“excellent value for small businesses”
Pros
Since they first launched, it has remained very easy for small business owners to use. Overall it offers really strong value for the price. I regularly recommend it to new clients because the free plan includes emails for up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month which feels very generous.
Cons
One downside is that it can be extremely strict about unsubscribes and bounces. If your list is not very clean and you import it, the system may raise red flags and could even shut down your account.

“strong fit for growing teams”
Pros
Right from the start, this has felt like a really great tool. Getting up and running doesn't take much effort, the learning curve is manageable and it grows nicely alongside your needs. For most businesses, it offers more than enough functionality. It also connects very well with the third-party sales and marketing tools we already rely on and bringing in customer data and organizing information is pretty easy.
Cons
Once you reach a certain point the pricing starts to get expensive enough that it makes sense to seriously look at some enterprise-level alternatives. Still, for most businesses, it will cover nearly everything they need.

“flexible email controls”
Pros
One thing that really works well is how the email editor is built for just about anyone to use. It also does a fantastic job helping us manage and monitor our large email list. The user permission settings are another big plus since we can give team members limited access while still keeping overall control in one central place.
Cons
The only thing I'd really want added is phone support for those times when you need to talk an issue through with someone directly especially as a paying customer.

“Simple builder with helpful docs”
Pros
This has felt like the most simple email builder I've used so far. It makes email marketing feel very approachable even for people who know almost nothing about the internet but still want to use a powerful tool for their business. One of the biggest advantages is the documentation, it's organized in a way that's really simple to follow so whenever confusion comes up, the how-to guides and Q&A usually clear things up fast.
Cons
Coming from a design and front-end background, I do wish there were a bit more flexibility when it comes to customizing layouts. The platform feels somewhat restrictive in that area. That structure is probably a plus for beginners and even intermediate users but for anyone wanting more control over the design, the customization options don't go quite far enough.

“top-tier email campaign platform”
Pros
The user experience feels top-notch. It covers pretty much everything needed for email marketing, whether you're working solo or as part of a large agency. It's also a trusted platform for email campaigns so even using the free version with their branding doesn't take away from the professionalism of the campaign.
Cons
The only downside is that not every company I work with will adopt it since some already rely on bigger marketing systems that are built into the software they currently use.

“BEST tools”
Pros
Setting up groups feels easy for me and I can easily search and remove users when needed. Scheduling and canceling emails is also simple for me to manage without confusion.
Cons
From time to time, formatting problems would show up almost like small glitches. The tricky part was that they didn't appear in the preview stage and only became noticeable during testing.

“Amazing email marketing wins”
Pros
After importing a mailing list, the interface stays easy for me to use and I can quickly schedule emails and add personalized headers with user names to improve engagement. The layout feels simple to me and I learned it quickly for marketing use. I've also used the analytics to refine campaigns and I was able to improve engagement by tracking what actually works for my audience.
Cons
A frustrating part is that I still have to add new users to the mailing list manually and in my version there's no way to automate the list or pull in new users from a form. It would also be more useful if the analytics went further by offering clearer performance insights and actual suggestions for improving email engagement. Right now, the analytics feel a bit limited especially for larger-scale marketing campaigns and more guidance or solutions for low engagement would make a big difference.

“fantastic templates and automation”
Pros
Free access to a tool that performs this well feels like a big advantage for me. It's popular for a reason and I find it reliable for its purpose. Built-in templates and a simple setup make it easy for me to manage client campaigns and even guide others through setup during screen shares. Automation also helps me schedule messages in advance so campaigns can run on their own after setup.
Cons
It's worth noting that this isn't really an email marketing platform for reaching out to brand-new prospects. It works with lists you've already built, where people have opted in to hear from you. I get why that limitation exists but it would still be really nice if it supported true prospecting campaigns as well.

