“Flexible option for new businesses”
Pros
Getting started with this as a new business felt pretty practical because the free plan covers most of the basics you need in the beginning. You can store a large number of leads without paying although what you can actually do with those leads is still somewhat limited. The email templates and the different integrations also performed well for my needs. Another plus is the extensive knowledge base which has plenty of helpful information when you only need light support. If committing to a monthly payment does not make sense, there is also the option to purchase credits and pay only as you use the service. That was especially helpful when I was still unsure about what plan I actually needed since it gave me a way to try things out first.
Cons
Navigation was one of the harder parts to get used to. The menus did not feel simple and it took me a while to find the settings and options I was looking for. A lot of things seemed placed somewhere other than where you would normally expect them. It also is not really set up to encourage using multiple lists. Instead, the platform pushes you toward segmenting and tagging contacts which can work but it becomes inconvenient when you want to quickly see the numbers at a glance. To do that, you have to dig around, search through contacts and isolate the tags you want to target. On top of that, the number of emails you can send each month is capped depending on the plan you choose.

“Making audience engagement enjoyable”
Pros
Using this mailing system for my website has been a really enjoyable experience. I've tried other platforms before and this one makes sharing information with my audience feel simple and fun. It's also nice being able to experiment with new ideas and features.
Cons
One thing I wasn't thrilled about is that when a new subscriber joins, the welcome email will sometimes get sent to people who were already on my mailing list.

“Convenient marketing from anywhere”
Pros
One thing that makes this service stand out is how unique it feels. The best part is being able to use it while on the go, there's no coding involved, you just send emails. The lists are well organized, the templates are clean and simple and the automation works reliably.
Cons
Design and API are updated constantly which can create problems especially when you need to send an urgent newsletter.

“Dependable email delivery every time”
Pros
Among the top tools in its category, this platform does a really good job of getting emails delivered to your contacts consistently.
Cons
The downside is the pricing, it's quite expensive and the fact that billing is based on the number of contacts makes it even costlier.

“Built for lean communication teams”
Pros
Our lean communications team benefits a lot from the easy design and testing setup which makes it simple to put together appealing, trackable messages for both internal updates and external announcements.
Cons
One frustration is that the web interface gets updated so frequently that things are not always where users expect them to be. It usually leads to a better overall product in the end but a login pop-up explaining what changed would make those updates much easier to follow.

Free Trial
“Trusted software with strong integrations”
Pros
This platform is simple since there's a free trial and the company has been around for a long time which adds some confidence. It also connects with a wide range of online tools so the existing integrations are a big plus.
Cons
Updated pricing model is confusing for the average user and honestly doesn't make much sense. On top of that, the dashboard UI/UX really needs a full refresh because it can be difficult to find things and some options are placed in spots that feel illogical.

“Creating newsletters has never been easier”
Pros
Customizing my electronic newsletter is very easy and I really appreciate being able to insert videos directly from different online video platforms.
Cons
It has been very useful for moving our newsletters into a more digital format. Since several people in my organization use the same stories to reach different clients some of our messages have been flagged as spam. That said the team has worked with us to help reduce that issue.

“not competitive enough!!”
Pros
Getting started with it is fairly easy and it works with most websites and page builders. That makes it possible to put together an email form quickly and begin sending traffic to build your email list. Their support team is also responsive and tends to reply fast when you need help.
Cons
At the same time, it's missing the depth and functionality needed to really compete with other options on the market. I wouldn't consider going back to it because the platform simply doesn't cover everything I need. On top of that, I know several people whose accounts were wrongly shut down for supposed terms-of-service violations. They were suddenly locked out and lost all of their email contacts without any warning. These weren't shady businesses either, they were normal small businesses and local mom-and-pop shops, including a florist.

“flexible pricing and fast email design”
Pros
One thing that really works well here is the tiered pricing. Having costs based on the number of contacts for each client makes a lot of sense for us. The drag-and-drop email builder is another big plus since it lets us put together and send emails quickly without much effort. It's simple to get a campaign ready and out the door within minutes.
Cons
One feature I still wish it had is a direct sync with our clients' internal databases so we wouldn't need to manually upload customer information every time.

