“excellent deliverability and value”
Pros
Coming from a strong hosted email platform, I wasn't expecting this service to offer much more but it definitely does. The biggest advantage is the deliverability from their servers. They clearly put a lot of effort into maintaining a clean sending reputation and because of that, their mail is rarely, if ever, flagged or blacklisted as spam. The deliverability has been outstanding.
Cons
The pricing model is a bit expensive and that's probably my biggest complaint. I'd love to see lower costs for maintaining larger lists though I can understand why it's priced this way. Even with that, it still feels worth the investment. It's a great product and in this case, the saying "you get what you pay for" really applies.

“social posting powerhouse”
Pros
Using it is easy and being able to publish across different social media platforms is a big plus.
Cons
At the same time, uploading and posting photos together with printed information was difficult and the program could be temperamental now and then. That turned into a real headache.

“ideal for startup outreach”
Pros
This CRM and email marketing tool has been really positive especially for a company that's just starting out. It's simple to set up, easy to use and creating email drip campaigns doesn't take much effort. The API integration also works easily which makes the whole platform even more useful.
Cons
One thing I'd still love to see is more dynamic CRM functionality especially when it comes to tracking leads throughout the sales pipeline. Having that kind of visibility built in would make it even better.

“powerful contact import and custom emails”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is the excellent set of features it offers. It lets me import contacts along with their email addresses without any hassle and creating custom emails is very convenient.
Cons
It would be even more useful if there were a report showing how long someone kept an email open and whether they printed it or forwarded it.

“affordable messaging with polished results”
Pros
It is usually very easy for new customers because the interface is clearly documented and backed up with helpful tutorials. It's also an affordable, practical way to send professional-looking messages which makes it especially useful for smaller organisations that might not otherwise have access to that kind of polished communication.
Cons
Using it from both the end-user side and the developer side, the development experience can be frustrating at times. The SDK changes introduced in 2020, along with the terminology shift around things like "lists," have made it harder to explain the platform clearly to clients. On top of that, the way their API libraries conceal Git history makes versioning much more difficult than it should be.

“promising ui improvements”
Pros
They keep making steady improvements and the new UI update feels like a big step in the right direction. Their team seems genuinely committed to pushing the product forward which gives me confidence that investing in it now won't lead to a costly platform switch later.
Cons
Product has had a confusing learning curve although that was more noticeable before the latest update. A few features are still tucked away but the new interface is definitely better than the previous one. I'm hoping they keep refining it. The email editor can still feel a bit awkward to work with and getting full customization usually means knowing HTML and CSS.

“Simple and uncluttered tool”
Pros
Getting started with it felt very natural and learning how to use it or train others on it didn't take much effort at all. It also strikes a nice balance by not being overloaded with features so it never feels cluttered or confusing.
Cons
To be honest, any issues I ran into were likely due to my own mistakes rather than a problem with the software itself.

“helpful email marketing platform”
Pros
Having one place to gather and organize customers' email addresses has been really useful. It also works very well for email marketing and is simple to get started with.
Cons
Pricing feels a little high and some parts can be confusing. The dashboard is somewhat complicated so it likely takes at least intermediate-level skills to use comfortably.

“flexible and quick to learn”
Pros
The drag-and-drop tools are really simple to work with so getting started doesn't take much time. Staff members can learn it fast and begin using it without much trouble. There are also plenty of customization options which makes it nice for tailoring things to individual needs.
Cons
There have been a few occasions when the servers went down and as a result, scheduled emails didn't get sent. Because of that, it's important to double-check things every time.

“fantastic email tools and support”
Pros
Keeping my email list organized is much more manageable with this platform. Beyond that, it lets you build landing pages and set up automations which makes it even more useful. Creating and designing emails is pretty easy and they also provide templates you can start from.
Cons
Using the site does come with a bit of a learning curve. There are times when I forget where a specific feature is located although they have been redesigning the platform to make it more user-friendly. On the bright side, their customer service is outstanding. Whenever I need help finding something or figuring out how to change it, their support team is always there to help.

“powerful marketing insights”
Pros
Compared with classic tools like Constant Contact, this one includes all of those core features and adds even more for stronger marketing integration. It also makes it simple to track click-through and open rates and the dashboard gives a quick view of the key metrics that matter.
Cons
It does cost a little more than some other options on the market. We didn't need to contact customer support ourselves although a co-worker had mentioned some problems before that seem to have been fixed since then.