“Limiting features”
Pros
Audience segmentation becomes more useful as marketing gets more advanced and I find it easy to work with once everything is set up. It helps me target users based on engagement without much extra effort.
Cons
Saving people into specific segments or setting up personalization rules to move them between segments isn't very easy and that can limit what you're able to do as your email strategy gets more advanced. It also seems like deliverability may be lower although I've never been able to clearly measure how much of an impact that has.

“advanced email design and value”
Pros
Among the platforms I've used, this one stands out as a strong option for me. It is simple to configure, flexible to adjust and the email designer helps me create polished campaigns. I see it as a good fit for businesses of different sizes because it balances features and affordability.
Cons
It really does exactly what it was built to do and over the years they've continued adding more tools to make it even better. If I had one thing on my wishlist, it would be more customer segmentation options since that would make an already powerful platform even more capable.

“effective list-building starter”
Pros
List building feels especially valuable for me since email lists drive results. I can start small and grow gradually without pressure and I've found it flexible enough to adapt to different client needs.
Cons
One issue that has consistently come up is duplicate email addresses. Because pricing is based on subscribers, one person showing up on three different lists gets counted as three separate subscribers which can get frustrating fast.

“wide range of marketing tools”
Pros
Compared with other tools like Constant Contact, this platform feels easier for me to use regardless of my background. I also like that it extends into social media which lets me publish content directly while managing lists and integrations more efficiently.
Cons
As a designer I do run into some limitations with the templates they offer. Emails created in the system also have a pretty recognizable look so if you've used the platform before, it's usually obvious where the email came from.

Pros
Integration support is strong for me and I can quickly connect it with other tools I already use. Exporting lists takes little time and campaign creation is smooth especially when setting up e-commerce email flows.

Pros
Free access makes it easier for me to get started without financial pressure and I can learn the platform properly before committing. Many other tools limit access too quickly but this one gives me enough time to understand how it works.

“simple setup and clean builder”
Pros
Setup feels easy for me and the email builder is easy to use. I find it suitable for basic email marketing needs without requiring advanced skills.
Cons
I may have missed a way to do it but I couldn't get a multistep email campaign set up. I also wasn't able to create an automated email connected to Shopify for sending review requests after a customer makes a purchase. That part is a major issue for us and it may end up pushing us to switch to another provider.

“Great start for email marketing”
Pros
Learning email marketing with this platform feels easy for me even without prior experience because the interface is simple and beginner-friendly.
Cons
This platform feels more geared toward beginners in email marketing or businesses that don't really need advanced tools. If you're looking for deeper segmentation event-based options, or more ways to fine-tune and optimize campaigns, it may not be the right fit.

“reliable mailing list but Gmail issues”
Pros
When it comes to keeping a mailing list up and running, this platform does the job it promises. That's the biggest plus here, it actually works the way it's supposed to.
Cons
One thing that still needs attention is deliverability especially with Gmail. Emails sent through the platform can end up in users' junk folders and that's a feature they really should improve.

“Excellent email marketing platform”
Pros
As the largest email provider in this space, it earns that reputation by covering just about everything you'd expect for bulk email creation, delivery and reporting.
Cons
The two biggest downsides are the price and the limited automation. I'd be fine paying that much if there were more true "set it and forget it" options for email campaigns.

“beautiful emails every time”
Pros
Putting together polished, professional-looking emails with this software has been a really positive experience. There is a slight learning curve at first especially for anyone who is not very tech-savvy but the recent update has made it much more welcoming for beginners. You can start with pre-made templates or build your own from scratch and there is a lot of room to be creative with the design. The final result consistently looks clean, sharp and professional. Once your contact list is in place and you have a template you like, creating attractive, high-quality emails becomes very quick.
Cons
There is still a little bit to learn if you have never used this kind of software before. It is not difficult but it does take some patience to explore all the available options, particularly if you want to customize your designs more heavily. Another thing to keep in mind is that any photos you want to use need to be uploaded into the platform first and that process can take some time. If your internet connection is slow, uploading larger images can definitely feel frustrating. That was something I did not fully consider when I first estimated how much time setup would take but after the photos are uploaded, they are ready to use instantly in any template or design.