“reliable email marketing for growing teams”
Pros
After using it for more than three years, I can say it performs really well for businesses with small to medium-sized databases. It's a strong fit for start-ups working with limited budgets and it also suits medium-sized companies that need an efficient, user-friendly email marketing platform.
Cons
There are times when the system feels a little slow and the way images are managed in the library could definitely be improved. Pricing also seems to rise quite a bit as your database gets larger.

“powerful opt-in and audience tools”
Pros
My mail opt-in campaigns were up and running was really easy and deploying them on WordPress was just as simple. I can also manage my audience well, send follow-up emails and segment people with tags which makes the whole process very convenient.
Cons
Automation side is a little harder to set up than I expected and I still miss some of the more advanced mapping and tagging features I used to have with Infusionsoft.

“strong email marketing foundation”
Pros
Right from the start, it covers all the core features needed to begin with email marketing. They're also putting more focus on e-commerce integrations now which adds a lot of capabilities that basic email marketing tools usually don't offer.
Cons
One limitation is that the free plan doesn't allow much room to test flows and customer journeys. It also still lacks a native Shopify plugin.

“perfect for growing lists”
Pros
With so many email management tools available, this one really stands out especially for anyone just getting started with building a list. The free features give you plenty of room to learn how the product works and once your list starts growing, you can simply pay for the features you need.
Cons
A downside is that support for some integrations with other platforms has started to disappear which can make things more challenging if you were already relying on a platform that is no longer supported.

“wordpress integration that delivers”
Pros
Connecting it with my WordPress site was very easy and building contact lists from the form submissions on my website takes hardly any effort. It makes it simple to keep track of new contacts and send emails out to them.
Cons
Only thing I'd change is adding a few more features to the free version although I understand they have to make money somehow. Aside from that, I really don't have any complaints.

“donor outreach win”
Pros
Having separate groups for email campaigns has been a huge benefit for us. Using it to communicate with our donors and supporters has really made a meaningful difference for our organization.
Cons
Right now, there really isn't anything I can point to as a downside. We genuinely enjoy using the platform and even with the size limits on the free version, it still met our needs well.

“Great email tools and templates”
Pros
Right out of the gate, this software feels really great for the basics. It handles email functionality well, keeps contact management easy on a basic level, offers the core design tools I need and the predesigned email templates are a nice bonus.
Cons
There's still room for improvement in a few areas. Tracking and analytics could definitely be stronger, the design templates would be better if they were more customizable and having dynamic content would make the platform even more useful.

“Simple setup and strong integrations”
Pros
Even without being especially tech-savvy, I was able to get comfortable with it quickly. The interface felt simple, setup took very little time and I had it doing exactly what I needed almost right away. It fit my needs perfectly. My favorite part was the integration capability especially since it works really well with so many other products.
Cons
Only real challenge was that it comes with a lot of features and I had a bit of trouble understanding all of them or seeing how each one could help with what I was trying to do. The features themselves are valuable but I'd appreciate clearer explanations or a more simple tutorial.

“reusable templates that save time”
Pros
Creating one template and reusing it week after week has been really convenient. It's very easy to make small updates so it lines up with whatever campaign we're running which makes the whole process simple and efficient.
Cons
Okay so the only limitation has been the maximum number of emails allowed per user although I understand that not everything can be free. We worked around it by setting up separate accounts for different parts of the business, like takeaway, the restaurant and our butcher shop.

“powerful features and analytics”
Pros
Packed with features, this platform still has a user-friendly interface and feels very approachable to work with. It's also cost-effective, does a really good job engaging visitors from any channel and provides excellent analytics. The rule-based marketing automation is especially valuable for follow-ups and helping convert leads.
Cons
There's nothing major to complain about. If anything, it would be even better if they held webinars from time to time to walk users through new features and share best practices.

“clean templates and user-friendly design”
Pros
Getting started with it was very easy and the platform feels incredibly user friendly from the start. The marketing tools and templates are clean, polished and really simple to customize for different needs.
Cons
Connecting it with CRMs has been difficult. We have around 19,000 contacts in our CRM but we do not want to sync every single one of them. Right now, the only way to link the two systems seems to be syncing the entire contact list.