“colorful emails and smart scheduling”
Pros
At our church, this has become the go-to tool for sending all of our communications. When it's connected with church database systems like Planning Center, it makes it simple to send emails to specific groups. The customization options let you build colorful, creative emails that look really appealing and the scheduling feature is especially helpful for planning communications ahead of time.
Cons
Getting it integrated with Planning Center at the beginning was a little rough since the connection between the two systems was not always stable.

“smart tagging and audience control”
Pros
List management and the filter controls have been the most useful parts of the software. It makes it much easier to reach the specific audiences we want and using tags alongside groups fits really well with the way we send our emails.
Cons
The individual search tool isn't very simple. It can search across everything but it would be much more helpful for finding contacts if it allowed filtering by multiple fields.

“powerful automations and funnels”
Pros
Email marketing is where this platform really shines and it's quickly becoming a gold standard in the space. Building campaigns is very easy and the interface makes it simple to get things up and running without much hassle. It has improved a lot on the marketing automation side over time. It's not trying to be HubSpot or SharpSpring but it's definitely closing the gap and competing more seriously now. The built-in email automations and funnel features give it a real edge over many other email marketing platforms.
Cons
A couple of issues really stand out. First, the social integration seems to fail in almost every campaign where I try to use it. The client's social profiles will be connected properly but once I set the email campaign to include a social post, it usually ends up breaking. After the campaign finishes, I get an error saying there's a problem with the campaign and that the social connections aren't correct even though they are. That's incredibly frustrating. Second, once you move into higher-volume usage with tens of thousands of contacts, the pricing becomes pretty expensive.

“fun visuals and promising editor”
Pros
One thing that really caught my attention is how it uses playful, hand-drawn style artwork to show different stages and outcomes in the system. That makes the whole experience feel more engaging and interesting to me. I also saw that they've started developing a new email design editor and even though it's still in beta, I already really love the overall look and feel of it. I've used the new editor for more than three email campaigns already and it has performed even better than I expected.
Cons
Older classic editor gave me some trouble especially when I needed to find basic things like header elements or make adjustments to content I had already added. I'd definitely like to see those parts handled better and improved further in the new design editor.

“powerful marketing and click tracking”
Pros
Building on the API has been easy and the built-in marketing tools plus e-commerce integrations create excellent upsell opportunities. The list management features are really strong and the click tracking is especially useful.
Cons
Interface has improved with its recent refresh but parts of it can still feel a little misleading at times. Connecting it with e-commerce platforms can also end up taking longer than expected.

“amazing for email design”
Pros
Getting started with email marketing felt much more approachable with this software especially as a beginner. Designing emails is incredibly simple and that's easily the part I enjoy most about using it.
Cons
Once my subscriber list and business began to grow, I started needing more in-depth email marketing data. The analytics available are fairly limited so it doesn't offer as much insight as I eventually wanted.

“fast email templates”
Pros
Using the email templates is one of the best parts especially because everything feels very easy. It makes sending out an email really quick when time matters.
Cons
A few of the paid features feel a bit overpriced. I'd really like to use the customer journey feature but at $200 per month, that price feels pretty steep.

“User-friendly but limited for advanced marketing”
Pros
When the goal is simply sending an email to one contact list every week or month, this works really well. Bringing in contacts or capturing them from a website is easy. The design tool is user-friendly and it also gives a clear view of how your campaigns are performing.
Cons
Once you need more advanced contact management, the tagging system gets hard to work with and customized campaigns become more complicated to send. Importing overlapping contact lists from business software, like all clients versus clients who bought a specific item, can turn into a tough and time-consuming task. For a more advanced marketing strategy, I would rather use a true CRM platform like HubSpot.

“excellent drip-feed campaigns”
Pros
The drip-feed feature is easily one of the strongest parts of this platform. It lets me set up campaigns for both brand-new subscribers and people who have been on my list much longer which makes it simple to send each group content that actually fits where they are in their subscription. That kind of targeting is really important for keeping customers engaged and encouraging them to come back.
Cons
Templates are definitely good enough for building email campaigns but I would personally prefer a little more control over the finer design details since I work as a web developer. Still, that's a pretty minor limitation and it doesn't have much impact on the overall experience.
