design features”
Pros
User-friendliness is a consistent theme, with a flexible editor that supports images, videos, graphics and color customization. This makes it easy to create visually appealing and engaging emails.
Cons
My only real complaint is the technical support. When I first started using the platform, it was very simple to reach an actual person who could answer my questions. Since they changed their policies though, it can sometimes be more difficult to get the help or answers I need.

“powerful templates and fast delivery”
Pros
Wide feature coverage is another major strength. From list management and template creation to dynamic data integration and fast email delivery, the platform supports both marketing workflows and technical use cases effectively while reducing spam issues and improving reliability.
Cons
this service feels like it was built specifically for what I need. I really don't have any complaints about it. I use it for my own work and regularly recommend it to my clients as well.

“thorough opt-ins and testing”
Pros
The testing features have been really useful and the opt-in process is great. It feels very thorough in that area. I'm trying another product too and saw an incredible open rate with it but it still doesn't offer all of the opt-in options this one has available.
Cons
Getting the layout formatting right can be frustrating. Adjusting padding, line height, font size, spacing and similar details isn't very simple and it takes a lot of time to fine-tune everything. I also wish there were a clickable button option that could be placed over an image because that would be a huge plus. At one point I accidentally added the address block to my template three times in a row just from clicking which was kind of ridiculous. I doubt anyone ever scrolled far enough to notice though!

“Useful even for interns”
Pros
Coming into it as an intern at an agency, I wasn't familiar with the software at all but I was still able to use it confidently and walk a client through the process without much trouble.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is the ability to build and curate your own email list directly in the platform instead of having to rely on previously sourced data.

“effective customer outreach tools”
Pros
Managing customer mailouts feels much more easy with this tool especially since it removes the need to run or maintain a separate mail server. It keeps communication consistent and easy to handle.
Cons
There's a great range of ready-made templates available. The downside was that after an upgrade, I had to move over to different templates because the ones I was using were no longer supported.

“handy templates and automation”
Pros
Setup is quick and doesn't require much effort, supported by clear documentation throughout the platform. Built-in templates and strong automation tools make it especially suitable for small to mid-sized businesses.
Cons
Matching everything to a brand can be really frustrating especially when trying to get rid of that generic "it" look or apply custom fonts and colors. A few times, I've ended up losing an entire week just trying to make things line up with branding.

“adaptable email automation standout”
Pros
For someone who isn't a coder and doesn't plan to become one, this stands out as one of the cleanest and most accessible no-code email platforms available. Template automation, analytics and WooCommerce integration all add to its flexibility.
Cons
I still wish it had broader font integration, like Google Fonts or similar options. That's probably my designer side showing but I often end up making more graphics and using those as links instead of relying on the built-in buttons or text boxes. The design settings, like colors and mobile styling, can also feel a little tedious and easy to overlook until a preview shows something isn't quite right though the overall usability does make that easier to manage over time.

“Newsletter scheduling that performs”
Pros
Email newsletters, blog updates and customer notifications are all easy to manage here. Recipient lists can be organized into segments, reused emails save time and scheduling adds extra convenience for planned communication.
Cons
The design side feels somewhat limited. The templates are decent but I'd like the editing tools to be more flexible and dynamic. Another frustrating part is that once someone unsubscribes, adding that same email address back seems very difficult, maybe even impossible even if the person has given permission to rejoin.

“smart protection and flexible templates”
Pros
A major strength of this tool is its built-in protection features. It blocks emails from reaching unsubscribed users and flags risky imports while tagging and segmentation make list management much simpler.
Cons
At times the design editor can be a little glitchy. For example, you might update the font and then notice it doesn't actually apply to the email.

“Broad reach”
Pros

“time-saving templates and integration”
Pros
With ready-made templates and a simple setup process, designing emails becomes easy even without coding knowledge. The connection with Squarespace also helps align website and email workflows.
Cons
It doesn't include some of the more advanced tagging and sequence options that ConvertKit offers. That said I rarely rely on those features so it hasn't been a major issue for me.

“Perfect free plan for starters”
Pros
Access to a free version is a major advantage for beginners. It provides enough functionality to start building an email list while learning the platform and growing an audience.
Cons
One thing that bothers me is how duplicate names are counted as separate users toward the total limit. If a list is split into different segments and the same person appears under two tags, they end up being counted twice. A single contact should only count once no matter how many segments they belong to. I also feel the automation features could be stronger compared with other similar tools.

“great free email marketing”
Pros
One of the strongest benefits is the generous free tier which remains usable until 2,000 subscribers or 12,000 monthly emails. That allows users to grow before needing to invest financially.
Cons
I eventually ran out of templates to work with. I really wish there were more options available. For now, I just try to get creative with the ones they already offer.
