“clean interface with quick campaign launches”
Pros
Clean interface made setup feel simple and I was able to launch campaigns quickly while connecting forms and APIs without much trouble.
Cons
There was a bit of a learning curve at first when it came to understanding the difference between campaigns and templates. After going through a few helpdesk articles though, it became much clearer when to use each one and how they're meant to be applied.

“Handy mailing list workflow”
Pros
Adding subscribers, managing groups and sending bulk emails all feel easy which makes the entire process easy for me from start to finish.
Cons
Downside is that there aren't enough options to personalize or customize emails in a way that makes them look more visually appealing. It's also frustrating that the platform doesn't seem to have stronger relationships with many mail servers so a significant number of messages still end up in recipients' spam folders.

“Newsletter control I love”
Pros
My business newsletter is much easier to manage with this software and I especially like being able to schedule mailings in advance while allowing readers to subscribe on their own.
Cons
Biggest issue for me is the sending email address since messages often come from an address that gets flagged as spam. Because of that, I have to remind customers to add that address to their contacts or address book so they actually receive my updates. If I do not warn them, only a small number of customers end up getting the newsletter which is frustrating. I would much rather have the emails sent from my actual business email address.

“useful templates and mailing tools”
Pros
Distribution list management is simple, the template builders are highly useful and Mandrill has been a reliable solution for handling transactional emails in my experience.
Cons
Getting through customer support can be a little confusing at times. We've also run into a few reliability issues with Mandrill in the past but even with that, it's still a strong option for handling almost any email need.

“best for custom email campaigns”
Pros
Out of all the email marketing tools I've used, this one has been the best by a wide margin. The part I appreciate most is how much control it gives me to customize my emails exactly the way I want.
Cons
Only downside for me is that the templates feel a bit too basic. That said they're still usable and work just fine.

“clean email outreach tool”
Pros
Getting a message in front of a large audience quickly is where this platform really helps. It's clear they put a lot of effort into making the interface user-friendly and the design feels very clean. I use it with several clients and putting together a mass email is simple, plus importing and exporting lists is very easy.
Cons
I do wish it offered stronger tracking tools. Compared with the other mass email platforms I use, this one has the fewest tracking options and extra features. It would be much better if it included things like tracking, coding capabilities, signup form creation and more.

“reliable campaigns and useful updates”
Pros
Over the past three years this platform has consistently provided reliable service along with genuinely useful updates. Setting up campaigns is very easy and the tutorials are well put together and helpful in my day-to-day work.
Cons
There are still a few limitations on the design side. It would also be better if it offered deeper insights into campaign results, possibly with some AI-powered analysis.

“Great campaigns and free contacts”
Pros
These days automation feels like a must and this one covers the basics really well. The campaigns run reliably and setting them up doesn't take much effort. Getting 2000 contacts for free is also a nice bonus when you're just getting started.
Cons
When a mailing list gets rejected, fixing everything afterward can be pretty frustrating. The Facebook Ads connection also took a bit of work to figure out.

“clean setup for newsletters”
Pros
Connecting this platform to a static HTML website is very easy and developers can quickly link forms through the API while marketers like me can manage lists and newsletter signups without needing technical expertise.
Cons
Things can become a bit complicated when you want to fully customize your website forms. If you need them to match your brand exactly, you'll probably need someone with CSS knowledge although that's fairly common with most email marketing tools. The feature set is mostly limited to email marketing and lead generation through forms so if you need a complete marketing automation platform with advanced list management and complex conditional drip campaigns, you'll likely have to look elsewhere. Creating more advanced automation can be challenging especially on the free plan. It also starts to feel expensive as your contact list gets bigger.

“perfect templates and user-friendly setup”
Pros
The drag-and-drop templates make creating professional-looking emails simple and I can build polished campaigns without spending much time on design work.
Cons
In the end, we switched to a different email platform because we needed more automation options. That was the biggest downside for us.

“newsletter setup felt inviting”
Pros
Newsletters feel easy to launch with this software because it removes much of the technical complexity and I found myself exploring more features as I became comfortable with the platform.

“beautiful mobile-friendly email templates”
Pros
Creating attractive, mobile-responsive email templates is easy which is especially important when I want campaigns to look great across different devices.

“flexible integrations and mobile access”
Pros
Integration with platforms like WordPress and Squarespace works really well and I appreciate having all my newsletter subscriptions managed in one place while staying productive on mobile.
Cons
I'd really like to see improved the ability to send email newsletters without the company logo being included. Not every business operates at a large scale or has huge amounts of traffic so paying for a premium account doesn't always make sense. It would be much better if there were a free option that still allowed users to remove the logo.

“great capabilities, pricing and fun extras”
Pros
The platform includes nearly everything I need from an email marketing solution and the pricing feels reasonable. I also enjoyed the personal touches that made the experience feel more engaging and memorable.
Cons
Feature I really struggle with is the rebrand. I much preferred the older look because it had a bright, fun, slightly hipster personality while the current branding feels odd, bland and just not very appealing to me. I can accept that not every design change is going to match my taste but the bright yellow background is where it becomes a real issue. It actually hurts my eyes and having that color everywhere makes it uncomfortable to spend time on the screen. At that point, the branding stops being just a style choice and starts affecting both my comfort and my productivity.

“reliable and user-friendly tool”
Pros
This remains one of the most user-friendly and effective marketing tools I've worked with and the support team has always been helpful whenever I needed assistance.
Cons
Tracking features could be improved and the analytics should offer more detailed information. Other than that, it's a really great software to use.

“Useful automation for small teams”
Pros
For small businesses, the automation features are especially useful and I like being able to manage multiple lists while keeping customer follow-ups organized.
Cons
For me one ongoing challenge for our business has been the integration with our e-commerce platform, BigCommerce. Their customer service has been wonderful in helping us troubleshoot it but the issue still hasn't been fully resolved and that impacts our automations when they rely on e-commerce data to function.

“Handy tagging and fair pricing”
Pros
Interface feels simple, the pricing is fair and the tagging functionality has made it much easier for me to organize contacts and build email funnels.
Cons
Duplicate email addresses are counted separately. If the same person is on three different lists, you end up being charged as though they were three different contacts.

“Supportive campaigns and clear setup”
Pros
Launching email sequences can be stressful at first but this platform simplifies the process and guides me through list building, campaign creation and email design step by step.
Cons
I'd really like to see a bigger selection of high-quality pre-designed templates. The drag-and-drop editor is user-friendly and even someone without a design background can still put together polished, professional-looking emails but the platform would be stronger with more ready-made template options. With tools like Squarespace becoming more popular, it seems like more people want attractive templates they can start using right away.

“Fun campaign tools”
Pros
As long as I'm not building something overly advanced, the platform handles list management, template storage, campaign tracking and email creation very effectively and I still enjoy its quirky personality throughout the interface.
Cons
Email formatting tools do have some limits. A lot of the time, I had to handle specific design details in another program first, then upload the finished image as a header or similar element. I'd guess plenty of other users do the same because once you need more intricate formatting inside the email itself, the process gets pretty awkward.

“Attractive newsletters for indie authors”
Pros
The free plan is a major advantage and I can create attractive newsletters without needing to invest in a paid plan right away.
Cons
Interface felt just average to me and at times it took a few attempts to get everything looking the way I wanted. As an independent author, I also can't justify the cost once the list goes beyond 2,000 subscribers.
