adaptable and convenient overall

Pros

It's very simple, flexible and simple to work with which makes it pleasant to use on a daily basis.

Cons

At the end of the day it still functions mainly as an email platform. They've begun adding some marketing automation sequence features but it doesn't really qualify as a full marketing automation solution. On top of that, the integration with external databases like Salesforce isn't always reliable or convenient.

simple campaign tracking

Pros

The platform is very user-friendly. Setting up communication campaigns is easy and tracking the results is just as simple.

Cons

Bulk email sending can run into problems if your mail server is hosted on-premises. We first chose to send emails internally rather than use their mail servers and had to deal with blacklists and hardware bottlenecks before getting everything working properly.

wordpress integration that performs

Pros

Connecting it with WordPress was easy and it does a really good job of helping us manage multiple client accounts without any hassle.

Cons

There's not much to complain about. If I had to point out anything, the drag-and-drop feature can occasionally feel a little less responsive than we'd prefer but it's only a minor issue.

user-friendly email marketing tools

Pros

Putting together, organizing and launching email marketing campaigns feels very easy with this software and I find the interface easy to navigate when managing day-to-day work.

Cons

It would be even better if it included a wider selection of templates and a few more graphic design features.

Easy setup and audience targeting

Pros

This platform was simple to use and it guided me step by step while I customized emails and selected my target audience without any difficulty on my side.

Cons

There wasn't much to dislike. It's pretty basic overall but it handled exactly what I needed for putting together a quick mailing about specials and promotions.

affordable outreach with great options

Pros

The platform gives smaller teams and individuals a practical entry point into marketing tools that usually feel out of reach and I've found it useful even without a dedicated marketing department in my setup.

Cons

One thing to keep in mind is that there are quite a few limitations tied to anti-spam email laws, FTC rules and similar compliance requirements and those aren't necessarily made clear before you buy and start running campaigns. You end up learning pretty quickly that you can't use it to blast emails to mass purchased lists because they're trying to avoid violations. Your contact lists need to be organically collected, whether that's through your website, an ATS landing page, job postings, ads, or similar sources, before they can be used in the platform. So if the plan is to buy a list from a recruitment organization and email thousands of cold candidates, that will likely get flagged. You also have to stay on top of candidates who asked to be removed and make sure they are not contacted again if you want to remain compliant.

helpful subscriber lists and templates

Pros

Managing subscriber lists stays easy and I can quickly remove contacts when needed for compliance while I personally prefer using templates since I don't always rely on coding in my workflow.

Cons

Every now and then the editor gets a little buggy and may wipe out your progress. Because of that, I usually build my HTML emails in a text editor first and then paste them into the online editor so I know everything will stay correct.

free start with strong templates

Pros

Starting new campaigns with smaller lists at no cost is a big advantage and I often use ready-made templates that save time while still letting me adjust things to my needs.

Cons

One thing that's frustrating is how difficult it is to undo things and avoid charges once you go past the limit. I get why they monetize it that way but it's still tough to explain to clients that they can't add two email addresses for one person if they're trying not to exceed their cap.

fantastic monthly email design

Pros

Monthly emails are handled smoothly and I rely on the system to keep my communication consistent while I focus more on content rather than technical setup.

Cons

I just wish the smaller plans offered a bit more flexibility.

handy email privacy option

Pros

Having a separate email system like this helps me keep my personal inbox clean and I use it mainly to manage communication in a more structured way.

Cons

I do get quite a bit of spam but it's simple enough to delete and move on.

fantastic for email marketing beginners

Pros

Coming into email marketing with little experience, I found the platform easy to adapt to after a short learning period and I personally started using templates heavily to reduce setup time and effort.

Cons

If you're a complete beginner, there can be a bit of a learning curve at the start. An interactive pop-up guide or some kind of built-in walkthrough would be really helpful for new users.

Bulk email lifesaver

Pros

Bulk emailing during consultancy work became much more manageable for me especially when handling large lists and I could also track engagement when recipients allowed it.

