“delightful newsletters and strong delivery”
Pros
Putting together attractive newsletters for our website subscribers has been a pleasure with this software. It's very simple to get around and the drag-and-drop builder is flexible enough to add components without any hassle. Connecting it with our WordPress blog was easy as well. Deliverability has been consistently strong and the campaign analytics give us great insight into performance. Another big plus is that it's free until you reach 2,000 subscribers.
Cons
One thing that has been frustrating is duplicating previous campaigns when I want to reuse them with just a few small changes. On top of that, the pricing climbs pretty fast once you move beyond the free tier.

“powerful email campaign results”
Pros
Running email campaigns with this tool has been a really good experience. The features are simple to use which helps get the work done faster and saves a lot of time. It also comes with a variety of templates that can make campaigns much more effective. One of the biggest advantages is being able to customize the target audience for each mailing campaign. On top of that, the analytics let you track campaign performance and plan future emails accordingly.
Cons
The basic version feels limited in features compared to the pro version and upgrading requires paying a fairly high price compared with other email marketing services.

“perfect for template builder”
Pros
The template builder is simple to use and still offers plenty of powerful functionality.
Cons
Managing lists can be a bit complicated and since pricing is based on the number of stored contacts rather than the ones actively being used or emailed, it often results in exporting lists. Because of that, unsubscribes and bounces are not always tracked accurately.

“excellent for email marketing”
Pros
When it comes to email marketing, this is the platform I go with first. It's simple to use, free and the support team is very friendly and helpful.
Cons
At times, if you just want to put together something very small and basic, it can feel a bit difficult to do with this tool.

“creative email tools I rely on”
Pros
One thing that's been really useful is being able to import an email list instead of typing every contact in by hand. There are plenty of creative tools, styling choices and format options to work with which gives us a lot of flexibility. I also appreciate being able to choose from a pre-set recipient list or pick individual contacts when needed. Another feature I really value is the email tracking after sending. It gives us a much clearer picture of what content is working, what should be left out and which recipients we need to pay more attention to.
Cons
A feature that still gives me trouble is adding images and videos. A more user-friendly image sizing tool would make that process a lot better. It would also be much more helpful if actual video files could be embedded directly instead of only adding links to videos.

“best free option available”
Pros
Among free tools, this one feels like the strongest option out there. It handles basic needs really well and setting up campaigns is quite easy. Getting everything implemented is simple too which makes it very practical for everyday use.
Cons
The paid version doesn't really match the quality of the free one. It's missing features needed to build more advanced campaigns and the segmentation options feel somewhat limited compared with other platforms.

“next-gen templates and flexibility”
Pros
There's a huge selection of templates to work with. The interface feels a bit outdated but the platform is very powerful under the hood. If you're on a paid plan and comfortable with code, you can build and customize just about anything you need.
Cons
Interface isn't the most simple and setting up and creating campaigns could definitely be made much simpler. That said I can understand that a platform built to handle lists of 100k+ subscribers is going to be designed differently than one meant for someone managing only 100 subscribers.

“versatile free plan for email campaigns”
Pros
The free version provides an impressive amount of functionality which has been valuable for both my corporate work and freelance projects. I find it easy to customize and managing email campaigns and contact lists feels very efficient.
Cons
My only real complaint is that it's not completely all-in-one when it comes to building your final product. Even though you can create the email blasts inside the platform, I still ended up relying on outside editing software to make everything look exactly the way I wanted.

“wordpress setup and gdpr win”
Pros
Installing it on WordPress was quick and easy for me. It works reliably with WordPress websites and also helps support GDPR compliance requirements.
Cons
Although it works well with WordPress overall, we still needed to add a separate plugin to make sure posts could be sent through it to subscribers.

“simple layout and generous free plan”
Pros
Interface is simple and well organized making it easy for me to find features without wasting time. Compared to other newsletter platforms I've tried, this one feels much more user-friendly and the generous free plan is a major advantage.
Cons
One thing that let me down a bit is the templates. They look good when you can fill each section exactly as intended but once you have more or less text or a different number of images, the layout starts to look awkward. It's not completely the software's fault but I do wish the templates were more flexible and could handle different amounts of content while still keeping their visual appeal.

“reliable support over the years”
Pros
Customer support has remained dependable throughout my years of using the platform. Whenever I've needed assistance, I've been able to get the help I needed.
Cons
One thing I'd really like to see improved is more detailed control over which emails can or can't be sent to subscribers. Once an automation is set up, you're pretty much locked into it and can't really tweak it afterward.

“keeps pace with marketing trends”
Pros
One thing I appreciate is how the platform continues to evolve. Regular updates help keep it aligned with current technology and marketing trends which benefits me as a user.
Cons
Like a lot of software built before the SaaS era, it could do a better job supporting collaboration between multiple users. Working on a corporate email is rarely something handled by just one person.

“useful tracking but limited scaling”
Pros
Various tools of this software make troubleshooting much easier for me. I can quickly identify who sent an email and determine what caused any delivery issues.
Cons
It doesn't scale well for larger businesses and the better option at that point is usually to move to a different mailing platform.

“handy automation and beginner-friendly tools”
Pros
Automation is one of the strongest features for me because it handles newsletters, blog updates and marketing emails without constant manual effort. The drag-and-drop editor is also easy to use especially for beginners and the free subscriber limit covers my current needs.
Cons
Some of the settings feel a bit tedious and take time to understand especially the email automation setup. There's definitely a learning curve there and that could be frustrating for some users. The subscription pricing also feels a little expensive if you need to go beyond the subscriber limit included in the free plan.

“powerful campaign automation”
Pros
Creating marketing campaigns is fast thanks to the modern templates and automation tools. I can segment audiences, track engagement, retarget users and ensure campaigns look professional across both desktop and mobile devices.
Cons
There are only three pricing plans available, Free, Growing Business and Professional. That setup works well enough but the jump to the Professional tier feels pretty steep. A middle option with a few more features than Growing Business would make the pricing structure a lot more flexible.

“fantastic templates and real value”
Pros
The template library saves me a significant amount of time because I don't have to design every email from scratch. I can focus more on content creation while keeping costs low through the free plan.
Cons
Support can occasionally take a little while to respond but in four years of using it I've only needed help once. When I did get in touch, everything went perfectly and my issue was resolved within minutes. Fantastic!

Pros
This platform made it much easier for me to learn email marketing fundamentals. I was able to build landing pages, create welcome and nurture campaigns, upload lead lists and gain hands-on experience using the free version.

“triple charges for subscribers!!”
Pros
Back when it first launched, this felt like the most complete option for smart email marketing and the pricing was very competitive too. I still absolutely love the email editor because it makes building beautiful newsletters really simple.
Cons
Part I really can't stand is having to pay for every subscriber every time that person appears on one of my lists. If the same contact is on three different lists, I end up paying three times for that one person.