Cons

Free or trial version does come with daily and weekly sending limits and there's also a cap on how many subscribers you can have. That said upgrading to the paid plan fixes those restrictions and in my opinion it's absolutely worth it if you need to send to more than 2,000 clients.

basic setup but outdated list tools

Pros

Getting started only takes a few minutes and I can set up and run campaigns quickly while also connecting it to websites and forms that help me collect subscribers without extra complexity.

Cons

The downside is that it feels far too basic if you need anything more advanced. List segmentation and management, for instance, are very confusing and feel outdated. There's no way to unsubscribe someone across the entire system since it only works on a list-by-list basis so you have to remove them manually from each one. You also can't start an email from a blank template unless you code it yourself or use their plain text option. On top of that, adding a contact is tedious because you have to manually place them into each list one at a time and there's no option to add them to multiple lists all at once.

budget-friendly email access

Pros

Running a small business with a tight budget, I've stuck with the free version and it's been a really great fit. I don't send a huge volume of emails and my customer list is only around 800 people so it covers what I need well. Even without design experience, there's plenty of flexibility to work from one of the templates or just upload your own images and the finished emails still come out looking quite polished and professional. Being able to schedule when a campaign goes out is really helpful and the A/B subject line testing has been especially useful since I rely on that feature a lot.

Cons

there's very little here that bothers me. The only real limitation with the free plan is the cap of 1,000 emails per day. That's manageable for what I do but if you have a much bigger customer list or send campaigns often, you'll most likely need to move to a paid plan.

quick setup !!

Pros

It was very easy to use. We barely needed any help to set things up, from building lists and templates to authenticating our domain so it could send emails on our behalf.

Cons

One thing it's missing is the ability to automate multi-RSS email campaigns. Thankfully, FlipRSS handles that well and integrates nicely with it but it would be much better if this feature were built in so we wouldn't need to rely on another platform.

Adaptable and simple free tool

Pros

The interface feels fairly simple and user-friendly so it doesn't take long to get comfortable with it. I also appreciate how customizable it is, along with its great ability to integrate well with other apps.

Cons

A drawback that really stands out is how emails sent through this platform tend to land in Gmail's Promotions tab instead of the Primary inbox. Because of that, messages are much more likely to be missed or treated like junk mail.

Great for nonprofit newsletters

Pros

Nonprofit organizations can use it at no cost!! It works really well for connecting with subscribers through newsletters. On top of that, creating a visually attractive email is very simple and it also includes A/B testing plus the option to send test emails to yourself so you can check exactly how recipients will see them. That feature is especially useful.

Cons

Feature I like least is that the design flexibility can feel limited at times when you're trying to customize how an email looks. For instance, when adding an image, you can only choose the general direction or layout of the photo instead of placing it exactly where you want. That can be frustrating because it sometimes takes away from the overall visual appeal of the email.

simple and reliable for email lists

Pros

Using it has been a pleasure. The platform feels simple, user-friendly and consistently handles exactly what it's meant to do. I've used it to manage subscriber lists ranging from fewer than a hundred contacts to hundreds of thousands without any trouble. As a marketing coach and consultant, I often suggest it to my small business clients because it's very quick to pick up and start using. It may not include some of the advanced marketing automation features found in larger digital marketing suites but for many small businesses, it offers everything they actually need.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about it.

useful campaign builder

Pros

The platform is very easy to work with, with a clean interface, handy drag-and-drop design tools and a great campaign builder. Another big plus is that you can use their service for free if you send fewer than 12,000 emails per month which makes it a really practical way to test the product. We now use it as our primary subscription and newsletter service.

Cons

Template selection feels a little limited so it can reduce flexibility to some degree.

Fast delivery and rich features

Pros

I like how quickly emails reach their destination. The servers are reliable and fast so messages are delivered on time without much hassle. It's also very user-friendly while still offering plenty of features. I genuinely enjoy using it for both my business and personal communication.

Cons

There really aren't many downsides from what I've seen but the customer service could definitely be improved. Aside from that, I consider it better than Gmail.
